  3. Brutes should have had scrapper resist caps, but had a scaling resist buff built into fury that would start at 25% fury and cap them at 90% resist at higher fury levels. The longer they are in a fight, the tougher they are and the more damaging they become.
  4. In my ever exhausting attempt to find that tanker that clicks with me, I have made a build for ice/stone after testing a shield/stone tanker on Justin.   9. What is your single target chain? I am trying to decide between the T2 and 3 powers.
  10. I was mostly wondering about fire armor itself as most of the time it seems it is only used for farm builds.
  11. I was just wondering how well a fire/dark tank would work in end game. I can get my s/l/f/e/n to 90 with the alpha, but the defenses are in the 20s and 30s. I keep trying to raise defenses, but it ends up lowering resists. Is fire a serious tank for end game?
  12. Now I have the urge to create a character dressed in red, white and dark brown named Neapolitan Dynamite.
  13. I am trying to decide between two tanks. I decided after running several TFs and summer events where we had to tank or healing, I would make a self healing tank that I could take through incarnate trials. I have two builds I have made up. This first one is shield and my goal was to get as much damage as I could while getting to the defense soft cap and as much resist as possible for when I do get hit. The only thing that concerns me is the 66% DDR. I don't know how well that will hold up at the end game or even on the trip to the end game.   15. I am curious when you mean by a quasi rage build using SR and DM? I am looking at making a hard to kill self healing tank so I have been looking for something to pair DM with besides the obvious DA.
  16. With cascading defense failure being a thing, I am wondering just how useful defense is for a non SR tank if it can be taken away fairly easy.
  17. I was messing around with the planner.( I spend more time with it than in the game) I wanted to see what I could do about that psi hole. I had to sacrifice some defense, but with DM and DN from soul mastery, I should be good to go. My thought is that sooner or later my defense will fail. Is it worth doing or should I work more on defense..   18. I found another bug. Create a SR tank and load the first 4 powers and put some slots into them. Save the build. Clear the build out of the planner and then open it back up. The first 4 powers will be replaced with Radiation Emission powers. It doesn't seem to happen with scrappers and brutes.
  19. I like the ice one and the radiation one. Ice gives -recharge, -damage and slows targets around you and the radiation one gives a 20% haste buff.
  20. OK, I gave the three builds I am looking at another once over. The goal for them is to fill the need for a tank and healer for said tank that I seem to find when I play with friends and whatever the LFG gives us for the summer event and TFs, so I decided to go for a self healing tank that I can take to incarnate levels. I did take it to Justin and went into DA where the level 54 mobs are to fight groups of red minions and purple LTs and boss groups.   21. Yeah I was thinking about set that don't give any defense like Fire and dark armor. The three sets I am looking at are shield which I know what to do with and of course fire and dark. I just wasn't sure what defenses to go for with resist sets.

  23. I was making a few tank builds which I will need help deciding on soon, when a thought occurred to me. I was working on getting melee defense and as much s/l as I could. Then it occurred to me that most melee attacks have s/l in them and would be handled by s/l defense. It is the ranged attacks that tend to be pure like the psionic attacks. Am I remember this wrong?
  24. On a related note, does the Diamagnetic -tohit stack with dark melee and does any of them work with damage auras or powers like burn?
