I haven't played much lately. Hopped on long enough to PL an alt from 18 to 35, stared at Mids for a second, closed Mids, logged off. I agree completely that being cool, gracious and helpful to new players is VITAL to a community's well being. But what do we do to help keep the old fogies around? I mean, hell, the one thing I care about is generally ignored as unimportant by the majority of both players and devs. How should I be reacting to that other than with a shrug?

Claws is better for me on scrappers. Definitely superior on the AoE side and probably better for ST. Claws is the arguably the worst set on stalkers. It was horrifically gutted in completely ludicrous ways and I can't grok how it has been left in that state all this time.

Wish I could say. Every time I've tried savage I've bailed on it. Unsure why other than it feels weird. So I've never crunched any chains for it.

Yup. And nowadays we don't even need pads to start the majority of them. Just walk on up, say hi and get to the killin.

That's already an option and helps greatly. Drop it to the lowest setting when teamed and marvel at the lessened eye strain. Edit: I misread. Disregard!

Ack. It would be, but the number of enhancements at 50 exceeds our 70 enh limit.

I'd be happier if I all unused enhancements started in inventory and I could move them to trash.

I went seismic/kin. Figure with the KD from the seismic shockwaves, I'd feel safer hanging out in melee, and had no kin. She's 18 just street sweeping but I plan to PL her to 32 and run her for a while with basic IOs and the standard uniques for a while. Will say of the three new stoners I built, she's the most fun so far.

Might be so. But the introduction of the VMDC lit that fire back up. I'm thankful to whoever put in the work to add it and would love to have a conversation regarding why they did so. If such a thing as an accurate, summonable DPS calc is possible now, I would just really like having it.
