Slapped together, very non-optimized build, all T4ed up, 2:25 pylon time for claws/stone scrapper. Definitely lots of room for improvement. Ageless radial will have to be in play for more DDR and Recharge. End suckage from 8 toggles should be tolerable with the 3 available spots for perf shifters if you go body mastery as well. Heh... even building blind, just going off other builds, I landed at 181.25% global recharge.

Might even go crank one to 50 on beta tonight. Curious to compare the extra damage from brimstone vs bio armor. And of course I'm suspecting that stone armor was over-tweaked like tanks and nrg melee were.

Ummm, we can do claws/db/kat with scrapper stone armor? Holy crapsticks on a crutch.... well farkin A for no granite on scrapper stone armor. Claws/Stone it is for me then.

Sadly unpossible since recharge time doesn't start until the animation is done. But Mids is stating it's at .68sec recharge. It does make me wonder about cranking up a pocket kin and running focus/slash/repeat on my main. Hmmm, 12 sec base recharge on focus, needs to be 1.584 for slash's Acast time... 656% total recharge needed... caps at ... well that ain't happening. Slash/Swipe? 4.8 down to 1.056... 355% total recharge. Well that's downright doable.

There's no easy answer here. I've always been a scrapper at heart but checking my woefully out of date character spreadsheet shows I have more tanks and brutes and tied on sents. I seem to find I get the most enjoyment these days from my earth/earth dom or my dark/stone tank. But I'm also teaming most of the time these days when I am on but lots of my game time gets used up by State of Decay 2. Apparently I really am wishing for a post-apocalyptic wasteland. CoH is a bit too happy sometimes. But did Bill Z Bubba the scrapper choose me? No. But he did become another me over time.

Executioner's Shot always makes me say, "dodge this." My favorite combo? Same one I've watched countless times... followup, focus, slash, repeat, probably. Seismic smash, stone spears, heavy mallet, stone spears is way up there, though. And a nod has to go to blaze, flares, blazing blast, flares.

They're sound opinions seemingly based in logic and rationality. So ramble on. I dig the discussions. I've got some hopes for the new hardmode stuff. Oddly, those hopes are all based on teaming related ideas, which we can all agree is kinda weird for me.

Over the cap on defense and capped on resists is NOT difficult for most tanks these days. I see it all the time on my SR tank with better DDR. Sooo, not seeing a problem.

I've mostly agreed with every mod-smack I've received. Still don't feel at all in the wrong for posting what I posted, though. They have their rules, I have mine. I'm in their playground, so I have to follow their rules or deal with the consequences. No different than many other areas of our lives. I am finding that I'm less likely these days to point out when someone is being stupid/ignorant/illogical/insane but that's only due to accepting that 2/3 of our species fall into those categories and it's just no longer worth my time. Moving to the legal pot and taking a year long vacation may also be playing a role.

Yup. Same story here. I knew many of my current SG mates from Pinnacle back before the snap, but back then I soloed 95% of the time. With HC, the BSOD SG somehow got me to move to Excel from Torch and I've been running with them weekly, if not nightly, ever since. I blame aging to be honest. Or maybe the covid lockdown. Or both and many other reasons. While I can still go on a solo spree of death and destruction, as I did when getting BZB Scrap to 666 vet lvls, I have found that it's more fun to crack open a beer, hit the vape and log onto Discord for a TF or three with the SG.

I concur. And ice armor is garbage. Even new tweaked stone armor is even better than ice across the board.

With a lot of the weakening coming from the very low DDR (which would be higher on a tank but not enough to matter.) And it's not like nrg drain is a fast cast time. Honestly seems pretty dang well balanced for what it does.

Unpossible at this time. Which is silly. Now that I've played Nrg Aura, I see no reason at all a direct port shouldn't happen.

I suspect you're likely correct, @oldskool Sents will get their rework and probably sooner than many of us suspect. At that time, all the blast set changes will get ported in. Yes, I absolutely want to play a stone/inv sent. I think it'll be a hoot. Until then, I'll have a stone/earth blaster and a stone/stone scrapper to work on.

Just main tanked MoM iTrial. No deaths. No issues at all. I did replace some damage procs to 6 slot 3 purple sets and we did have a widow with mind link.

Tactics. Man is THAT gonna have to chew through some godmode muscle memory...
