I've heard the heal is solid but I can't get around the many long-ass animations. That said, having Irradiated Ground in the set to make up for SR's lack of a damage aura sounds pretty good. And, yes, SR did just fine in the DASF as main tank.
My seismic/kin cor is leveling surprisingly fast with few faceplants doing nothing but street sweeping.
Due to the lovely KD provided by the set, I've been pondering a very melee-centric seismic/dark blaster.

About to crank up my stoner shortly if I can pull myself away from killin zombies.
Super Reflexes, level capped at 12 (powers up to lvl 17,) using nothing but SOs.
1% short of defense softcap to all melee and ranged attacks. 13% short of it for AoE.
For the lvl 22 build, it just gets sillier.
And of course you'll be able to use IOs instead of SOs if ya like. Plenty available for the lvl 22 build to play with.
Necessary? Not even remotely. Useful at times? Sure, but you'll find those times few and far between. My solo-centric shield/nrg tank doesn't have it, doesn't need it. My team-centric dark/stone tank has it and uses it often along with fold space for tanking duties.
Yes, all the attacks work while flying. Here's the build with which I got a 1:23 solo max diff ITF time. I use fly on most of my builds and this one is no different. Attack chain is ET-slow, TF, ET-fast, Gloom, Bonesmasher, repeat for single target.
I don't care if they care, nor do I care how it's fixed. The math is available to make it a balanced set with no crash and it should be fixed accordingly because the current situation is just plain dumb.

Or just leave it alone and do nothing cuz it's a no-win situation.
Or do both. Pull a Sentinel SR trick. Leave Rage exactly as is and add another power that's a passive clone of fury at half the value. Potential +100% damage at 100% SS Fury (obviously call it something else) but you have to work for it. Choose one and it locks you out of the other.
