  1. LOooool as someone in QA I felt this. 😄
  2. Good summary. I'd also add that folks learned how to farm on various other Pri/Sec combos also. (Some which you didn't mention above, but overall point is correct . . . pretty much anything was easier than fire/kin controllers as COH changed)
  3. SAME. It's like logging into a character after a year and getting hit with all the badges implemented since. LOL
  4. So the antidote to John Cena is an uncanny insight. Noted. 😛
  5. This is a great idea!
  6. I'd be down. Just for the possibility of the proc bomb suggestion. Would they actually DO it though . . . hmmmm
  7. I'd be fine with it, if it provided some sort of inf sink. Say 500 to 800 mil.
  8. As someone who has worked IT External/Internal Helpdesk, as a Business Analyst, as a QA and QA Lead, you get used to having to dodge and weave as folks miss the bullseye. 😛
  9. those . . . don't seem all that different. And the second one actually sounds worse.
  10. The market is a mini game. One that players like. Asking for radical changes to it will get radical responses for that reason alone. Also the market as is is 1000 times better than the absolute dreck we had on live. I would be VERY careful of them making changes to the market . . . especially since they've got it working well.
  11. 100 million inf is absolutely nothing in terms of cost. You can make that easily in a day of converters and simply selling what you craft on the AH. If we are going to do this (which I think we should NOT) I'd put the price close to 500-800 mil per purchase.
  12. Let’s keep in mind that all of this is Optional. Even when this setting is brought to older TFs it will still be optional.
  13. I would say the bug with the tethering and the reward window should be looked at before I would call this ship able. Besides that I agree with most of what you said.
  14. Yeah I can imagine seeing even more rows of leadership toggles underneath my endurance bar soon 🤣🤣🤣
  15. A yup!!! And once again this is all optional. No one HAS to play on these NEW optional difficulty modes. seriously the devs are giving both sides of the age old forum argument what they’ve asked for. Including more rewards for doing the harder stuff, which many folks thought the harder difficulty wouldn’t !!! I have a couple of team focused characters that I’m dusting off and finally IO’ing up just because of this. At the same time I know that if I just want to play the base mode easy mode COH, that will still be there. this is one of the best system updates to this game in years 😊😊😊
  16. actually I wouldn’t compare haimdon raids as I don’t think they are that easy. Our gifted and friendly raid leaders make it look easy. I don’t consider herding 50 players and organizing ATs into distinct teams via the hard to use league interface, to be all that easy. It’s often a thankless job dealing with 7 other players and getting them to cooperate is much easier.
  17. This one is one of the greatest fixes in modern COH history. Finally!
  18. As someone who was there as this epic content was developed, at various stages, Bravo @Cobalt Arachne and the team that worked on this and the new difficulty options. 🙂 EDIT: The way this was incrementally put together and tested at each stage is an awesome template for the future!
  19. If they are going to do it I hope they do it right. I’d be willing to wait as long as it takes, for Homecoming to do it right. I’ve seen what the other servers attempted and I was very VERY disappointed.
  20. Ehhh I doubt they do much to the solo path here for incarnates (aka threads constantly dropped when you hit 50, etc)
  21. I'd say has the lion share because it has a better experience. Many folks DO NOT want the old experience from Live. Various threads and arguments on the suggestion forums about difficulty and old-school versus new school COH experience also bares that out. They prefer the path Homecoming is on: Aka a more streamlined approach to COH that doesn't waste the player's time with time sink nonsense we had from live (which was necessary for a subscription game). On the other hand they also don't want the insane (but admittedly fun for a short period of time) sandbox feeling of Cake, where you can sneeze and everything falls over (With the changes that team has done the word "difficulty" is not even a serious discussion on that server). Costume pieces are nice, Full on sandbox COH is also nice (for a short period of time), better play experience over all trumps that. That's why HC KEPT the population all this time. Regardless of who set what server up first.
  22. Pretty much this. COH being back didn't do anything to fact that most of these "superhero games" haven't had any real progress in nearly a decade.
  23. which is why I’m glad the whole “wait here while the tank groups them up for us” style of gameplay is pretty much dead. Granted if a PUG team is struggling and they choose to do that I won’t argue. I just personally think it’s boring as hell. And I’m glad Homecoming hasn’t bowed down to those who keep asking for Tanks/Brutes to be able to round up more mobs.
  24. it will if you choose to form your own teams to run in hard mode. Or happen to catch a team choosing to run in that mode. Outside of that mode everything will be exactly the same.
