  1. Meh, market pvp is a bit weak when you have converters, merits and what the AE gives you. You really can completely avoid the market for some things. Or just bid patiently and wait. I think the OP exaggerates the issue.
  2. Interesting thought experiment. It wouldn't be popular enough to justify it's cost in terms of development time and resources.
  3. I'm behind new and better IO sets that include a KB to KD IO. I'm not behind (and never will be) a global switch.
  4. I can get behind new IO Sets. Good job. 🙂
  5. KB is fine as is. We have IOs to deal with it, for anyone who does not like it.
  6. I don't think KB is an issue, so I DO NOT agree that it's a problem. I've teamed with plenty of folks over the years that have used KB correctly and as a great mitigation tool. So without saying, I agree with the HC devs expressed view on it. The KB>KD IO imo is good enough.
  7. Because there is only so many times that you can do the same quest or story line over and over again. Keep in mind many of us have done then 10+ times on live. We're not going to do it again just to try new alts (or pvp). EDIT: The low level content is in desperate need of a revamp (especially blue side). Some of it is terribly rewritten compared to the more moderns stuff created later in COH's life.
  8. Yeah I think control would need something to make it less binary and more "active". As a kin I definably DO NOT feel useless as a support. lol In fact my fingers struggle after a few hours. Not feeling useful as Control is a problem with the game not treating control well at all, as a gameplay element.
  9. I think the issue is so much is going on in those it's sometimes a struggle. It's also why I don't do MSR as much anymore.
  10. I'd also get behind this part. For any additional incarnate slots/powers, they should be useable in future incarnate content only.
  11. This on the other hand I could get behind. Customizable incarnates sounds like fun. How about: I can adjust any incarnate ability to have 3 times it's recharge in exchange for doubling either it's range or damage. (Aka turn it into an actual nuke that used LESS). I can adjust Destiny to last longer, if I choose to increase it's recharge time by the equivalent amount I can adjust Lore to generate two pets, but their recharge is longer or they are squishier. Stuff like that I would consider something making the Incarnate system more interesting and not a nerf.
  12. I'd be down for this minus the removal of the level shift. Keep that existing shift the way it is. Any FUTURE additional shifts should locked to incarnate content.
  13. The game is too easy and "i don't feel useful" I think are slightly different things. One way to make more folks feel useful would be to create things that those roles could deal with like mechanics as you alluded to. FFXIV Online does this quite well. I would argue though that buffs and debuffs definitely feel useful to me when I team with users of those abilities or use them as one of those ATs that have them. Control though could use some work. But I think that's an issue with how control currently works in this game, and not actually the game being too easy.
  14. Again, completely disagree. The SO change was one of the best in a long time.
  15. Yeah no. The merit / Converter system was one of the key improvements over live. Completely and vehemently DISAGREE with this suggestion.
  16. At higher difficulty levels that players can OPTIONALLY choose? Sure.
  17. The way to do that is to build optional difficulty that anyone can take on while leaving the base game as is. Something I think you alluded to earlier.
  18. I expect it would take several years. I'm fine with that. Also I personally wouldn't care if the new difficulty settings didn't offer rewards, but in past discussions multiple people have said it should be part of the deal. /shrug.
  19. True, but many folks have stated they would not play those new difficulty settings without additional rewards.
  20. I would say maybe at certain levels have those mobs show up. Like in level 40-50 range. But not in the 1-40 range.
  21. You sir make very good points. For me new mechanics would be more fun than just "moar numbers to keep up with player builds". It's part of what I expect each time I ask for new content.
  22. Agreed. More usual than not lately when I PUG, I'm barely seeing any real support sets. Only time I see them is if I bring one or I actively form a team and look for some. Also I don't assume that I'm going to get a lot of support sets as team mates, when I team nowadays, I assume the exact opposite, especially with how complicated some of them are to play. Also there are a lot of support sets I've run into that DO NOT have maneuvers lately. I'm not sure what that's about. More likely than not they have Tactics instead. I'd be interested to see the devs data mine how often specific powers in the Leadership pool are taken nowadays.
  23. Well . . . they (the devs) don't have to guess. They have Cryptic and Brainstorm for a reason. 😛
  24. I think a discussion about identifying the actual dev-stated problem with procs, fits in with the thread. Granted it's not going change what the devs decide to do, even if you identify the problems. But it adds to the discussion for those who have not been paying attention to the proc discussions of previous. (/raises hand). The discussion about Powerhouse's thoughts on it helped.
  25. I actually prefer fighting games over mmo pvp for many many reasons. It's one of the reasons I haven't stepped into zone pvp since HC came online. If I want to pvp there are better games than COH for it, that have been released since COH live shutdown.
