  1. I . . . don't think I've ever seen a judgement miss in the entire time I've been playing on HC, and that includes various mobs, including ITF mobs, even after this bug fix. I'd need a video. No seriously, I have literally never seen judgement miss. I didn't even know it could.
  2. Nah, they've updated things for graphics that get folks sick before. This is a great suggestion.
  3. Realistically I think we are faaaaaar off from any further incarnate abilities. I think they have their focus on adding more content first.
  4. And for the record, I have multiple farmers in EVERY AT. And I farm, and some have no incarnate abilities and I still think this is a bad idea.
  5. You can't turn it into a business for obvious reasons. Seeing as how the IP is not owned by anyone currently playing or working on this. Think on that for a second. We'll wait. You can DONATE those funds though via the monthly donation window. You know, the one they announce pretty much EVERY MONTH. 😛
  6. As someone who farms regularly, this is simply incorrect. And the main argument against this was that it would reduce the number of folks doing iTrails. You're not making the suggestion look better with the recent comments above.
  7. Sure give them the funds to do that. We'll wait.
  8. Things are fine as is. It would make me LESS likely to do incarnate trials. Simply because I could just load up a non-AE farm map (you do realize that there are plenty of NON-AE farms right? RIGHT?) and go to town. If this were implemented there would literally be no reason for me to ever run an trial ever again. And I think the farmers would very quickly figure this out as well. If you're now going to say "well lets not have threads drop from regular content either" I'll say you're nuts. lol
  9. No. Since Marketers can make inf way faster than any farmer, as has been proven multiple times in multiple threads.
  10. Interestingly enough I do the TFs, Hami raids, and Mothership raids so that I can earn Merits, which I then use to buy converters so that I can marketeer. The great thing about this game is that there are multiple ways to make inf.
  11. The irony . . . it burrrrrnnssss
  12. This is what the OP originally posted: He was not talking about making it being free: Leveling is great, the 2xp is fantastic help, but why not just make an instant max level token that cost 100mil INF, or whatever number really! I think this would help my ALT-itis heavily, and also kill some off some of the AE Farm obsession, just a tad. Eat up some influence, max out characters quicker, and since its a token nobody is forced to do it if they wanna play naturally? Love to hear some cons about this idea!
  13. Pretty much my point. Even if the token is free folks would STILL be looking for a farm. Just not for leveling. And at the point I'd say what's the point. the hardest part of leveling isn't the actual leveling. Not anymore. The hardest part for those who don't want to play the market is affording IOs for hose newly minted level 50s.
  14. They would still jump on farms for cash.
  15. People would still farm to get inf to make enhancements. So no, it wouldn't cut out farming.
  16. I like the thoughtful approach to this game that HC continues to take. Thanks team! 🙂
  17. When I pvp'd heavily on live it was in the zones. I avoided arena after trying it a few times, as there were too many rules. (Ban's, what can be run, show up for practice at a set time). I just didn't have the time for that and did not enjoy many powers I enjoyed in pve, being a "no no" in pvp. So I stuck to zone.
  18. I don't find redside fun. That's why I don't play it.
  19. Once again you and I are going to have to agree to disagree. Saying a game is simple or can be played mindlessly is not a chastisement or insult. There are many million dollar games on the market that are just that. I'd argue the Devs (based on comments at the time and after the game shut down) DID intend of CoH to be simple, compared to what else was out there at the time. It wasn't till the IO system that real complexity got added to the game. FFXIV has many more complex encounters than this game. That's not a bad thing or indictment of COH. Sometimes you want simple gameplay, or games you can come back to that you don't need to spend a lot of time relearning if you haven't played them in years. COH is simple and uncomplex enough (aka what I'd consider it fun for) that when HC went live I didn't need to spend months re-learning it. I can't say the same about FFXIV when I take long breaks and haven't played some of the raid-level encounters in weeks. YMMV.
  20. I didn't even realize there were this many procs in the game! (the fact that there are means the IO system is much more interesting than I even first thought) WOW 😮
  21. I play both this game and FFXIV. When I want to have fun just mindless running through mobs and living out the superhero power fantasy (especially after a long day of IT QA, where you most assuredly CANNOT do things mindlessly), I come here. When I want a more modern mmo approach (where I have to move in certain ways to avoid certain bad actions --pre-moving or moving just in time or pattern versus the "yellow" markings on the floor that indicate a big bosses major attack is about to land; or do a series of actions to end an encounter faster--for instance BLM rotation to get max dps) I play FFXIV. Sometimes you want the fun of complexity (FFXIV / WoW encounters). Sometimes you want the fun of simplicity. (COH / Genshin Impact) EDIT: For those who don't know BLM, is Black Mage in FFXIV (arguably the job with the highest potential dps in the game), and there are certain rotations you have to get down (with appropriate level of spell speed) to maximize the dps that BLM can do. Thankfully there are no dps meters unlike WoW, so you have much room to learn without folks yelling at you when you get it wrong :p)
  22. I'd be careful in trying to boil things that deal with actual human emotion down to a metric. I don't think that was the point of the thread.
  23. To make tweaks and additions based on feedback from pvpers, sure. I think the objection is to an open world server, which I think we all agree would be waste of time.
  24. No thanks. I'm having fun on blueside. 🙂 But you guys have fun over there.
