Another vote for Striga. It's got a wide variety of mobs to encounter, some nice underground areas to explore that can be easily missed. Mrs. Peebles is the nicest person and gives you a pretty cool gift for helping out around the area. Oh and a giant robot in a volcano, what's not to like about that!

I expect that these requests come from players that have spent countless hours and millions to billions on Enh to eek out every fraction of Def/Dam/etc they possibly can which leaves the majority of the game feeling rather underwhelming when they can roll through on max +/x. I honestly don't know what percentage of the players kite out their builds versus those of us that don't even bother with Mids and just slot what seems to be the best option. Personally, I just like playing and spending hours in Mids tweeking numbers seems like too much work. But I think that being able to provide greater challenges to power players without extensive revamps of game mechanics or creating more end game content, using the Ouro 'challenge settings' mechanics would be the simplisst option. Ouro challenge settings: Time Limits - Allow time limit selections for missions/arcs, 15m/30m/1hr/etc. Limited Lives - No deaths, one death, etc. Power Challenges Players are DeBuffed Enemies are Buffed AT Powers only No Travel Powers No Temp Powers No Epic/Patron Powers No Inspirations No Enhancements Currently not something in that game but would be a nice addition: No Enhancement Bonuses (Not currently a thing but I think it's something that should be a thing. Spawn Void Hunters/Nictus/Crystals (Also not a thing but I've seen a lot of players requesting that they be put back. ) Players can select one, several, or all to their heart's content. EDIT: Another thread reminded of Kheld kooties.

As I've said in multiple other suggestions along this line... I'd rather they incorporated the Ouro debuff settings to regular content (missions/TF's/SFs/etc) than to alter the game so that it hits everyone. Things getting too easy? Make a second build limited to common IO's or even SO's.

This was my favourite forums game on Legacy and I'm glad you brought it back. I find it even more challenging when I don't particularly like the colours (like this last one... 😉 ).

I believe I read somewhere that Discord's other option was possibly going public. I'd rather see them do that then get churned up in the undertow by MS.

In our household, using a cast iron skillet is not only preferred but required. Put a dollop of bacon grease in the pan, toss in the oven to heat pan and melt bacon grease. Makes for the perfect, golden, crispy crust.

There were posterior head-adornments even back on Legacy. The Homecoming team has rules and a code of conduct in place, if you come across a player that you feel is in violation you can report them. Even though this is an all-volunteer team working on and monitoring CoH:H there are moderators "on the job" so to speak and they will look into reports and take appropriate action. I hope your positive experiences in the game outweigh any of the negative ones. And welcome back. 🙂

Well, I did say "missions", though I did not specify that TFs/SFs and the like are different animals since they have specific requirements.

...you can save your character's appearance. Quite a few MMO's have fairly decent character creations and yet don't provide the option to save their appearance.

True, but you could slot SO's up to L50 and still be fine, rather than scouring the AH for "the best gear" or grind a specific mission for that one drop.

...you can play with your friends in any mission, regardless of the level of content. ...your character's effectiveness is not dependent on what you are wearing. ...you can team with up to seven of your friends. ...you don't have to pay more to access new content, or even old content. -.- (Even during Legacy, the hybrid model allowed free players to run content up to max level, only excluding them from Incarnate.) ...your character's effectiveness is less dependent on taking X ability at Y level, slotted with Z . I've been playing another MMO with some friends and every time we play I've come across a mechanic, game design, or pay wall that annoys me. Anyone have a similar experience?

Also, if you are looking for where to find certain mobs you can look in this hunting guide: It's alphabetical and geared towards Defeat badges, but is still handy for where to look.
