Good names are subjective.

I have a feeling that the whole reason that this is a separate zone is to avoid issues with X-mas vs appropriated Winter Solstice celebrations that would undoubtedly arise. Put frost on windows, snow on trees and icicles on overhangs to winterize the zone.

Most of them run under $30, can hold over 2L of water and come with filters. The thing about cats is that they are predisposed to be leery of standing water, one of the reasons many like to play with water running out of faucets. Our cat started drinking much more water when we got him a fountain.

You're assuming that people read announcements or any other Dev post. I've seen multiple occasions where people post here or on Discord only once they've been impacted and often do so without searching for anything regarding the issue. It happened with /ebfp, it will happen with names.

I'm not sure how HC intends on implementing the name release, but on Legacy when the devs ran the script to release names (all of twice), it did not generic any character name that fell withing the given parameters. A released name only genericed when someone else created a character (or renamed an existing character) and chose the released name. So, the released name could sit there unclaimed and the owner could log in a year later and the released name would still be on their character and would once again be claimed. If I recall correctly, one of the Legacy devs mentioned that of all the names released when they ran the script, the amount of names claimed from that pool was a single digit percent.

You can solo all Praetorian content an any combination, the difference will be on how fast you can dispatch mobs and whether you can just jump in a faceroll fight or have to fight smart, using pulling techniques, sniping, etc. My currently most played Praetorian is an ex-Shredder Destroyer Savage/Dark Brute that had no issues in the 1-20 content. She's currently 20 so I've not dropped her into any First Ward missions yet.

I only have 30-40 across all the servers, so less that a 3rd that I had on Legacy. I only have three 50's because getting to max level is just not that important to me. Sometimes I just roll up a character because I came up with a name, like last night I made a Dual Pistols/Kin named 'Doubleshot Espresso'.

I believe the policy you speak of is for character levels 1-5. 6-20 it's 90 days, and 21-49 is a full year. But I also believe that policy has not been initiated yet. I'm not sure how the HC devs' version will work, but on Legacy it was a script that had to be run and they only did it twice during the life of the game. It wasn't something they just turned on and stayed active.

After reading through the thread, this was pretty much my thoughts as well. The OP's post of the GM's response to their ticket had me thinking about a story I got from one of the Legacy devs regarding a player's in-game "bug" report. Some of you may recall the in-game bug report popup. This would create a ticket in their tracking systems and when they had migrated over to Jira the very first ticket generated by a player contained the player's verbose description of the issue as "Shit's broke. Fix it."

Everyone's opinion on what is a "cool" or "imaginative" name is subjective.

I'm just remembering back in the day when I had to hoof it across Steel Canyon to change tram lines. Locating exploration points is easy when you have the Vidiots map pack installed and gathering them is the absolutely easiest way to nab Merits. Thanks Devs for all you do.
