One of my 50s is a Water/Willpower Sentinel and it is one of my favorite characters. That unpredictable inherent really doesn’t affect my enjoyment of the character, however, I wouldn’t turn my nose up to an adjustment or two.
Just to give you an idea, I went with a Kinetic Melee/Willpower Brute for my sorcerer concept (inspiration loosely based off of Dr. Fate). KM looks like Spellcasting and Willpower grants durability and mystical recovery. Add in Sorcery (plus a few other options that make the concept work) and it fits much better than a Sentinel does.
As someone that leveled a Storm up to 50 in the old game on a dare, I must say that words could not accurately describe my “disappointment” when the KD IO didn’t reduce the Repel in Hurricane. And truth be told, it’s best for everyone that I do not utter what was said here...
Homecoming has decided not to allow trademarked/copyrighted characters. They will deal with specific issues of this when concerning people using their trademarked/copyright characters in-game.
The discussion should really be over with at this point.
thanks for the update, Jimmy.
I was just answering the question with the most viable solution. I don’t give one single Damn whether they would implement it or not, however, the reading here sure would be entertaining if they did.🤣
While I wouldn’t enjoy changing the names and likeness of any of mine that might fit that criteria, I would absolutely LOVE reading the threads in here concerning this.🤣
I’m saving Paragon City from evil, planning to take the Rogue Isles for myself or keeping the last of humanity safe in Preatoria (depending on what character I log onto at any particular time). I would hope that something like this is the prevailing opinion and the reason why we are all here.😁
Apart from getting it to work properly, it looks like the pass on Rage is done and what is currently here on Test is simply what we all will have to live with.
But you can, Tater. Make a Tanker at various levels and post back here what playing it feels like. The inexperienced perspective might be even more useful to the stated goals than a (possibly jaded) veteran approach.
