I don't think that's true. All the IP holder would have to do is sue the biggest rogue server and likely the individuals running it, currently this one, and any server of any significant size would fold.

What could be make it extra complicated is the additional coding done since NC Soft shut the game down since that gets its own copyright as well. If I was NC Soft and I was only interested in my own best interests, I'd insist on owning that code too.

I agree. Which is why I believe any such toggle should not be KB to KD, it should eliminate both. A leader asking someone to completely eliminate KB and KD is a much bigger demand than KB to KD. And it would make the leader look like that much of a control freak to everyone else. Making the leader look bad to more people is a fair and reasonable cost.

I bet you are way overestimating both how many people actually care enough to block, but more importantly that such a person matters once they block another player. 100 people could ignore someone in game tomorrow it wouldn't make enough of an impact for most people to even notice, much less care about.

This! Except I use Google Sheets for my CoH stuff. I actually like Excel a little bit better, but by the time I started really using it I already had my Google Sheet set up for this. Copying and pasting to Excel caused some cells to lose their borders and that bugged the shit out of me. Back on topic, I track the influence for every character and what I hold in email. For general play I don't update the spreadsheet every time I log in, really just when that character does something on the market or runs a farm. So any given moment a character may be off by a few million, but I don't consider that a big deal. Then I have a cell that totals it all up so I know how much I have overall. I also have another sheet inside that book that lists every single character, their level, AT, primary, and secondary. Scrapper is my most common overall and what I have the most 50s. Blaster isn't too far behind. Electric Melee and Shield Defense are my most common powersets. Average character level is like 40.3 or something like that. I get bored easily so I set this all up a few months ago and update it anytime I make a new character or gain a bunch of levels.

Ok, then then they should release a patch on April 1 that removes the aggro cap, ports Super Strength to Scrappers as is, turns IH back into a toggle, brings back old Blaster defiance, and removes ED. Then on April 2 roll it all back.

This one is my favorite because I sell Miracles all the time, so when the bug hits I don't have to do anything different and they sell for a much higher price. Worst case for me is you or someone else jumps in and buys mine just above my minimum and they all sell extremely fast. Also I noticed the bug this evening.
