  1. Support / Melee is pretty high on my list too. Henchpets / Control somewhere after that.
  2. Wait, @Troo . . . In https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/24492-add-emojis-to-in-game-chat/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-298968 are you suggesting that you were originally trying to ask about the implementation of a Reputation System in-game? Like, for character costumes and/or biographies? Or for Builds? Because we already have the star rating system for AE, so it's not without precedent, sure. If so, then I'd still hazard against doing it with emoticons/emojis, which are much more subjective than a 5-star rating system. I mean, just look at the Rep system we have here in the forums, and how divisive some of the options are here. People have -very- different opinions on what the "Confused" Rep is even meant to be used for. When something detracts from clear communication, it becomes more of a burden than an effective tool.
  3. I'd say that such an NPC is Kings Row-appropriate, at least, considering the other NPCs and atmosphere in the neighbourhood. I'm not against having a time cycle on them, though. Other NPCs in the area could be a pair of police officers and/or tourists who stop by for photos. Bonus points if there's a chance for all three and unique dialogue popping up.
  4. I think, for the most part, we generally all skew on the older side of the GET OFF MY LAWN, YA DAMNED HIPPIES for this particular suggestion.
  5. I approve of this idea! And would like to suggest similar treatment for the Global Search Window too.
  6. @EmmySky should also show off the awesome spiral staircase that she built for me! But the base's passcode will be kept unlisted for now, so screenshots shall have to suffice. (By the way; thanks again, Emmy!)
  7. And Nathan Fillion loves you too! . . . or so I've heard.
  8. I haven't tested here yet, but if memory serves (and full disclosure: It rarely does), then Fulcrum Shift, Siphon Power, and Siphon Speed were all immune to this problem. Or at least the player-character AoE portion of Fulcrum Shift was; as I typically used Fulcrum Shift at the start of a fight, it rarely had the opportunity to be cast on enemies which were in a state of being defeated. Of course, the past is probably irrelevant to this current problem . . . so . . . gotta test!
  9. Oh no! This defeat-failure is how it was on Live for -years,- and it was the number-one complaint I had with Kinetics; which was otherwise my favourite Support Set. When I found that it had been fixed sometime between 2010 and 2019, I was ecstatic to finally have that long-standing issue dealt with! The recent changes to Kinetics caused this old pain-in-the-ass to return? We should test Transference too! It used to be affected by the failure condition too back in the day.
  10. Why "rather?" Why not "in addition to?"
  11. It seems to be a graphical artefacting issue of some kind. Basically the clickable portion of the Portal despawns as normal, but for some uncertain reason the visual effect persists. I've seen it happen a number of times when my system is particularly overtaxed. To that end, when you witnessed this issue, was your computer having any usual slowdown or lag issues?
  12. Congratulations! Treat 'em well.
  13. Considering the market value for Oranges (and Yellows), I think most people probably share the sentiment that Resistance Inspirations just aren't worth bothering with.
  14. Given that Meinst is halfway through the Trial, I think that's part of the issue. Too far in to just abandon and retry. Not far enough to feel like "we've almost at the end, it's okay." Smack dab in the middle, it feels especially frustrating. It's at the point now where I honestly solo DFBs to earn the badges. It takes much longer, but it's far more reliable. I kind of think that's a bit of an issue.
  15. I mean, unless you don't believe in borders, and all the world is your own backyard, globalist philosophy, et cetera, et cetera.
  16. Thank you for the advanced notice. As short as the window is, it's certainly better than no warning at all, and it's appreciated immensely!
  17. @Jimmy, I appreciate your efforts to engage with the community on this topic, and I don't want to sideline the main subject too much, but I did want to address something in particular from you: "Travel powers exist for a reason. Trainers, stores, and crafting locations exist out in the world for a reason. All of the zones in the game have various connections to each other for a reason. All of these other travel options existed in the live game for a reason. The command obviated huge parts of the game. That's not a good thing. If you think otherwise, then I'm not sure how you ever enjoyed the game during retail." Would you like to take the time to work with the players who -still do- enjoy the game, Legacy Retail or otherwise, despite our criticisms and concerns, and communicate with us about how we apparently have a fundamentally different understanding from you and your fellow teammates of where the enjoyment comes from for us in this amazing game? Because; I most certainly do not speak for everyone, but I've long felt we've been on a very different wavelength about what City has to offer in terms of enjoyment and meaning. Probably not in this thread, of course, but maybe you and the Team will consider examining this more closely in the near future? Please?
  18. I think you mean Heavy Weapon / Sandwich Survival Sentinel.
  19. Oh! https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/24368-zone-travel-updates-in-issue-27/ Under the header: "Potential Future Developments"
  20. Remember: Criticism is usually offered from a stance of good faith and appreciation. If people didn't care about the game, or didn't like it at all, they wouldn't be taking the time to express their disappointment and concerns. When someone is upset by something, then we should be embracing their feedback and helping them to express it more clearly, so that everyone can benefit from their thoughts and views. Flipside of that: Please don't ever be insulting when providing critiques. I mean, just don't ever be insulting ever? (To be clear; not saying anyone as being insulting here. Just saying it for completeness' sake.)
  21. I think the Heavy Gunner Resistance also have a couple of animations for such a weapon, no?
  22. If the spawn direction were random, then law of averages suggests that it would likely stay mostly contained in a localized space. At least, in theory. Also, you can target through your pets or your allies' pets. It's a little irksome, but at least it's a temporary workaround until something can be done to fix that.
  23. Just like Titan Weapon is the big version of Broad Sword, I would like to see Heavy Weapon as a big version of Assault Rifle.
