  1. Ah, that's kinda what I thought. In a sentence: Force Fields is a victim of power creep and end game. I'll read the posts. I think folks will have the same ideas I would. Adding some late game actual force field like capability could be a boost. Additional opportunities may exist with Genesis, Mind, Vitae, and/or Omega (these may be a little too late in the game for what @Apparition is saying). Spaghetti on the wall ideas A little +absorb does seem appropriately force field-ish. Maybe some type of action could be done while using personal force field. Something simple like being able to use detention field could be interesting. What might make it really interesting could be one or two late game functions. Being able to totally protect one player from an alpha (short duration, longer recharge) Being able to totally block an alpha from enemies (again, short duration, longer recharge) Adding some +resist to late game damage types Maybe Interface should work something like Force Bubble, or another Maybe Hybrid should wait, no. maybe it needs to do things it doesn't already specialized in. Maybe the high level force fielder is able to start using their power not just to protect but to deal some damage. Damage being added in relation to distance of knockback & knockup would provide additional damage without actually changing force field and could have benefits to other sets as well.

  3. Nope. But I'll double check. Didn't even use that many slots and just stuck with single origin enhancements. oops, sorry, 44.8% not 44.5% at level 19 not level 20, no maneuvers or weave
  4. Let's team up, maybe there are some subtle things I can help with, like 'don't stay in the aoe!' & 'use one purple inspiration before we get into trouble!' Side note: a SR tanker can be at 44.5% positional defense by level 20 without maneuvers or weave.

  6. Again, I'm not saying the suggestions are awful or amazing. I'm interested enough to read, respond and explain how the suggestions are more than minor tweaks. Super Reflexes is what it is. If someone feels it is 'bland and restrictive'.. don't play it.

  13. You may be forgetting you added this power which removed Agile. I am not saying the ideas are bad or good. It's just not Super Reflexes. Trying to take unique sets and generic them to match other sets... well I do take issue with homogeneous sets.

  17. @modest I read you stating you're not changing anything and then see you are suggesting moving 2 powers significantly, removing 3 powers, and then replacing them with 3 new powers. Moving Evasion earlier; 12 levels for Tankers, 24 levels for Brutes, 31 levels for Scappers and Stalkers.. that alone is not a small change. I realize it may have been fun to discuss on discord, but the odds of sweeping changes to an existing power set are not high. AND definitely not just quality of life improvements.
  18. I suspect that this is an attempt at humor, but in case it isn't: What sweeping changes do you see? The powers are the same. The only thing that is changing is the order of the powers to bring them in line with the power progression of every other defense set in the game. The defense values are exactly the same. The defense debuff resistance is exactly the same. The scaling resists are exactly the same. The powers are the same. No, that was not humor. FYI Tankers get the rest of their AOE def at level 18, Brutes get it at 28, Stalkers get it at level 1 in Hide and the 35 out of hide, Scrappers get it at 35. Maybe your concerns are limited to scrappers?
