I do not think you're flat wrong. There are builds out there that do very well and could be competitive. That however, is not the average player. Using SOs.. advantage melee. Using IO sets with T4 incarnates.. the gap closes significantly. Controllers are an example that can benefit greatly from IOs and Incarnates.

it would be nice to have a Trapdoor type mission that didn't have the hatches.. there are some squishies that farm with extreme efficiency. that highly specialized example might be too specific. controllers do well. and.. to the OP The Controller is at the same time the weakest and yet the most powerful of the archetypes. The Controller has few offensive attacks and possesses few hit points. But the Controller has access to a range of powers and abilities that no one else does. Armed with these powers, a Controller can affect the behavior of villains, from freezing them in place, to putting them to sleep, to routing them away. Armed with such abilities, the Controller is the backbone for any super group, but the Controller depends upon their teammates for protection.

that 3 power attack chain while taking very few hits is effective. a bit boring to me, but effective.

I think my favorite level range is 30-35. Do folks have other level ranges that just seem to stand out? Maybe what level range you spend the most time?

Valid point if there were only 3 types of enhancement.. There are at least this many: Training Origin Enhancements Dual-Origin Enhancements Single-Origin Enhancements Prestige Enhancements Hydra Origin Enhancements Crystal Titan Origin Enhancements Hamidon Origin Enhancements Standard Invention Origin Enhancements Invention Origin Enhancement Sets (Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, PvP) Archetype Origin Enhancements (Standard, Superior) Attuned enhancements I do agree about trying not to confuse or overwhelm folks who may be new to the game. That said, it is a big game.

Cash on hand and in email. I've got pretty large sums in bids but don't count that. Base storage is 8 bins full or close. not counting that. Merits, not counting them. Lots of packs, not counting those. Salvage & Convertors, not counting those. Would need to liquidate the assets above to figure them into current amount of infamy, which I stopped counting. Remember, the first billion is the hardest.

So I can expand this to include both launchers and also a PS4 controller. I've had the 'Options > Keymapping > KeyBind Profile' change randomly to Default in the past and had to select Joystick in the dropdown. That does not seem to be the issue at this time. While the controllers work in other programs they do nothing now in Homecoming.

Do we have to add special "Extra Launch Parameters" to get a controller to work with the Homecoming launcher?

Checked controller is working using https://gamepad-tester.com/ and it is working just fine. On homecoming.. no dice. Maybe since the last patch. (hard to say, I assumed incorrectly it was the controller) Logitech 310 & PS2, neither work

just not necessary to go overboard. dp will not need much. we just need enough for our chosen attack chains.

Sure. I would include costume creation as a form of puzzle. Power customization could be. Anytime we are trying to dial in an aspect of the game it could be considered a puzzle. This is part of what makes the game engaging. We can self impose caring about some parts and not others.

If you haven't /EnergyAura'd it is worth strongly considering.

Cimerorans.. do non-damage mitigations count? I like the idea of doing non incarnate content to get a good feel.
