  1. What's wrong, did your ambiguously disabled henchman eat your spider pet?
  2. One time I made an Illusion controller that would copy. as closely as possible, costumes of the mobs I was fighting for himself and the mirror option of his Decoys. I used it on a couple of TFs - Manti and Cit - and got yelled at by pretty much everyone on the team, because they were trying to hit me and my decoys. I quickly changed the whole Toon's concept after that. Prismatic costumes are like that, only the costumes are more exact. Having repeatedly had people in CoT costumes on Posi, or Freakshow costumes on Yin, I now understand the annoyance that I created. Only these people paid at least 150 Prismatic Aethers to be annoying.
  3. You forgot that you also need reds, yellows and then 1 blue at the end.
  4. A city that looks like an actual place where people live and work. Gas stations, parks, single family homes, Drive Thrus, a variety of stores and businesses that aren't just the same 4 or 5 placards stuck on the front of a generic building. Some of the stuff they did towards the end started to get there - the hospital and bank in Praetoria, the area around Mirror Spirit in FF. Still nowhere near enough. The city needs to look like a city, and not like a bunch of cardboard buildings someone set up to play a game in.
  5. It was fun at first, when it was a standard MMO style system. Once they went "Free to Play" (AKA pay for every single thing in the game just to be able to play at a basic level.) it sucked. Haven't been back in years, and they're more than welcome to any character names. Sadly, like the Marvel ARPG MMO, there will never be free bootleg servers of the game that fix major issues, because of the IP's involved.
  6. NTBAD but if they had the manpower to redo TF's then Synapse, Citadel and Manticore would probably already have been redone. Post probably belongs in the "Suggestions and Feedback" forum, where it can hang out with all of the other ideas that will never, ever get implemented. Unfortunate, but realistic.
  7. Going by the giant coin that Blue Steel stands in front of, it was founded in 1823...So I guess the 200 year anniversary is coming up soon.
  8. IDK about the nuke, but from reading the descriptions, the stationary, slow build of the powers is going to make it about as useful in the current game as Traps. Good during something like an MSR, Nemesis invasion, or maybe even the final Reichsman fight. Aside from that, by the time this set accomplishes anything, the rest of the team will be at the end of the mission.
  9. Some people are actually trying to play the game and enjoy the experience. The playstyle you're describing is the absolute opposite of what I'm interested in. If I'm playing, I'm playing...not trying to rush, rush, rush to the next reward. If I have other things to do, I go do them. Honestly the MUSTSPEEDGOFASTNOWGETMERITSDINGRATADINGRATZDINGRATZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is somrthing I absolutely hate. I hate farming too, but at leastthey're off in their own space doing their own things. The GOTTAGOFAST!!!!!1111!!1!11!!!!!1!!!!!! people getting on teams with me annoys the #$%^ out of me. I don't join any TF that is advertised as "Speed" and if someone joins one that was not advertised as such, I would expect that, out of common courtesy and respect for other players, that they would not treat it as such.
  10. If we could buy the jump pack you get from the KR safeguard mission, I'd do that on about half my characters.
  11. The speed and damage characters are capable of is not matched by the content. We can essentially ignore the mechanics for things like Hami, and a group that's half AFK can steamroll an MSR. Short of hardcapping damage, recharge and -res/regen buffs to about 50% of their current values, this is the meta of the game and likely to stay that way. I realize they can, and have, added harder modes, but there's only so many of those they're going to be able to create.
  12. Truck also means to have a close association or connection with. As in "I don't truck with no April babies. They ain't slotted and don't know their AoE's from their ST DoTs"
  13. Yes, the 3 ST attacks are fine, especially when you consider that against AV's and other hard targets that tend to remain stationary, Ignite already is effectively an ST dot. Stripping out its other functionality isn't make it any better or the set any more effective. Along with the beanbag change, this entirely strips any mitigation out of the set. AR wasn't meant to be a clone of every other set, but something to have more tools and utility. Genericing it into another set with Aim and an ST dot is, IMO, a terrible decision.
  14. Please do not do this. I use this power to do numerous things the new power wouldn't do: Control where mobs stand and move, ignite my oil slick, throw it into the doorway in the Terra Volta reactor or similar places where mobs jam themselves up. This also strips the set of some of its AoE. I have enough ST damage, leave ignite alone and let us use it as intended.
  15. Saying that is like saying "People have always eaten sugar" There's a difference between moderation and sensible use of something, and gluttony to the point of killing yourself. And the comics industry has already pretty much killed itself -look at the sales of Manga vs US comics - and the entertainment industry pretty much did the same. The New Warriors from the 90s and the proposed reboot with Snowflake and Safespace both had left leaning political messages. One of them was a decent series, one of them got laughed off the publication schedule. When you take things to extremes, things collapse.
  16. Click the whole tray, every fight, every time. Doesn't matter what's in there, or what the fight is, just click them. Except for the rezzes, those get deleted right away.
  17. IMO they should only add them if they add a new and more difficult content for them. Just adding them in with only what's already there seems like just overkill.
  18. A KB and damage field on every vehicle, varying in intensity based on the vehicle - a small one for cars, very big for tanks...and an especially large one around helicopter blades.
  19. However if you're running a second account and just dragging a second character along with you, Ice/Time is amazing. Cast jack, put the heal on auto, Run the toggles, every so often switch over and click the ST and AoE buffs, drag the character into melee with you. It's Super Effective.
  20. Honestly, given that both are rarely played even when they're the WST, likely given the abundance of AV's, etc. in both and especially the fact that they require more than the normal steamroll style of playing, they certainly should both be worth more. Kahn should be worth 40 at a minimum, and Barracuda worth at least 50. I'm basing the number on the fact that Numina, the MLTF and LGTF, all of which are far less of a pain, award 36/37 merits.
  21. I don't really see where the "bad time" comes in. So you couldn't speed through the content and actually had to use your travel powers, know where things are in the game and fight the mobs in the missions? I've had much worse times on TFs where it wasn't advertised as speed, everyone runs off in their own directions, squishies die a lot, people run off to objectives while everyone else is fighting...yeah, those are bad times. Your sounds like what a TF was actually intended as.
  22. Electric/Electric Stalker. Probably my most played character and just an unholy torrent of AoE damage. Goes great with Ion Judgement, too.
  23. If it were just a new mission arc, I'd say the Mirror-Self arc in Talos is one of my favorites. But I'm of the opinion that standard mission arcs should be designed for solo play, and team content, like TFs, are another thing entirely. For team content, personally I'd make it short, 3 - 4 missions like about Penelope Yin's TF size. However I'd make most of the missions kill alls of objective-dense so that it's something that can't be turned into another "Speed Run". We have enough missions in the game where 90% of the content can be raced through, make something that actually has to be played to be completed.
  24. Yeah, I also quit in the early 90s for partially the same reason - also the constant gimmicks (Pointless crossovers, the same few characters appearing in every comic, events, events and more events, reboots, die-cut holographic foil covers and raising the price way above what was reasonable) That said, these tropes, heroes vs heroes (Spidey fought with the FF in first 1st issue of all things) and opposite heroes (Sabretooth, Sinestro, Bizarro, Abomination, Reverse Flash, Tarantula, Venom, and Earth 3) have been going on forever. They're just a staple of the genre. Hell - even our own Praetoria is just an Earth 3 pastiche. Honestly, the worsts things about the MCU for me are stuff that [probably is disallowed as it would fall under "political discussion". Also, the list in the OP is wrong because every slot from 1 - 20 should just be "Flash Thompson".
