That Fir Bolg mission is a kill-all, just with a twist. You can speed things along by going out into the field to hunt stationary mobs once you've stopped a spawn from rushing the henge. Keep defeating for a few minutes while constantly keeping a vigilant eye for movement to the henge. When you see them moving, drop whatever you're doing and deal with them before they reach the objective. Repeat and until eventually, the mission ends.

No, Katie isn't needed for the Story Teller accolade. That tf is needed for Geas but that's a whole other matter. If you have the Story Teller accolade but not the 20 merits, that's pretty surprising. Have you checked for Story Teller? You can also go to Ouro to see if the game considers you not to have complete one (or more) of the 4 main Croatoa contacts.

I think the Wiki is wrong to include Percy as needed for Story Teller (and the accompanying 20 merits). His is a short, simple arc that gives a badge and 7 merits for not a lot of effort so I always include him after finishing the 4 main Croatoa contacts, but I'm 99% sure I get the accolade and merits after finishing Buck's missions before starting Percy's.

When I do this (farm these 2 missions for a lowbie) I just grab whatever I have that has good aoe and that I'd like to run a couple of missions with. This could be a dominator, a tank, a brute, a blaster, anything that mows down masses. I certainly wouldn't make a build for this. That seems significantly more annoying (imo, of course) to do than simply entering the mission with 2 columns of yellows and 3 columns of purples.

While doing some converter roulette I stumbled up Commanding Presence's Taunt/Placate resist piece. While checking its price I was more than a little surprised to see the activity: Not a lot of activity by any means (5 sales [that I could see] in 6 days) but I'd expect that number to be 0. Who among you is willing to raise their hand and say "I slot this" and if I may ask, why? What are you encountering that makes this useful? I seem to encounter taunt more than placate but frankly I tend to prioritize taunters anyway and even then not so frequently that I feel a need to resist the taunt duration.

The Geneva Convention makes it a war crime to target medical personnel and I for one am not looking to face trial in The Hague so that's why I leave them be.

On the rare occasion I'm chasing a specific piece within a set, I don't ever stop converting. If anything, a long losing streak is fuel to see just how long the streak can last.

I'm guessing (and it's just a guess) that KC is referring to Translocation. Mystic Flight has become my "go-to" over the last year because of the combo fly + tp. Fly when I want to hit the "r" button and refill my drink or use translocation if I'm active. Unfortunately the universal sets don't increase the tp range (like with the teleport pool), but your global bonuses do.

The "display bug" has been fixed for quite some time, coming up on years now. As for players yoinking low ask prices with lowball bids, although I'm not active in the market sometimes I see something too good to pass up and I'll nab a few pieces at the low prices, so yes, people can grab desirable items at low prices, regardless of belief.

I'll ping you in the JST Discord with the Stalker I shared about 6 weeks ago.

Right, the 4 fitness powers: Hurdle Swift Health Stamina are all automatically included in your build at level 1. You don't need to choose the powers but you can choose how you want to slot them. Regarding tier 9s: Primary tier 9s are available at 26 now. Secondary tier 9s are available at 30.
-
Stamina and all other Health pool powers are automatic for everyone, starting at level 1. The new availability for primary and secondary picks is a huge boon for MMs. IMO probably moreso than any other AT.

What's funny about the timed missions to prevent farming is that that's no longer applicable. You can do your farming, exit, abandon, repeat.

I've got a Poison at 50 (t4d, etc etc) for each of the 4 ATs that offer it. I kind of dig it but OP's points are fair. I do think VG is just that good but it does take a strong build to make the most of it. I imagine a ride with just SOs would be rough. One major complaint is both thematic and for game play - no meaningful -regen. Envenom, 50% (looks like it's the same for all ATs). The temp power Envenom Daggers is 5x that! (to preempt the "well akshully" crew, yes the duration for Poison's power is longer and can be slotted for acc). But hey, at least you're not playing a Poison MM, where the VG analog (Noxious Gas) has a 300 second base recharge and 20 second duration.

Cut the filler from the Synapse TF (spoilers)

"Cost of entry" for Invader, huh? There's no cost other than being redside. I get it at level 1 for all my non-Praetorian characters, not even remotely complicated. -
I've never had mark and recall fail to bring an escort EXCEPT on a team, if when freed, the hostage attaches to another teammate that isn't able to M&R. They can turn on stealth or run away to break the leash but that requires teammates that understand, well, any of that. Good luck. In the Guide section here I've written up a little something to rate tip missions for speed. For level 40-50 I've come to really appreciate the rogue version of the one with Kelly Uqua in the title. The door is in the same spot always, the Crey building in Grandville, which just so happens to be about 20 yards from the SG portal. It's best to knock it out in the 20-40 range while you're leveling up though. There are some real easy missions you can stock up on at once, like 30-40 rogue tips in PO. To the OP topic, I have long told anyone willing to listen that I would be content to have a page update titled "escorts are no longer stupid" that has nothing else but a change to follow AI where every escort flawlessly follows you over ramps, through caves, around corners, everything. If nothing else, I'd love to see Mr. Yin's follow code propagated to other non-combat NPCS. He's the best of the bunch.

Efficiency Expert Pither has outdated/erroneous text in his description

I don't recall ever being able to autocomplete timed missions and I've had some characters that I took from 1-50 solely by autocompleting missions (it takes a few years) and when I get a timed mission I just let it run out, which you won't be able to do to succeed at acquiring this badge. -
I really dig my fire/mental blaster. It does whatever a blaster can.

It seems like there's something else at work than attacks. I base that on how when you go to another floor, pets are inactive for a bit. Usually this doesn't come into play because the new floor after taking a vator is enemy free at the entry. For mayhem missions though, when you do the jail breakout and go to the second floor, pets just stand doing absolutely jack all while you get walloped by the boss at the door. It may only be 3-5 seconds but that's an eternity. I could give an attack command but that takes me out of BG at a time when I most need it.

I'd love it if someone could analyze Nosferatu's AI. I fought him as an AV once and cleared the floor (Crey lab) first thing because I knew he was a runner. When I engaged he punched a time or 2 then never again, he spent the entire fight running. I'm being very literal here, he did not attack at all This was with a MM and I'm pretty sure it was a /Cold (maybe Storm) so debuff and dot heavy but again, my point isn't that he ran a lot, it's that all he did was run.

PVP zones have stores that sell very limited duration temp powers, like jump packs and flight packs. When I say limited I mean on the order of like 30 seconds. I've found that to be sufficient for my non-flyers to get all the explore badges. Just letting you know those badges are attainable without getting ported to them.
