I've got a Poison at 50 (t4d, etc etc) for each of the 4 ATs that offer it. I kind of dig it but OP's points are fair. I do think VG is just that good but it does take a strong build to make the most of it. I imagine a ride with just SOs would be rough. One major complaint is both thematic and for game play - no meaningful -regen. Envenom, 50% (looks like it's the same for all ATs). The temp power Envenom Daggers is 5x that! (to preempt the "well akshully" crew, yes the duration for Poison's power is longer and can be slotted for acc). But hey, at least you're not playing a Poison MM, where the VG analog (Noxious Gas) has a 300 second base recharge and 20 second duration.

Cut the filler from the Synapse TF (spoilers)
Hedgefund replied to Psi-bolt's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
"Cost of entry" for Invader, huh? There's no cost other than being redside. I get it at level 1 for all my non-Praetorian characters, not even remotely complicated. -
I've never had mark and recall fail to bring an escort EXCEPT on a team, if when freed, the hostage attaches to another teammate that isn't able to M&R. They can turn on stealth or run away to break the leash but that requires teammates that understand, well, any of that. Good luck. In the Guide section here I've written up a little something to rate tip missions for speed. For level 40-50 I've come to really appreciate the rogue version of the one with Kelly Uqua in the title. The door is in the same spot always, the Crey building in Grandville, which just so happens to be about 20 yards from the SG portal. It's best to knock it out in the 20-40 range while you're leveling up though. There are some real easy missions you can stock up on at once, like 30-40 rogue tips in PO. To the OP topic, I have long told anyone willing to listen that I would be content to have a page update titled "escorts are no longer stupid" that has nothing else but a change to follow AI where every escort flawlessly follows you over ramps, through caves, around corners, everything. If nothing else, I'd love to see Mr. Yin's follow code propagated to other non-combat NPCS. He's the best of the bunch.

Efficiency Expert Pither has outdated/erroneous text in his description
Hedgefund replied to Voltor's topic in Bug Reports
I don't recall ever being able to autocomplete timed missions and I've had some characters that I took from 1-50 solely by autocompleting missions (it takes a few years) and when I get a timed mission I just let it run out, which you won't be able to do to succeed at acquiring this badge. -
I really dig my fire/mental blaster. It does whatever a blaster can.

It seems like there's something else at work than attacks. I base that on how when you go to another floor, pets are inactive for a bit. Usually this doesn't come into play because the new floor after taking a vator is enemy free at the entry. For mayhem missions though, when you do the jail breakout and go to the second floor, pets just stand doing absolutely jack all while you get walloped by the boss at the door. It may only be 3-5 seconds but that's an eternity. I could give an attack command but that takes me out of BG at a time when I most need it.

I'd love it if someone could analyze Nosferatu's AI. I fought him as an AV once and cleared the floor (Crey lab) first thing because I knew he was a runner. When I engaged he punched a time or 2 then never again, he spent the entire fight running. I'm being very literal here, he did not attack at all This was with a MM and I'm pretty sure it was a /Cold (maybe Storm) so debuff and dot heavy but again, my point isn't that he ran a lot, it's that all he did was run.

PVP zones have stores that sell very limited duration temp powers, like jump packs and flight packs. When I say limited I mean on the order of like 30 seconds. I've found that to be sufficient for my non-flyers to get all the explore badges. Just letting you know those badges are attainable without getting ported to them.

My for real answer is apes boss - gorilla lieuts - orangutans minions - 2 chimps, 1 bonobo Obviously inspired by one of Marvel's great MMs - the Red Ghost.

Avatar Smasher, the badge for completing that mission without the NPC help, also grants 11% hybrid. I always make sure to get Dimensional Investigator on a fresh 50 (did it today on a one day old 50) though I tend to not get Avatar Smasher asap because I hold onto this mission for my crew to do as a group so everyone gets the drop.

This contact requires the Lorekeeper history badge to unlock and start that mission. If you were able to begin this by switching to villain and didn't acquire Lorekeeper, that's the real bug.

I think controllers are going to have to get used to pets needing to be put in aggressive mode or given direct orders to attack a target. Looking at your pet menu Phantasm is in defensive/follow mode (default) so won't attack unless attacked or ordered to do so.

Why I want the ability to ignore entire topics
Hedgefund replied to srmalloy's topic in General Discussion
I'm not even British but seeing Acaster & Ramesh = bad while Jimmy Carr = good made me realize there exists an exact opposite of my own sense of humor out there in the world. As for the original request the scroll functionality works just fine for me. I read about 10%, max, of all threads anyway so these "parodies" just are more to not click. -
The Crimson Prototype has a lot of -maxHP in its attacks. You can look through them here: https://cod.uberguy.net./html/powerset.html?pset=skyraiders.sky_raider_crimson&at=boss_monstrosity It looks like -maxHP lasts 30 seconds for each source. I didn't click each power so there may be exceptions. As to "is this intended?" it's been this way since the first MC I ever did. Sometimes, a big beefy tank just gets got in this encounter. As your teammates mentioned, it happens.

Like Singularity, pulling mobs in. I haven't spent any time with it so I don't know first-hand. The feedback I've seen has been positive.

Not too long ago I finished the level 30-39 villain tips for vigilantes. I gave 5 minutes to putzing around to edit the appropriate section to insert new rows and that's all the time I'm willing to give. So instead of editing the above I'll just add a new post with these particular tips. This isn't a great series of tips so I certainly wouldn't use these for farming Multifaceted, but in the interest of completeness, here it is: Level Band: 30-40 Alignment Villain for Vigalantes Name Score Notes A Strange Mystical Trinket 2 unintuitive talk-to, defeat boss, defeat other boss Warm Brass and Cold Bodies 3 free boss, escort to objective, click, boss turns on you Proper Documents 6 defeat boss click glowy, (nem smipers) An Intelligence Leak 6 crey lab defeat boss, glowy, defeat boss A Tattered Flyer 6 defeat mob (lt), defeat boss, talk, defeat boss talk An Unlisted Number 2 free NPC, ambush, 4 objects to destroy, ambush on last one, defeat boss, talk to him An Unreturned Call 5 free boss, defeat him, free other npc, 3 ambushes, defeat boss, Cherry Red Lipstick 8 defeat boss, talk-to, talk-to then defeat other npc, click computer Old Fashioned Detective Work 1 free boss, defeat other boss, back to first boss to fight, back to defeated boss. He despawned so couldn't complete You Get Hit in the Face 7 defeat sky dragon, defeat ambush, find NPC who turns hostile to defeat, destroy object Morality - collapsing ideals 6 talk to npc, defeat boss, talk to npc, defeat overdrive

All of mine are active but I do think that TA gives a MM the most to do. Something is ALWAYS available. Most powers have effects that replace the prior version so spamming isn't needed but things recharge quickly enough you can deal with ambushes or whatever surprise. Storm is also hella active and if you're into controllers you may well dig it. Dark is also troller-y.

Mark and Recall absolutely, 100% does work on Katie mission 2. I've done this many times since this new accolade was published, very satisfying with teammates telling me (at first) that it doesn't work (because it does). The link in the post 6 messages above corroborates this. I'm guessing what happened to the above poster was that Amy "attached" to another teammate. This is the biggest risk to successful M&R usage. I urge my teammates to pull the fight away from the hostage and I stand right beside the NPC to minimize the risk of someone else getting "attached".

The gunslinger will have his spiel if he sees you. If you're fully pve-invis he won't. What I've taken to doing is just being seen by a gunslinger to see if he talks or not. If no, just move on. Defeating the Titan, by the way, is NOT a requirement. The wiki merely mentions him as a "notable NPC" not an objective. I always leave him alone if I'm speeding.

Is Infiltration (Stealth Pool) & Celerity +Stealth IO enough?
Hedgefund replied to Story Archer's topic in General Discussion
Just fyi, some of the Demons have a debuff/damage aura and will aggro mobs even if invis and on passive mode. -
Grifters gonna grift. I enjoyed T-bolts. I kept expecting Sentry to make an inspiring speech about repelling an alien invasion. No paternity test needed to see he's Bill Pullman's son. B+ from me on the MCU scale.
