  1. It was pretty fun, even when facing three groups at once that had bosses either running hurricane and dropping freezing rain/snowstorm or running lightning field and sapping endurance while complimented by minions that shot out swarms of bees and lieutenants stacking trip mines all over.
  2. They both are so it would make sense to include. I didn't have time to fully think up all the powers that behaved like that as I was at work in a conference room waiting for some clients to show up (that want to make a drive thru coffee shed) when I posted.
  3. Might be worthwhile for a +4 freakspec, its been awhile.
  4. I just casually mentioned The Last Starfighter to someone at work today, and I see this post tonight. What are the odds?
  5. Carnival for forge?
  6. You could use go-to commands then to force them to go to where you want them.
  7. There's several powers in the game that allows or requires an ally to be an anchor for the power to function. Of the powers I named in the tags, noxious Gas has a 30-foot range, disruption field has a 70-foot range, and shifting tides has a 80-foot range. These powers detoggle when the player and anchor exceed their power ranges. Honestly I feel these distances should be equalized myself. But the real hassle is many missions have multiple floors, and the way the game works is the floors are spread out horizontally and the elevators essentially teleport players to different sections of the map. Anytime a player or anchor uses an elevator these ally anchor powers break due to range issues. What if these types of powers could have some sort of short duration, 10 seconds or so, that would keep the power active if an actor and player using the power are separated until they are reunited and back in the powers range before dropping. This kind of effect would likely eliminate any kind of toggle drops due to elevators or maybe even mission doors for masterminds, or pet using controllers, and greatly diminish the frequency of toggle drops when the power is used on other players. To me this seems like a potential QoL style improvement to the functionality of these types of powers.
  8. Glancing over even the second build, it looks like an improvement over the first but still a bunch more work that can be done. Tactics for instance, I'd recommend three slots total, 2 lvl 53 Cytoskeleton enhancements (kinda spendy) + 1 Gaussian Proc, or 6 Gaussian IOs (if you wanna build for defense), otherwise 5 adjusted targeting and 1 Gaussian Proc (if you want more recharge). Pet wise I like to include the soul bound proc somewhere and then give my pets 4 slot expedient reinforcement for the 6.25% recharge bonuses (you being a rad emission toon, it's practical to get Accelerate Metabolism to be permanent up), and then slot a bunch of the pet res/def procs in there. Maneuvers I would 4 slot as: LoTG 7.5, kismet: accuracy (it actually provides tohitbuff which works better than straight accuracy), and two lvl 50+5 Gladiator Armors Def and Def/End, if you have extra slots a third Gladiator Armor for the +res proc, and a reactive defense +res proc can help you out. I saw that you don't like using mids, but it comes in pretty handy for keeping track of set bonuses or building towards specific benchmarks. As an alternative you can use COD and Microsoft Excel to keep track of set bonuses manually, or with enough time in your head. My IO recommendations would change based on whatever build goals you have. Playing the toon at lvl 50, you'll get a decent amount of influence, and doing story arcs, task forces, Hami raids, etc a decent amount of reward merits that you can use to fund your toon, or you can use the market but that takes a little practice to get good at making a profit there. Overall for a Robo/Rad MM I'd expect to invest about 350-400 million influence in a finished build. You don't need to spend that much by any means but it's up to you how you want to play. Additionally for your end issues, slot a musculature radial alpha power. You'll get more damage out of your bots, end mod, and defense debuff to help your rad infection. Don't forget the stat boosting accolades like Atlas, portal jockey, etc. I have 4 different robot MMs at 50, and 3 different rad emission characters currently at 50 on HC, so if you want I'm willing to give you further advice. Overall there's a lot of good points in this thread.
  9. I have several necro MM's (probably my favorite MM primary), always swap to follow mode and wait a couple seconds to activate soul extraction, to make sure they are in range, then back to business. It's sad when you're so far ahead of your pets if you pop it I've had only 1 or 2 before, and you feel that you wasted it. A little patience to let them get in range goes a long way (especially on Marine so you can ensure you have shifting tides on a grave knights, power of the depths, and toririal bubble everyone).
  10. I have a DA/SS tanker. And I will never skip rage on an SS toon. You can use temps during rage crash or dark Regen. Stack handclap with oppressive gloom for stun locking tons of incoming damage.
  11. I usually slot it for heals to boost the Regen aspect or to chase ranged or recharge bonuses. I don't often find much need for slotting it for end mod because it provides a stacking 75% end mod buff per mob you hit for 30 seconds, which is usually more than sufficient as I pop it off in melee while surrounded.
  12. BG3 was awarded the coveted Game of the Decade Award by me.
  13. I fully agree with @Frosticus here. Dominators are significantly better when you have perma domination (which is being able to get domination recharged before it expires). I'll add that for epic pool whether Ancillary or Patron, I strongly recommend Ice Mastery be considered as each power in the set is useful for a dominator.
  14. I took a quick look and I didn't spend much time but here's a few thoughts without changing powers on you save mutation... You can safely lose mutation and the 3 slots there, most people don't die, if you take choking cloud that's another layer to your melee defense that you are using world of confused for, sure it might hold a confused mob but that only ensures you get more xp/influence. if someone dies, there's a temporary power to resuscitate them or an inspiration. Your non set iOS slotted are SO's, replace those with +5 lvl 50 generic IOs for more effectiveness. The PvP IOs in Dominate don't really give you the greatest set bonuses, I don't think you'll have much use for 11 mag of KB protection as 8 is usually enough, rocket council is gonna do rocket council things regardless if you have 8 or 11 points. I would take most the slots from dominate and redistribute to ensure you add 2 +5 lvl 50 gladiator armors in mind over body to get you to 75% S/L and boost your psi res higher, and ensure you have 3 slots in Rad Infection (1 Achilles proc, and 2 lvl 53 Enzymes) as that added debuff is essential and further increases your survivability. Your build shows AM perma with about 8 seconds overlap, and Hasten perma with about 1.8 seconds overlap, and ranged defense over 45% without Agility (you could swap it to say musculature radial for more damage and debuff).
  15. Right click on the incarnate power and select add to power tray.
  16. Need an executive summary as reading 12 paragraphs is quite the chore given time demands. Sure traps could use some work to speed up placement to be able to keep up with a team.
  17. Reminder note to check it out tonight. I'll aim to get you feedback within a couple days.

The HC wiki is usually pretty updated as @Michiyo runs a tight ship over there. The Paragon Wiki is how it was at the end of live, and the Fandom one is just cloned garbage with extra ads.
  19. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. Its been in my wishlist since 2019 and still not out yet. Perhaps one day, as they changed developers and publishers a while back (I'm in their discord wondering when the hell it's going to get finished).
  20. It also doesn't help much that I've literally never heard of it until this post and I'm a pretty avid gamer with hundreds of games in my steam catalog. Was their advertising budget $19.95?
  21. I personally like to have multiple types of damage types on a toon, so if I hit a brick wall, I can still knock the damn thing over.
  22. Laptop? Could be a heat issue that you need to replace dried out thermal paste. Or blowing out your fans, dust and debris can actually build up and stop them. If a GPU fan isn't working correctly, it can make almost any game unplayable or a slideshow until the computer builds up enough heat.thatnit starts closing down. To get an idea, you could install MSI afterburner, and monitor your GPU's heat as you try and play games.
  23. I honestly thought the post was headed south when I saw the word PUG in the thread title. All these years @Snarky's posts have given me a crimson colored lense to see the world through and made me a bit more cynical (although I was already largely there being a combat vet and all).
  24. SR and DM are both better on a tanker IMO. It's far easier to get your positional defense up, shadow maul gets a huge arc, and you'll get better tohit/tohit debuff values as well. It potentially would free you up to add in more offensive procs to help boost your burst damage some.
  25. I have a stone/stone stalker that is a former golden gloves boxer that didn't fix a fight. He ended up getting beaten to near death and blinded by the Family. They dumped his body in Eden where his body was partially converted by the Devouring Earth. He stalks the socks and hits the family back with some heavy stone hands.
