  1. Not going to happen. If you want more xp, farm on a low pop servers with ruined city map like in the old days. I personally am not a fan of reducing xp/influence in AE myself, or getting rid of the option to get double influence for shutting xp off (that happened many years ago), but we live with it. One of the benefits to it taking longer to farm a 50, is that more often than not you get more very rare and PvP enhancement recipes to drop which actually can be a net increase of influence over what it used to be. As far as leeches in LFG or other channels, add them to your ignore list.
  2. Doc Buzzsaw identifies as a circular saw....
  3. This suggestion has been requested several times before, even including using the name Commander, however it failed to gain any significant traction.
  4. A solution to the MDC in the bowl is to run an instanced raid and say you'll boot people that summon them. Does a targeting macro by name only select Hami buds that can be killed? I guess I've never tried as well typically just rain down enough AoE that they all die within about a minute anyways. I personally haven't noticed many people keeping them out during raids (on Everlasting), mostly just while we're waiting for the raid to start. Perhaps your Raid Leaders can ask people to dismiss them?
  5. It's a little difficult to understand what you're after given the sentence fragment paired with another thought. Fire farming you want 90% fire resistance and a minimum of 45% fire defense. In general content fire is probably around the 5th or so most common damage type, while smashing, lethal, energy are easily the top three. Depending on what content you run though the results can vary. Fire armor was designed originally to be a resistance based tank with a quick heal and more damage to help mitigate incoming damage by killing faster. Given that I like to ensure that you have substantial slow resistance (luckily this is accomplished by slotting winter IOs that you likely slot for the added fire defense they provide), and have a decent amount of recharge to ensure maximal usage of healing flame and consume. If you're able to have a decent positional defense as well that can be useful, but be advised that fire armor doesn't have native DDR so your defense is extremely susceptible to defense debuffs. Also you'll want to include IOs to provide KB protection given that fire armor only gets 1 mag protection with temperature protection. As far as builds go, I'd suggest trying to make one yourself. Otherwise there's quite a few rad/fire brute builds available on the forums if you search for them that you can compare what you get. You can post your build here along with the goals you have, what kind of content you plan to run and at what difficulty and we can provide you with some tips as necessary.
  6. As someone that has soloed the Moonfire TF with a Warshade. I'm all for Arakhn getting forms to swap into, just so that she's not always in human form running an OP Inky Aspect. That stun is for real when you have no inherent mez protection and can only bring 20 breakfrees and base buffs.
  7. Man I wish we could use fort on ourselves. I need to try the server this AI is playing on.
  8. My bare bones defensive toggle slotting is usually an attuned LOTG 7.5% and two +5 Shield walls (def and def/end). As others have said when slotting defensive powers, enhancing end reduction, and recharge (especially for things like Far Sight). Also defensive powers like far sight, invincibility, mindlink, etc. slotting some tohitbuff is useful too.
  9. I am one of the few who play with multiple builds and build swap macros and I wish it didn't pop a CD on things like TT, ATT and the like but I can live with it. I have 4 characters that I use with 3 builds a piece, and I haven't no objections to allowing the max number of builds to expand, however I see it as a low priority suggestion. +1.
  10. I keep one set of each PvP IO as attuned versions that I reuse for toons as they level. Once that toon gets to 50, I unslot them, stick them back in the base and reslot lvl 50+5 versions of the same PvP IO back in place to get the maximum value. Since the non-attuned PvP IOs exemp down, the sets of stunned ones I have only serve my low level toons.
  11. Step one is roll a new character. Step two is get to the appropriate minimum level or higher for them. Step three is talk to the contact and accept the arc. Step four is run the missions it gives you Step five is roll a new character and don't again.
  12. Every time I've played a Hardcore game when the character dies. It's dead. That said I've been reading comics for going on 40 years now, and I've seen more than my share of characters die and get resurrected via all sorts of means such as multi versal events, time travel, magic, healing tears, getting dragged back out of hell, etc. Due to that playing an Ironman run in a superhero game doesn't make much sense as characters tend not to stay dead. I mean look at the Death and Return of Superman from 1993 for example.
  13. This is what I was thinking. I mean most teams of veteran players would of realized that someone hospitalized and would checkfire DPS until you got back in.
  14. In that case @Snarky is good to go for a couple of centuries as he gives out quite a few blood borne pathogens.
  15. I'm guilty of having owned this album back in 98. My old garage band at the time learned a few songs off that album: The Kids Aren't Alright, Why Don't You Get A Job, and Pretty Fly For A White Guy. That was back when I was lvl 14.
  16. Hello Invincibility. It does the same thing. That's fine, but as @twozerofoxtrot is getting at, there's not much that's going to kill you with the buffs. Especially if you're on a team and running barrier cycles. Solo the maybe the radial piece is better if you're soloing ITF's with lots of stacking defense debuffs, but you'll be in good shape anyways with the high resistances. Adding damage will help you kill mobs especially solo quicker. https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Purple_Patch If you're using it as a mule oh well, but its pretty unreliable as you know. Its hard to suggest anything without knowing what powers you have.
  17. 70 random IO's have been gifted to strangers in Atlas, Mercy, Peregrine Island, Grandville, and Pocket D on Everlasting. Now I have room I can start crafting more.
  18. I kinda wish it would allow us to target teammates as well. Figure it could help out an ally being overwhelmed by white capping to them easy and knock anything down around it or just a lazy means of getting closer to them for whatever reason.
  19. Like Pete Rose, I've only ever bet on myself.
  20. Now that I have 3,000 posts, I'm basically guaranteed to get into the Homecoming Hall of Fame when I retire. To celebrate, I'm going to randomly give away a bunch of IOs tonight on Everlasting. So make sure you don't have your enhancements full tonight because you never know if you'll end up with a Winter IO, Tempest, a Steadfast, a Ghost Widow's Embrace, an ATO, or something else. Time frame will be approximately 10pm EST tonight, but the zone shall be random, and there will be no in-game advertisement, just me sitting IOs in random people's pockets.
  21. That's next level there. I didn't even think to try and put shifting tides on barrier reef. I've been putting it only on my grave knights.
  22. Minnesota.... Here's the website: https://www.spam.com/museum
  23. As someone who's been to the Spam Museum in Austin, MN, the spam posts do Spam a great injustice. Luckily our Hawaiian friends are great at cooking up spam.
  24. I typically don't publicly release builds, but I'm available to help give you tips. I can go over building characters in mids via dm or discord or such with you if you need. There's a plenty of different ways to build the sets, but having played quite a lot of necro, I like to build it to support it in melee. That said marine has a lot of aoes, and a self teleport that brings you into your target. The only power that works better at range is the cone heal. If you're operating in melee you'll want some kb protection so you don't get knocked all around. Otherwise I really like @Crysis's idea for foldspace quite a bit as it brings more fuel into the fire so I may actually respec to swap travel powers and then sneak foldspace in. I'll probably play around a bit more before I commit to putting in foldspace though.
  25. Glad is worked although its not a perfect fix.
