  1. Potentially 4 procs per minute, not per second. Chain powers the formula looks at how many targets the chain can hit, the activation of the power, the base recharge of the power, and the recharge of your enhancements. The more links in the chain or more recharge in your slotting will reduce the likelihood of the proc. Chain lightning has a base 20 second recharge and max of 16 targets, that results in a base chance to trigger of approximately 14.21%. if you have say 50 recharge slotted then it becomes 9.77%, or 7.61% at 98% recharge. Chains as a bit tricky to calculate though so I hope my math is accurate.
  2. I personally find World of Confusion pretty lackluster as it's radius is only 8 feet, whereas Artic Air's is 25. I'd much rather consider either going primal for power boost to enhance Wild Growth/Bastion/Overgrowth. Or perhaps Leviathan to get Waterspout to use on the immobilized targets for some self damage. The thing about the confuses that is counter productive is all your ice effects slow the mobs recharge, and ice slick knocks them on their ass along with the holds also negating their damage to each other. I would work in Clarion radial to act as a power boost in conjunction with power boost for upping your long lasting click buffs. Clarion will also resolve most mez issues. Rune of Power can still be taken to give you more resistance when necessary though. I'd probably also boost that with melee core for the extra resistance per mob nearby since given artic air you'll be playing in melee a lot.
  3. I find 4 is usually alright if your hovering, but I do prefer to have 8 maybe more out of habit than anything. Luckily there's quite a few slotting options to get KB protection (karma, steadfast,. blessing of the zephyr, kinetic crash, and fury of the gladiator). Usually I'm able to toss either a spare slot for def/res to do either the steadfast or karma and fit a blessing in there. I find with 8 or more about the only thing knocking ya around is when Recluse uses Spider Strike or Suppression.
  4. I'm a big fan of darkest night on a tank. I just built an ice/spines over the last week or so that has it to mainly stack the -damage with chilling embrace, but the tohitdebuff is nice too given that it also helps your teammates. Another benefit of darkest night is that it causes some decent agro though. I usually give it a lvl 53 Enzyme or two of if I have the spare slot. I don't run the power continuously but it's nice to have on especially if you over agro at the start of a fight. p.s. speaking of which that Ice Spines turned out to be an absolute beast. I didn't even plan for it but was softcapping s/l/e/n from yin (almost from poai 2) and up, so it made exemplaring for the low level TFs a breeze. Otherwise at high end I've had him taunting mitos with capped HP and running +4/8 DA missions. I'm glad I rolled it as a Tank.
  5. It's definitely sad that Punchy lost her battle with cancer especially as young as she was. I'll always remember her as one of the go-to people if you wanted to PvP on Everlasting as she was usually up for a fight.
  6. I'm having a bit of confusion following to the CoD links, but if we double stack domination it appears the status protection and status resistance we get from domination stacks. Does the mag of our mezzes and duration benefit from double stacking domination?
  7. The cottage was burned down a long time ago when Moment of Glory was nerfed for players but not for NPCs and when IH was made a click instead of a toggle. Otherwise @victusfate this thread should realistically be in the suggestions/feedback section of the forums.
  8. A UI request, but I think it would be super to be able to sort the list of TF's or trials into those available by minimum level or alphabetically.
  9. What's the campaign setting? Any off limits PC races, classes, or alignments?
  10. I'm into build crafting and glad that IO prices are still reasonably priced 4.5 years in.
  11. A shameless plug for giving us the option of making individual costumes for our mastermind henchmen would be something I could support. If you've ever seen Bridesmaids, I could see the MM wearing a wedding dress and the rest of her gal gang in god awful bridesmaid dresses getting into shenanigans with her. Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, and Rose Byrne would likely all approve.
  12. Despite being sick, late, and having crappy rubber banding tonight, it was a fun time.
  13. Is it wrong I read this post as "favorite fromage" and now I'm thinking about my favorite cheeses? I want some habanero pepper jack and some double cream brie, and blackberry goat cheese now. All my characters are originals, however one character does have a couple homage/parody costumes of other characters but I never wear them, they just exist to look cool on my costume options list.
  14. The opening line to that song is the first line from Korn's Blind "Are you ready?" The second line of the song is "Oops we thought we were."
  15. As long as the baby is asleep on time and I don't get any pre-Thansgiving wife agro to go run out and pickup whatever, I'll do my best to get there tonight. I have a new tank around 46 or so in the works, otherwise can grab something out of my existing cadre.
  16. Man I wish I could bring myself to get a few of these costumes, but take your undefined mode at 1,500 PAPs. Last I checked a PAP averages for 4 million on the AE, so that's 6 billion influence for a special costume. I'd rather fully IO out 6 toons than buy one costume at that price. That said some of them look cool, but maybe I'm just a cheapskate.
  17. Biggest tip is to stay out of the AE for awhile and experience the game. There's a whole arc that you get directed to in Ouroboros at 50 that helps you understand about incarnate powers. After that it's basically play your character get XP, do incarnate content in Dark Astoria, or other itrials. The incarnate slots unlock in order from alpha->interface/judgement->destiny/lore->hybrid.
  18. As a retired PvPer, my entire PvP team used to spend like 2 hours per character making the perfect costumes. Because we'd farm/market quite a bit we'd often do influence prizes for tournaments and such as well. So no you're story doesn't seem that odd.
  19. I find it more useful on a controller using trick arrow, because then you can ensure they don't leave the glue, which not only does it slow movements, it also debuffs a foe's recharge by 40% which is a damage mitigation tool that Trick Arrow brings to the table. That said if the mob isn't living long enough for the effect to be that noticable, then you could reasonably argue for a different power.
  20. I was experimenting with making a map using custom critters, and because I hadn't pointed it to the right custom group, when I tried to test my map before I realized the situation, I found myself looking at a +4*8 map of nothing but FF/Sonic Blast AVs. Naturally I charged in to see what would happen, and quickly realized I was dead before I could react. I was briefly curious how a full team would fair but figured it would largely be the same outcome so I didn't bother, and went back in to fix my error, as that AV wasn't meant to be cloned 500 times. Fun learning experiment though, and who knows maybe 🤔 I might have to make a mission some day like that where the goal is to sneak through and not agro your imminent death.
  21. Well flash arrow gives a nice perception debuff if you have use for it, I could see an Ill/TA not needing the perception debuff due to Superior Invis. The tohitdebuff is nice given that half of it ignores resistance, so you only have to worry about half of the debuffs getting resisted. Now if you're solo and already have stacked enough defense to floor your targets chance to hit, it's less needed. So depending on an individual's build and playstyle the need of flash arrow is not always required. That said I have 4 trick arrow toons as I love the set, and I typically take it, even though I usually softcap my defenses, I pug a lot so I figure my single serving teammates might benefit from the tohitdebuff/perception debuff more than me.
  22. Here's City of Data on the power. Half the regen buff ignores enhancements the other is enhanceable so that's why you see two lines for it. Stacking is per caster and replaces the existing effect. Each of the regen buffs are 112.5% of the base, so that's why you see .47/sec times two. Your end bonus shows a base 1.67 end/sec, so the end bonus of touch of the beyond is 50% of the base but you can enhance the end aspect. Based on your numbers in combat attributes, your getting a 97.6% end bonus on touch of the beyond, so you have it slotted with endurance enhancements, but not health enhancements. The tooltip numbers seem off. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=blaster_support.darkness_manipulation.touch_of_fear&at=blaster
  23. Well I ran a build for a tank, brute, and scrapper. Truth be told I was leaning tank from the start, but wanted to be fair. I did settle on the tank as I'm going to play with defensive SLENFC softcaps (damn the def reduction to EA, makes getting FC to softcap require three sets of WIOs, SLEN end up being slightly over incarnate softcap). Max HP with Hoarfrost and just under 1300 absorb, 40% recharge slow (32 from chilling embrace, and another 8 from 1 spines attack, so conceivably more), 21.45% tohitdebuff with darkest night to stack on top of my defenses, should help when fighting toxic/psi, 44% damage debuff between chilling embrace and darkest night, sure it will get resisted but still a decent value. So yes Yomo might think its a double cheat code, but: iddqd, idkfa. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the feedback.
  24. Here's a teaser of what's being worked on right now, with an anticipated completion date of mid December 2023... You heard it here first....
  25. So I'm thinking of pairing spines with ice armor, and incorporating foldspace into the mix. I have lots of experience with each set on multiple ATs, but I have never combined the two. I don't need a build as I can make them myself, but what I am looking for is your thoughts on which AT you would do it on if you were to do so yourself. I'm least likely to pick stalker despite loving stalkers, as I feel mixing quills, icicles , chilling Embrace, and pulling mobs in with foldspace would be really interesting. I'm leaning more towards tanker/brute, but I like icy bastion better than hibernate so scrapper is in the mix too. If I were to go tanker/brute I'd likely grab soul mastery for darkest night. If I were to go scrapper or stalker I'm more flexible (maybe leviathan for waterspout or blaze for melt armor, shadow meld is nice but I'll build this toon to defense cap SLENFC, so it's use would be limited). So which AT would you all pick? As always thanks.
