I can verify that tanker irradiated ground was detoggling on a 4 star ITF as well. I haven't tried it in other content.

TF Commander, ludicrous speed now!!
SeraphimKensai replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
I speed all the missions on these. I've done them all a 1000 times or so I'd much rather just finish them and get the merits. Regarding Synapse, I usually wait until a new toon needs it, and it's a weekly, then I'll boot up all three of my accounts and then proceed to solo speed it, and log all three accounts back in for Babbage and the King to get a decent merit reward as I find Synapse is often quicker with me solo than running with a bunch of undergeared pugs. That said occasionally I feel benevolent and bored so I'll run a group of pugs through a synapse if time permits. -
Well in Dwarf form sure, outside of that no. Try it on say a solo Moonfire TF and have fun with Arkham's almost Perma stun.

I'm honestly more upset about the Talos Arena closing down during live than the AP/Mercy AE buildings being imploded. Then again I never used the AE in the starter zones as I like to stay away from the riffraff.

Thanks. Sometimes wit and words can be just as impactful as bullets and baseball bats. Realistically I would of probably let the property go to hell and got code enforcement coming out to cite me for something. I guess I'll stick to my industrial pad of teleporters and storage racks, at least that is rent controlled.

I'll trade 30 million influence, an assortment of 10 random recipes, 2 ultimate inspirations, power level you a brand new level 50 toon of your choosing, and offer unwarranted advice on the costume(s) you wear well I power level you to 50. Note: for said power leveling I may just just use you as a sidekick and source for vengeance as we do a variety of missions spread out over a month, or I might just level you up in the AE based on both of our availability. I reserve the right to have an inspector check the foundation, roof, walls, electric, and make sure there's no pest problems or decomposing bodies in a closet. I don't think you'll get a better offer than that. Edit: damn right after he sells it back to the previous owner at a loss, classic Nigerian Buy Back.

The Truly Final Forever Scrapper Contest!!!
SeraphimKensai replied to Yomo Kimyata's topic in Scrapper
This is pretty difficult overall, as I would likely pick one different than someone else to be my "forever" scrapper, as I'm sure you would as well. I really do like a large number of the powerset combos available to melee toons. I'm going to guess one that I haven't actually played yet but it's scheduled to be my next toon (I'm taking a short break to finally get around to Assassin's Creed Odyssey ATM, and prep for the birth of my daughter in the next couple of weeks). That said these power sets I've taken to 50 multiple times each between scrappers, stalkers, brutes, thanks, and even a sentinel for the armor. You mentioned wanting to be able to handle a large variety of things from outbreak to incarnate trials. With that I assume you're looking to solo AV's and GM's as well. And that can reasonably be done with this powerset combo as it's fairly adaptable. Radiation Melee and Bio Armor is my guess, as that's what I'm making next myself. You have multiple damage auras, built-in taunt, ways to stack -res/-def, and can get some -regen, -damage as well, while giving you stances to adjust on the fly to what you're doing. Also you have decent absorb/regen/heals, max hp, and decent end recovery. Otherwise an alternate pairing and I understand this wouldn't be considered for your contest, but energy melee/stone Armor would work really well. I have a stone armor s to stalker that I built and it ended up very survivable to the point I did a +2/5 solo synapse just fine. I was so surprised by it that I shut hide off on one mission and let mobs attack me while I went outside and drank a beer and grilled some brats for lunch one day. When I got back in it was still standing and in the hp was over 2/3 full. Either way you go, you can't really go wrong with a scrapper. Take care. -
Ice Cubed - Hit 50, Build feedback before respecing
SeraphimKensai replied to McOz's topic in Blaster
As you indicated your goal is to have fun. So the best any of us can offer is: "you do you". What's fun to you is going to be different than what's fun for me or the next person, so if you have fun with your character that's the important piece. You might just want to build it out on the test server for free and see if you have fun playing it and adjusting from there if necessary. -
The part you quoted was, the previous portion wasn't as I had to prepare it by fixing the autocorrect.
-
Here's an even more fun fact: exemp is not a word, but exempt is, and thus autocorrect will automatically correct exemp to exempt. Further by exemplaring in the game you are exempting yourself from your character's level, allowing you to play with others without skewing the playability of their mission too far, and therefore are exempt in that regards.
-
Yes attuning would allow it to be slotted, but for very rates and pvp IOs besides a proc, attuning them actually is a decrease in efficiency as they are designed to auto exempt down to lvl 10.
-
Pinnacle did have a lot of drunk heroes on it. I had villains on that server and anytime I entered Bloody Bay, Siren's Call, Warburg, or RV heroes just magically kept passing out in front of me.
-
There's a lot of fun ways to debuff mobs. Poison, Dark, Storm, Cold, and Rad are probably my favorite primaries for debuffing in that order. I typically pair with sonic, rad, or elec for debuffing secondaries on a defender.
-
We read just fine, but we also drink, and these little phones are so fragile that pushing the button can easily smash the glass and then it's tougher to read.
-
Try it out on the test server and see if you can live with it.

The AT and power sets that you've particularly enjoyed
SeraphimKensai replied to User's topic in Archetypes
When CoX went dark, the ATs I found myself missing the most were the Kheldians as the lore behind them had so much potential, yet their implementation felt squandered. I'm a big fan of Venom and Spawn so Kheldians felt a bit like that with a splash of the GLC thrown into the pit for seasoning. Otherwise during the Live era, I got a deranged satisfaction tasting the salt from the tears of pvpers that tried to kill my pvp team in vain. I mained a pvp empath and I probably am a little messed up in the head from it, like a person who willingly becomes a goalie in hockey. Now a days, for PVE I actually enjoy my random integer generator to give me an AT, and my primary/secondary/epic pools. I only get to choose the normal power pools and then I have fun making a competitive toon out of chaos. -
Raising PvP Zone -level enforcement- NON RV
SeraphimKensai replied to Kataklysm's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Back in the days of Guardian, we had a weekly event called the Guardian wars, which was basically 2-4 large sgs fighting it out but we welcomed everyone, and the event population would have the zone at capacity often times. Of the hardcore guardian pvp community we used to flip from heroes to villains and back to try and keep the zone relatively even so one side wouldn't feel that they were getting royal reamed. That was super fun. We also used Warburg for FFA events as it didn't matter if you were hero or villain. I will admit we didn't use Bloody Bay too much aside of getting Shivans and the occasional lowbie fights.- 110 replies

Instanced Hami trail (The Abyss)
SeraphimKensai replied to Laucianna's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm all for instanced versions of the Hami raid. My SG used to do private raids all the times back on live, and members of the public would occasionally come in and grief us. Would also help facilitate unique challenges like the 8 stalker Hami kill from Indomitable a couple years ago. -
I personally build my domis to have permadom for the Penny Yin TF. Once that is done I ramp up survivability. Doing so often requires Hasten.
-
Just saw this thread and immediately had the thought "Why the hell haven't I paired Bio and Read Melee together yet?" I'd make sure to work in an Achilles proc as well.

What is the set you would definitely play on Corruptor?
SeraphimKensai replied to Lyrium's topic in Corruptor
Fixed it for you. -
What is the set you would definitely play on Corruptor?
SeraphimKensai replied to Lyrium's topic in Corruptor
My fav corruptor is likely my ice/dark/dark. I also enjoy my fire/cold/dark, and my elec/kin/elec. All three combos can be built pretty solid. I mean all three of them can solo monster hunt. -
I haven't tested to see how or if PA inherits active buff assault radial, but if they do that would likely be the way to go, as the only other way to increase their damage iirc is by their slotting (including procs). Control is fairly meh on an ill/traps, Support benefits your Phantasm and you.

@InvaderStych In mids, when you're about to slot an IO into a power, hover your mouse over it first and then hit the plus or minus key on your keyboard to adjust an individual IO's boosting. Once you've hit plus 5 times click on it and the slotted IO will be a +5 boosted IO.
