Hand clap has one case use where it shines, stacking the stun with Oppressive Gloom from Dark Armor, and being proc'd with KB/KD and FF: recharge. It provides great mitigation to the whole team stunning mobs and knocking things on their asses. Personally I'm in the camp though that it should do some modicum of damage as well, in which event would make it almost mandatory as otherwise SS gets no aoe until Footstomp.

I've got my share of fights and then some having played hockey, studied multiple martial arts and competed in tournaments, and been in the military/gone to war and back. I've been stabbed, shot at, almost blown up, and once almost beheaded. I still train some MMA just as exercise with sparring weekly, but I've had the privilege of getting old and staying six feet tall. Yes most people these days I doubt have ever taken a punch and I occasionally think they could bear to toughen up some, but now that I have a kid on the way I'm sure as hell hoping that my future child ends up one of those that can get through life without what I've had to go through. So of a safe room and feelings keeps them safe, I might not always understand it, but so be it. PvP in this game used to be great, and even other games, but it's regressed more to children "pwning" and teabagging each other than actually reacting to a human AI that learns your tactics as you use them forcing constant self evolution and thought.

A couple years ago I helped one GM actually test out a round of repel ball in Kallisti Wharf on a bridge. They stated they were trying to figure out how best to make it more appealing to the player base. Perhaps the time has come. Sadly I don't remember the GM's handle that was working on it.

You want an epic/patron option with Power Boost, or possibly Clarion Radial, as power boosted Farsights and Chrono Shifts are where its at.

It almost seems criminal to not take drain soul on an ice corruptor. There's a lot of questionable slotting like purposely leaving tough 5 slotted at lvl 24, and then saving a global 3% defense io until much later to slot it as a stand alone slot in temp invulnerability, and questionable power selections like having flurry and jump kick in addition to boxing and tough. This build is not for me, as I can't bring myself around the power choices. Then again the only builds that are for me are ones that I make myself.

I've been making headway with in Elden Ring as a Samurai. It seems the play style really speaks to me in that game, softening up targets from range with a bow, and then as they come to engage me in melee unsheathe my blade, slice, dice, dodge, roll, and repeat on the next threat. I tried as an astrologer and the beginning of the game was too rough for me casting spells.

Honestly elec melee is best on stalker, and then 2nd best on tanker. Brute maybe third, and scrapper last imo for Elec/shield combos. If you want shield on a scrapper, I'd say energy melee, street justice, or something like broadsword or war mace would work well.

Regarding flight speed stacking from multiple powers granting fly. The game takes the fastest flight speed and disregards the others, you can't stack them up (aside of things like jump pack, afterburner, etc). Makes me miss the old eve online days when we'd put 2 microwave drives on a ship and get really crazy fast subwarp flight speeds, although the transversal would be crazy in the wrong way (think turn radius of you never played it).

Its possible to play with hover, however I prefer leaping myself. Teleport with foldspace could be interesting but I've never tried it, I'd be curious to know if someone has had great success with it on an ice/dark.

Illusion/rad is the classic I'm going to go solo lusca so hold my beer toon. Debuffs are King for hard targets like monsters and AV's.

Probably a good idea to make a farmer on a 2nd account to grind your influence to spend as a tricking out a corruptor to solo GM/AV content. Ice/dark is amazing. So is Ice/storm, ice/trick arrow, and ice/cold (but that's more for teaming).

Pineapple pizza is most definitely not the best. Fresh pineapple is delicious, hell I am growing 4 pineapple plants at home, but putting it on pizza and cooking it makes it weird. It's like canned spinach. Fresh spinach is great, canned spinach I wouldn't eat even if Bluto was taking Olive oil out to sea and I needed to turn my legs into a propeller to move Wimpy and myself out to save her in a row boat like it was a speed boat. Well considering that the rest of the powerset with the exception of thorntrops and build up take defense Debuff and accurate defense Debuff enhancements this does seem like an oversight on the live devs. That said it's been like that since circa i6 as an unenhanceable defense Debuff if memory serves correct so maybe so this post I think would fit better in suggestions than bug reports. All the other powers in the set that do -defense are enhanceable. Otherwise I'm all for allowing it to take the enhancements.

Everyone forgot the most important thing that Dark Extraction needs to be fixed to do.... properly recolor the power and fluffy and fluffy's attacks to the color palette that the player assigns for the power. But honestly Kheldians in general need a much deserved overhaul for the entire AT.

Build for Recharge. Controllers can get Powerboost on a 120 base CD. You want Perma Phantom Army, but building for recharge allows for Perma powerbooosted farsight and chrono shift. Once you have that short up what positional defense you need for softcapped M/R/A and otherwise you should be in the ballpark towards having a pretty damn effective toon.

As a retired pvper, I used to love jousting, hell it looked like my characters were literally bouncing off the walls hitting targets from what seemed like three directions at once on occasion. I would entirely be fine with jousting in PvE again, however note that some of us have reaction speeds that actually break the constraints of the time space continuum so yes we can react faster than the server and might end up causing the people not skilled in jousting to mapserver in awe of our awesomeness. Jokes aside it would re-introduce a slight skill curve into the PvE game which isn't a bad thing by any means, but could cause some people to end up complaining about people jousting all around the map. It's bad enough I get people complaining when I use whirlwind on a character.

You can take Phase Shift from concealment, or even Speed Phase w/ SS and RP it. I'd play it as a STJ/SR stalker probably.

You can't combine 1+2 for example, but even if you could the bind system could only do 1 power. As you pointed out you can combine with shift, control, alt. You can make a rolling bind that each time you press it it loads a new file and does that. I've done that with taunt before using 300 custom taunts I wrote once to give it more or less spiderman quips.
