  1. The easy work around would be to increase the end mod gained in the forms to compensate to be essentially end neutral while suppressing the toggles end cost.
  2. I have Tesla cage onan corruptor and the chaining I agree is pretty mediocre. Mind you I took the power for a hold. If I could I'd probably give Tesla Cage the Sentinel treatment across the board to give it more damage, and make the chaining something a little more meaningful.
  3. I can understand why one wouldn't need it. I'm pretty good with math and have most (95% or so) of the set bonuses memorized at this point so I usually make a build in my head. I do have mids though and occasionally use it for theory crafting toons I don't plan to roll or to give someone else a build (however I hesitate on sharing them a lot of time as I want people to hone their critical thinking skills.
  4. A fellow scholar and gentleman. There are far too few of us amongst the common rabble with a discerning taste separating the meek from bold. Good journey fellow knight errant.
  5. Although I am not opposed to a zone queue I imagine there would need to be stipulations such as actively at the gate waiting as opposed to doing something like going street sweeping while killing the time or going to different zone or mission while waiting for the queue. That said I still think Hamidon raids should have the option to be instanced from LFG. That would allow a group to do it on their own terms, whether as a supergroup event, or some kind of strategy deployment without the risk of unknown factors.
  6. A fire/rad brute doesn't have access to burn. That's a Rad/Fire Brute that gets burn. Dark Armor tankers can be built beastly, but another brute will be safer, or if you want build a fire res/def capped fire/kin corruptor to have your brute follow your kin. That said it all depends on what your farming, what map you're running. I have set ups for fire farming that I'll often run two brutes, a Spines/Fire and a Rad/Fire in afk meteor maps with patrols while I run content on a third alt. If I'm actively farming for drops on a meteor map, I'll bring in 3 masterminds. If I'm Power leveling an alt, often times I'll bring a fire armor brute and a ice/fire blaster and have the brute follow the blaster with burn on auto while I rain devastation with the blaster. Otherwise I have a couple characters I have to farm S&L as well. Variety is the spice of life after all. That all said if your afk farming and not busy combining reds, a tanker farms at about the same place a brute does, but it's easier to get your res/def up on a tanker.
  7. Personally I think this would be fine. I would like to take it a step forward and have teleport beacons to the PvP zones too.
  8. I used my ruler on the yard to see how bad it was. The grass was 2.5 inches and still green but my neighbor across the street was wearing a parka while walking her dog (who was wearing some winter dog vest). It's a balmy 63° with a high for 80° today. Maybe if it wasn't so cold, I'd throw my swimming trunks and boogie board into the back to swing by the beach after work. Instead I'll probably hunker down in the house with heat just in case it gets a little more chilly. Our community can all come together in this time for our communal effort to stay warm. Hot cocoa all around.
  9. I'd be okay with a click based ability added an a revamped inherent that sacrifices all your minions while boosting your damage, tohit, hp, defense, and resistance temporarily for say 60 seconds with a 6 minute base recharge (global recharge can affect). During that time all your minions are despawned. If you summon any minion during the buff, the buff is deactivated. I'd chalk this up to the times in comics where someone like Mumm-Ra realizes his shock troops just can't handle the Thunder cats, so he assumes his true form as Mumm-Ra The Everliving. He becomes a temporary badass, but can't keep it up, and after he's spent his energy withers back into a husk of his true power. What value the stats would be buffed to, I'm open to discussion.
  10. @Galaxy Brainmade a post back in circa 2019 about npc resistances. I don't remember everything they wrote in it but I remember it confirming my long held understanding that: Edit: here's the link :
  11. You're using Sandolphan's Mastermind Numpad Binds right? For me those binds are what makes a mastermind even playable in the first place. Otherwise /Dark Miasma is a great set, and adds a lot of functionality to boot your pets through team stealth, debuffs to the tohit, regen, and resistance of mobs, not to mention twilight grasp is a great heal.
  12. I will preface this with the fact that I'm kind of a dick, but I try not to be, and maybe that goes back to how I was raised or that I'm a combat vet from an era before sensitivity cards and safe spaces, but I understand that there's people out there that like their water wings well into adulthood (I jest). I was brought up to praise publicly and criticize privately. That said if I'm not teaming with you, I don't care how bad your build maybe. If I'm teaming with you, chances are I'm too busy to pay attention to your play styles, I mean I'm often carrying the team as I usually play the ABCO's (Always Be Completing Objectives) of CoH, while watching Netflix or a hockey game or something. However if your play style becomes detrimental to the team that we share, or I notice some completely outlandish choices, I might send you a whisper to engage in consent for feedback (and usually people are okay with that, I don't sugar coat anything, but I try not to be a dick either), as over the years I've probably played your same powersets to 50, perhaps not the same exact build, but I'm pretty well versed with the game having played since Beta in 2004. Otherwise I have my individual pet peeves, like anyone and the biggest ones I have in the game comes into play when I'm forming a Speed TF or a max difficulty TF, if you don't know the minimum level or how to get there, or if you're not going to assist with the ABCO's, then don't waste your and my time, I do not want to be your mule for XP/influence/merits, you can put your big boy pants on and manage your own character on your time. That said I also often run fairly casual TFs and such as well where I have no problem putting on my Coach Costume and holding someone's hand through a TF, as I understand that there are still new people coming to the game. I might give you a few wiki links for the TF so you can read through or tell you about any weird mechanics so you get the jist of them.
  13. The biggest issue I see here is that you maximized recharge at the expense of defense. What are your positional defense values? Typically with Shield Defense people chase defense up to at least 45% for melee/ranged/AoE, then either switch focus to resistance or recharge. Also I'm a rare one in that I like whirlwind on several AT's, but it isn't doing you any good as a Stalker other than breaking hide and messing up your chance to crit. Your IO choices and slotting is kinda all over the place, look at how you slot physical perfection or superior conditioning for example. I'd replace the efficacy adapter and use the Synapse's Shock Proc for increased run speed +end mod and hit a quick 7.5% move speed bonus in at least one of them. But still it seems counterproductive to how you manage endurance. Realistically you should look at some of the other builds here as you picked essentially a flavor of the month in that Elec/SD Stalkers are very common so there's tons of builds out there. Good luck.
  14. This big time. We used to PvP where we would time the animations so the damage would arrive at the same time. Best part about the set.
  15. Taunt only hits 5 targets at a time. It needs to be applied multiple times to effect the agro cap for tankers which is 17. Blaster nukes only hit 16 targets at a time, some aoes only hit 10. This, along with agro limits was done by the live devs to throttle the game so that we couldn't agro an entire map, and then when someone had 400 mobs on them, nuke them or burn them to nothing all at the same time. As far as controllers go, it's so you have to be strategic about how you use your controls so that way you're not surrounded by the same group of 400 mobs all held in place unable to attack. Addition: Incarnate Judgements can actually target up to 40 mobs, which exceeds the agro limit. When the game first came out there was no target or agro caps, so we took advantage of that. The devs established target/agro caps. Realistically I'd probably increase them some if I had my way, but I'm married, so I haven't had my way since 2017. Hopefully that gives you some insight.
  16. Tuesday mornings often have server maintenance. There's a link at the top of the forums with server status.
  17. Counterpoint to this suggestion: what if I don't like the thing you want (mastermind pet customization for an example) you pay to have them help get it done, but I pay more for the change to never occur or be drastically different than what you wanted. Now you feel ripped off because you didn't get what you paid for. Not that I'm personally independently wealthy, but there will always be someone out there that disagrees with you, and someone out there with more resources (disposable income, unless you're someone like Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk) than you have. For that reasoning I can't support this, despite that you may have benevolent intentions.
  18. The suggestion is not without merit, however it seems likely that this would require more effort and would serve a smaller amount of players than what might be practical. You can already control your speed if you have superspeed or speed of sound, sprint, ninja run etc by detoggling one, some, or all powers, so realistically I don't see more speed control getting implemented anytime soon.
  19. I have a sg mate that does some base designs for influence. Im not sure if they want their global in forums, but you can dm me and I can provide their contact info on a individual basis. The guy is pretty experienced, he's based on Everlasting.l, but I suppose he could make a base anywhere as influence transfers between servers just fine.
  20. I agree with @Psyonicoin that the base 240 second recharge for liquidfy should be something more akin to 90 seconds. personally I'd also rather have disruption field a location based AoE than an ally based targeted AOE. This would allow it to be solo friendly. Also changing sonic repulsion to be a PBAoE toggle, that further reduces resistance to those it touch for 30 seconds would be great. sonic cage is fine as is. It has its uses.
  21. STJ used to be the king of Single Target damage pylon tests, with the rework that Energy Melee got, EM is pushing ahead. So I would guess that's why those two sets in particular were recommended. That said Stalkers are one of my favorite AT's and get can be made to do some crazy feats (my most recent is a fire/rad stalker where I purposely took two so so stalker sets to make a beast that uses an alternating layers approach to survivability with rune of protection, particule shielding, meltdown, and shadow meld while using ground zero/rad therapy to supplement AoE).
  22. Personally I'd change the Fast Snipe proc to something like a Double Tap proc, chance to hit twice. Since people don't need to stack tohit to unlock the fast Snipe, and this allows to keep make the snipe interesting by making the proc fairly unique so that it still does good damage as opposed to being one that is largely useless.
  23. I have a time/dark, a poison/rad, an elec/water, and a dark/elec that are all extremely resilient. Defenders can be built easily because of their buff/Debuff values they get a lot of mileage out of things like leadership, so I find them all very easy to softcap at the minimum S/L/E. Otherwise pairing that with debuffs make for a very resilient defender.
  24. Use this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12l8SBv_Wy9Xd33UlVCVD7DN0v5XChmdnEQv33eI-tiE/edit?usp=drivesdk Then you can determine how much recharge you can safely slot without compromising your proc rates.
  25. I'm also old, and the reason I got to be old was my old friend common sense. That said aside of one of @Linea's AE missions or the Dr. Aeon TF, if someone dies that's on them. They either shouldn't of been standing there, or should of prioritized a different target, or should of stayed closer to where incoming buffs or heals are if they need them. Tankers work great, and I've never found a combo I didn't care for aside of stone/kin Melee, so they have a lot of flexibility for play styles. good luck out there.
