I'll also chime in and say that I play on Indomitable (first I picked when I started, I do not do pvp at all) and I've been in the pvp zones purely for badges and been the only one there every time. So, at least to my observations, pvp is either dead or on life support.

As many have said, the Homecoming servers have been back for "awhile" now and some/most of us have gotten past the idea that the rug will be pulled at any moment. My time in COH isn't as rabid as it was when I first found Homecoming, but I'm still here. It's now integrated into my free time, but not taking all my free time. I've gone a week without playing and I've spent an entire Saturday running through the Praetoria arc. It waxes and wanes, but will continue until it can't.

Yep, he worked there many moons ago. He loooooves Rolemaster ( keeps trying to get me to join, but I just can’t get into it) and will happily chew your ear off about it if you stop by.

While you’re at Gen Con, swing by the Iron Crown booth. No swag ☹️, but my friend Nick looks like and does a good impression of the Yarp guy from Hot Fuzz.

Finished it and loved it. Yes, there's a lot of changes, but , jings, there's a whole lot they got spot on and the things that are different mesh pretty damn well. As with the books, there's plenty gore, violence, sex and other nefarious stuff yet underneath it all are amazing stories being told. The acting, production and story all are amazing...especially for a streaming show. I figured budget constraints would mellow things out, but it didn't. After that ending, I would very much love season 2 now...alas, the wait.

It took me a bit to accept and adapt to the changes, but, in my opinion, it's worth it. I mean, Aunt May is hot, Mary Jane is a skinny black girl and Ned Leeds is not only NOT the Hobgoblin, but he's Peter's best friend. All massive deviations away from the source material. Yet, billions of dollars don't lie. I'd say give the first episode a chance, turn off that inner voice we all have that tells you this isn't the way is has to be and see if it doesn't grab you. It may, it may not. I do think it deserves a chance if you enjoyed the books.

I was actually blown away by the production values I've seen so far. For a streaming series, it looks damn good. The trailers don't do justice in that respect.

For those interested, it's up a day early. Halfway through episode one and loving it!
