  1. I use a single keypress for toggling on sprint and ninja run. For that I have to start with "+down$$..." to make it do both. I don't remember why having a movement direction in there was important, but it works. Note also you have to hold the key down for a little bit longer to actually get it to execute the second one on key up. If you tap the key too fast it will do just one of the toggles (or executions in your case). I've never done two powexecs in a single keypress, so can't verify that it will definitely work like toggles do. The other way to do it is set one of the execs to Auto in the bind. I don't think that's what you want here though, as the auto would be blocked from executing if the other wasn't recharged yet and able to fire.
  2. Glad it pulled through 😄 I remember the name Timeshadow from the time before time I think. What was the difference between your more recent reroll of him and the first reroll?
  3. About 3:10 for the PB, and 4:50 for the WS if I remember the Pylon calc.
  4. Test server is fair game, as some of these challenges could be hard enough to require serious build tweaks and retries you may not want to do with your live build (note incarnates are currently not free there but should be again at some point). I've not seen anyone hit those Pylon numbers for either Kheld (though some have gotten close), for example. That's also why the bounty is higher than the carnie mission, which is still tough but has been done a few times.
  5. Various seafood folk, An idea occurred to me to push the boundaries of this AT and get some fun challenges going: I would like to offer "bounties" for accomplishing certain things in game with your Kheldian. I think some goals with rewards tied to them might be a good way to get ideas flowing or just for people to recognize what they really can and cannot do. To that end I'm thinking of starting with the below. WS Pylon Challenge First WS to defeat a Pylon with 300 dps or above under normal Pylon rules (no insps, temps, outside buffs, lore pets) and hybrid off can claim 200 mil. That's not a high dps number [dps has been increased since op], but this is the worst case scenario for a WS given how their powers work, so it might be more challenging than it seems. You will probably have to round up a bunch of high level rikti to feed your buffs, or try to leverage your pets if you can. Completion List: PB Pylon Challenge--Bounty claimed by Doomrider! Same as above but for a PB, and the threshold is 330 dps this time since PBs are better at this. Also 200 mil. Completion List: Doomrider PB and WS +4x8 carnie mission with bosses clear, solo, no temps/lore. --Both bounties claimed by Honest Abe! First one of each can claim 100 mil. Probably best to do the first Harvey Psychic Plane mission in Oro. This seems easy enough, but might surprise some people 🙂 Second and third person to complete these can still claim 50 mil each! Completion List: Honest Abe (PB, WS) nicoliy (PB) New bounty: Same as above, but with Arachnos --Both bounties claimed by Honest Abe! 100 mil again. Completion List: Honest Abe (PB, WS) I'm open to adjusting the above requirements or changing the bounty size. Also open to adding more bounties if people come up with some good ones. It would probably would be best to provide some evidence of your accomplishments, so I guess vids or it didn't happen 😉 So who's game to claim one of these or throw out something more interesting?
  6. It did lock you out of the forms for a very long time on live. The round of Kheld changes by Arbiter Hawk toward the end of the game's life removed that barrier and also made it perma-able (with a half crash) like Eclipse to better balance the two. I definitely would not skip it.
  7. I have to disagree on permafrost. You have capped resistance to slow through your other powers and the cold resist is also wasted. As a set mule it's fine i suppose just as any power is, but it has no practical value otherwise, at least on a stalker. Edit: I take it back on the slow resistance, I was thinking of my builds which generally slot a travel power with Winter's gift unique for the last 20% slow resistance instead of using a power slot on permafrost.
  8. I've found a Bane spider to be almost a good War Mace stalker, but ya, those two would be nice.
  9. It says you have to spend 20 seconds not attacking to be able to do this. Am I missing something with it? Because it seems like you'd benefit from that on the first attack in the mission and that's it, unless you walk to the next spawn and wait which nobody is going to do.
  10. I think Electric's actual bragging right is its immunity to end drain, which you can't build for in IOs. Every set has its thing, but most of them can be patched on other sets through strategic slotting. Various sapping, assuming it hits through streak breaker or autohit or whatever, can ruin your day pretty badly.
  11. Off the top of my head Highly skippable: Shadow Bolt, Shadow Slip, the rez, Dark Detonation*, enemy tp clone Skippable: Essence Drain, Inky Aspect*, Orbiting Death*, Toggle Shields*°, Shadow Blast* People will disagree: Unchain Essence Never ever skip: Eclipse, Sunless mire, Stygian Circle, Gravity well, the pet, the nuke, hasten *Might not want to skip if human only °Might want to respec out of later
  12. 1) Different and interesting. In some cases unique powers or mechanics. 2) Varied utility rolled into one character. 3) Extreme survival tools in the realm of pretty much only some tankers, with very high AoE damage as well. Trade-off of lower single-target damage. 4) Fun leveling progression. You get major rewards and a bunch of extra powers at 6 and 20 in the forms. People complain this makes them too slot starved, but you just need to be smart about it. Nova at 6 is really, really nice to get you through early levels, or to exempt down and wreck a posi tf. In terms of one or the other, it depends a lot on what you like. PBs are more consistent, but don't reach the heights of Warshades in AoE damage or survival. But PBs do better single target damage.
  13. I've played a lot of /ice, and I usually just don't have room for chilling embrace. It's a fine power, but the second least necessary in the set (I never take permafrost). That said, the times I did have it it didn't cause me any issues. In terms of heals, I use hoarfrost + icy bastion + hibernate, which is plenty if you've got good recharge and softcapped your defenses.
  14. Damage is really poor, but it is a way to reach out and touch somebody. The range is reduced in dwarf form, bit it's still longer than a melee attack...
  15. I mean if they are altered by science, a mix where one subject isn't altered as completely as another might make sense if you're concerned about lore. There are all sorts of possibilities really. Could be the child of a Pb and Ws. Could be a mutation. As long as it's fun for the player people can make whatever lore they want. The real questions would be about balance and dev time vs other things.
  16. From beta patch notes: "Some Kheldian powers were usable while shape-shifted even if the power icon was disabled. This has been fixed." Bummer.
  17. @sacredlunaticis correct. There's a no-phase timer, so that even if it's recharged before that you won't be able to use it again. I think I remember it being 90 seconds. On my stalkers/scrappers with hibernate, I generally just put the absorb proc in there since it's global and because I get enough global recharge that slotting any other recharge in hibernate won't be usable anyway.
  18. Why? I understand limiting the Tanker version if the arc has been enhanced I guess, but these? Not that you'll get more than 5 outside of an incredibly lucky scenario, but seems like a strange change to make.
  19. I actually put my blaster as Fire/Ice/Cold in the text field of your form when it was Ice/Fire/Cold... #embarrassing #micromistake. It was not range only, for the record.
  20. The stalker version has no aoes... That should for sure be changed.
  21. I keep seeing in this thread that NB is an under-performing set. If you can back this up with data you'd have a stronger case. Like Pylon times or farm clear times, etc. It's largely moot anyway because we seem to be talking about IO'd builds, but still, actual data helps. It feels like trying to "fix" Lethal damage being a more likely resisted damage type than Psi or something by increasing the damage of one attack in one melee set, which is kind of odd. I think a different fix for Lethal being resisted is maybe more appropriate across the board. I don't disagree with that. Or if the complaint is that NB is under-performing because it has 1.5 AoE attacks instead of 2 or more, why are we "fixing" that by increasing the single target damage of the half-AoE attack out of hide? Why not improve the AoE portion of said attack so it competes a little better with its AoE-happy friends? (I take some issue with the argument because NB is significantly better at single target damage than electric melee along with much better secondary effects, but for the sake of argument, whatever). I'm not against buffing under-performing sets, I just don't think NB is one. IO'd it competes with Savage, Dual Blades and Street Justice for top single target damage (all s/l sets, go figure). It has less AoE than those three, but a significant def buff to counter that. It also just seems weird to pick a set like NB when there are sets with no AoE at all.
  22. I think it would be awesome if the range on GD (and other narrow cones like it) could be enhanced so you have a greater opportunity to feel the AoE value of it; but you'd have to turn it into a single target only attack to get the 100% crit. I'd rather keep it's quirkiness. Just use Soaring Dragon after hide. If you don't want to use Soaring Dragon because you have a build where it's not optimal, not to be a jerk, but that's your own build choice. I use it in my proc-based build and that build was one of the highest single target builds I've tested on stalkers.
  23. That's weird, weaken resolve ended up not helping my PB at all, so I guessed the loss of damage while executing it wasn't worthwhile in general. But I can also slot achilles procs elsewhere on a PB so maybe that's why. Here's the widow build I was using.
  24. I have done exactly this after reading Bopper's proc rocks experiment trying to make up for Granite's penalties with procs. My Stone/Rad is fully IO'd and waiting for tanker changes to go live. Haven't gotten the accolades and incarnates yet, but still.
  25. That's interesting. The two +Res ones should carry over to Dwarf (the +Def ones always have so I can't see the +Res ones not), but the Form Empowerment one will look like it's granting its +Res in Dwarf when in mids when it won't in game. So subtract 5% resist from what you're seeing in mids with Dwarf toggled on. I run two builds myself. One is proc focused for single target damage (still triform), and the other is a more standard slotting made for sustained AoE. It's one of the few instances where I actually value having multiple builds.
