I believe the original game's forums were where I saw an Aussie once comment on his homeland. It went something like "All creatures in Australia fall into one or more of three categories: poisonous, predator, or sheep." 🤣

May I assume the Anti-Matter Ray has a typo? 'Cause otherwise that is a DEATH Ray. I'm not much skilled at the numbers, but there's nothing else that is even close to hitting that hard.

I'm surprised no one has posted this. So, as my high school biology teacher always queried: "Thoughts, comments...upset stomachs?" On spoilery comment from me:

Penelope Yin: The ultimate psychic badass?
Techwright replied to Cancrusher's topic in General Discussion
Need her on the front line of the next Mothership raid. If it happens, I recommend bringing popcorn...and a lawn chair. Rikti are going to wish they'd kept magic by the time she's finished her 30 minutes. -
no not a young Luke, but a tiny distant outline of late-teens Luke. The lore of Star Wars: Rebels is very clear. You see, the Force provided 3 new Jedi on the day Padme died, and the Jedi Order fell: Luke, Leia...and Ezra Bridger. Yes, Ezra of Rebels was born on the same day. The events in Rebels play out over the 4 to 4.5 years before the Battle of Yavin, where the first Death Star was destroyed, and the Star Wars timeline changed to show a change in epochs. "Twin Suns", the episode where this screenshot comes from, was season 3 episode 20, so roughly Luke's 18th year. Luke appears to be half that age in Obi-Wan Kenobi, so the events of the upcoming miniseries are roughly halfway between the 19 year gap of Episode III to Episode IV (and technically Rogue One as well). I'd not considered Kanan. The time of the miniseries is very close to 11 BBY, up to which Kanan was laying low working as a freighter pilot and sometime smuggler, but afterwards due to the Gorse Conflict (Gorse being the name of a moon where it happened), worked with Hera Syndulla. So maybe Kanan might have a cameo as a smuggler, a parallel to the Episode IV Han Solo role shuttling Kenobi? But only briefly. Two Jedi in proximity to each other is too dangerous to maintain for long at this point. EDIT: I don't recall where, exactly, but I think there's a moment in Rebels where Kanan questions whether Kenobi is still alive. But as it would have been several years after the miniseries, he could still meet him and yet wonder regarding his survival. Actually, I'd like to think that the cameos we're likely to see are Yoda and Senator Organa. I strongly suspect, especially with a canon moment in Rebels, that the lore will show that Yoda has learned to communicate over vast distances, if possibly requiring a site with a strong force connection. I'd not be surprised to learn that he and Kenobi have kept up a careful dialog in part to keep tabs on things, and in part to co-train in force ghost preparations. I suspect Kenobi likewise keeps a carefully-protected dialog with Organa to make sure Leia is safe.

Real Life leveling, enhancing, and badging

Does my green inspiration in the OP look in-game? No, just has to have the feel of being part of the game. -
I'm from the old school version:

Clever use of the Vampire Brooch! I'll admit that I had a "wait...what?" moment there before I figured it out.

Yeah, best not give in and try to answer it. It's probably Saul Rubenstein, and we all know how his conversations with Ascendant turned out. 😉

The problem is that GL's construct things with their energy. The closest Green Lantern to what's available in our game would probably be John Stewart who tends to use more energy blasts than constructs. Now one thing that might bring it closer is if one could somehow disconnect the object-flinging power Propel from Gravity Control, then plug it into whatever powerset you settle upon, then get the ability to color as green all objects you are hurling.

Real Life leveling, enhancing, and badging

Should be good for day job badge. Unfortunately, we're years away from a teleporter to Wentworths as a perk. -
I'm getting the vibe that you might not have viewed Star Wars: Rebels. Is that accurate? A lot of people haven't viewed Star Wars: Rebels for one reason or another, but it (ironically since in canon it takes place about a decade after Obi-Wan Kenobi) lays the groundwork for all stories of the Inquisitors. I'll respond to a couple of your comments, but strong spoiler warnings if anyone hasn't seen Star Wars: Rebels yet:

Fascinating. Unfortunately I was saddled in high school with two years of biology and one year of physics with no chemistry classes. Sooo...I've learned something new today! Yay! -
Despite a lengthy appearance in Star Wars: Rebels there's still a lot of mystery surrounding the inquisitors. Hopefully, this series will reveal some of the secrets. Inquistors' list so far (spoilers):

Can't stress enough what @Glacier Peak said. CoH: Homecoming is a living game, meaning it's not static. Don't worry, it's still your beloved game, but there's new content, new costume elements, new powers, and several rough spots have been smoothed out. I'd especially recommend reading up on the travel changes and improvements, which can help very early on.

NFTs - Not a Fan, Ta
Techwright replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Oh yeah. Until about the mid-1970s my late father used to sell mood rings next to the registers in the bookstore/school supply/gift shop he previously managed. The college and high school crowds really thought they were groovy. It sold very well for a time. He also sold the pet rocks, though they didn't sell as well, despite everyone talking about them. I was about 8 at the time, and despite having a kid's imagination, I found it bizarre people would pay money for a rock. I didn't get the joke. 🙄 I was more interested in my Lemon Twist. 😁 -
It works, and it stays in harmony with the famous "When last we met..." quote from Episode IV. Whatever happens, that must be maintained. And I'd be interested to see Kenobi progressing in skill and wisdom towards the dual in Star Wars: Rebels that made everyone rethink what being a Jedi master entailed.

Is this related to the plot point that Council robots are...um, shall we say, more than meets the eye?

I'm guessing a time gate of only 8 hours per day. How long does the accolade take? 😄 -
Universal Damage - Overwhelming Force - Questions
Techwright replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
The Mag 4 Knockback protection at 6-slot. The 3% damage buff (all) isn't too shabby, either. Thanks for the feedback. Good to know. -
I'm working with a 50 seismic blast corruptor and am considering adding Overwhelming Force to his 6-slotted Meteor power. I notice the last of the six enhancements reads like this: The wording has me a tad confused. 1. So would slotting this be every bit as effective as slotting Sudden Acceleration: Knockback to Knockdown? I love Meteor, but am not fond of how potent the knockback is. Sudden Acceleration: Knockback to Knockdown has given me 100% knockdown, and that's exactly what I'm after. I'm guessing what the Overwhelming Force enhancement is saying is that it will convert 100% of any knockback to knockdown, and give a 20% chance to knockdown on top of that. Does that sound correct? 2. Those who've utilized this enhancement, what is "this enhancement also has a penchant for the dramatic..." implying? I didn't file this thread under "Corruptors" because this really is about the Universal Damage set and its implications. I'm just referencing in context of the current character.
