For 100% uptime on double stacked sleet you only need to hit about 300% total recharge (100% from enhancements and 200% from global), which is a lot easier to maintain. With 400% recharge you can triple stack it, but its only for a few seconds. My water/cold corruptor has it perma with recharge procs in waterburst and geyser. 400% recharge gives you a sleet recharge of 12 seconds, which means you could triple stack it for a few seconds. NOTE: Cast time is important to consider, but remember that the game processes everything about a power (if it hits/crits/debuffs/damages/procs/etc.) right when you cast it. So if you have sleet+whirpool going and you cast another sleet whirlpool will benefit right when you start casting it. I know everyone here probably knows this. This is more for general edification. Edit: are you saying 400% recharge as in 100% is your normal recharge time? If so then yes I agree 100%.

If you want to continue in the same vein as my build and still go musculature and have perma soul drain with the shields, aid self and PFF, this is another option with more recharge. It just has less recharge than the other build, overall this is probably better than my first build as you almost always really need a way to heal yourself. You can change the two def and def/end luck of the gambler IOs to shield walls in maneuvers to get a tiny bit more HP. I do not personally like choking cloud because it is a 3+ cast time that just isnt that useful in the end. I'd take entangling aura instead. This is what I made for someone awhile ago for someone asking for a nature/water build, I like to play in melee with my corr/def though so that is why both are softcapped. Phew! I was worried the record would show the 21% defense to all that this was adding to a team with two toggles or the end and recovery debuffs on all the blast powers to stop mobs attacking a team. Glad we avoided that, for the record.

For mobs, fire/kins absolutely wreck everything in the game except for AVs. They'll wreck AVs too if they have access to fodder to fulcrum shift off of, but in practice this is hard to pull off and not worth the extra danger. Due to how resistances and debuffs work on AVs, combined with the lack of being able to effectively leverage fulcrum shift in these fights, /rad will likely work better for AVs. The -res and the -regen will likely give it a slight advantage over a kin using FS and power siphon on a single target. On a team, I'd still go with the 🔥/🏃. The amount of damage you make yourself and everyone else do is super super fun.

Don't go KM then. It is quite flashy. You will be far better served with katana or dual blades in both theme and function. Hell yeah, bio armor is fantastic. In offensive stance it gives you an almost 10%-res pbaoe aura.

I tried to go dark mastery first, but I just couldn't get the melee and ranged defense up enough to warrant it while maintaining good power selection and recharge. So, I went scorpion shield instead and the s/l/e route. You also have aid self and field medic to help with survivability. Honestly, I think field medic should just be auto, as it already requires a 3 power investment, but I digress. This is without an Alpha so you can choose whichever you like.

Will you mostly team or solo? If soloing you might be happier with a defender as their modifiers are all higher and they will do more dmg due to more -res in their trick powrs and the extra 30% damage on the vigilance buff. You'd lose scourge, but I think it'd be worth it.

Please elaborate on what you are looking for. Softcapped def? Any themes? Max damage with procs? How expensive? It looks like I have only made builds for Archery/Nature and Archery/Storm so far.

I think you would be better served in both cases with a build that softcaps ranged and melee defense. You can do this and still take fire shield, thus allowing you to have a nice middle ground. I think you'll be able to have 75% s/l and around 50-65% fire resist shield this way.

All of these calculations are incorrect. The Scrapper has a damage scale of 1.125 as seen here: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Damage Also, the damage cap for scrappers is 500% with 100% of that being your normal damage, so +400% damage buff, BUT it includes enhancements. So, an attack that does 100 damage at damage scale 1.0 will do 112.5 damage without damage buffs on a scrapper and 562.5 damage at the cap. It's important to remember that the enhancements are included in the damage buff cap, even though they are not shown in the +damage section in combat attributes. The damage cap for brutes was recently changed to 700% or +600% damage in i26 with the brute/tanker patch.

Ah, well then this is the build I use when I don't use rune. This one has a lot more s/l resists. (I have a lot of fire/time/dark corruptor builds because it is my second favorite.) I'd probably use this one over the first. You could max s/l res by slotting numinas or preventative instead of panacea, but I like the recharge.

In terms of min/maxing in this game it usually refers to softcapping defense (either 45% s/l/e or 45% ranged/melee typically), then getting as much damage, recharge, and resists as you can (generally in this order). These builds can also include some kind of mez protection or defense debuff resistance, etc. You take the minimum number of attacks you need to complete the highest damage attack chain at your recharge level. You use +5s where they are most advantageous (like using one +5 recharge reduction IO in hasten because you already have like 225% global recharge). You accomplish these things with the minimum number of slots to give the maximum amount of bonuses you are going for. Examples: it is very global recharge efficient to 6 slot a defensive toggle like weave with 5 red fortunes and one +5 LoTG global recharge, this gives you 12.5% global recharge for 6 slots (5 from 5 red fortunes and 7.5% from the lotg). Another very efficient slotting set is 4 basilisks gaze, this gives you 7.5% global recharge, 2.5% energy def, and 1.25% ranged def. You can also split the corr/def ATO set (scourging blast for corruptors) to get +10% global recharge twice for 3 slots each. So for 6 slots (but really 4 spent slots as you get one for free per power) in two powers, you get +20% recharge. Hope this helps. Here is a fire/kin corruptor build for fire farming that is min/maxed to the best of my ability. It has softcapped fire defense, capped fire resists, and 202.5% global recharge with one siphon speed. With FF procs, 2-3 siphon speeds, and the ageless, you are running around at the recharge cap most of the time. We don't worry about damage because we know it will be capped with fulcrum shift, so we go for some -res procs instead to help our dmg where it is possible.

Time crawl and time stop are the easily skippable powers in time. You could also make an argument for skipping distortion field, but that is more useful than TC and TS.

Ok, so I only took melee attacks and pbaoes if I could help it. In that vein, Greater Fire Sword is the best epic melee power because its recharge is still decent and its dpa is pretty good. So you can run boxing->kick->GFS as your ST attack chain. You could go the total focus route, but the recharge is too high to be a part of a good chain. Anyway, this will work for you I think as a melee attacking corruptor, but it is by no means min/maxed as your strongest attacks as a def/corr are ranged. At the damage cap, your boxing and kick are doing 300+ damage and your GFS is doing 600+, I'm hoping this is enough to make you still feel effective. You also have maxed s/l resist, softcapped melee and ranged def, and perma hasten with two siphon speeds. I wouldn't run repel without Ageless. I don't have my computer, but for now I'll just advise you take maneuvers, weave, hasten, and combat jumping. Make sure you also get forge and melt armor as those are your thermal set defining powers. You can put an Achilles -res proc in melt armor to get more oomph out of melt armor (you could put a damage proc in too, but it's on such a long cd that I dont find it worth it)

I'd switch to the pyronic judgement (because of the cast time) and the assault core. With PBU+Farsight you don't really need the support hybrid.

Ok, how about a rad/kin Corr then, it has pbaoes (those count right? They are really big melee AOEs...yeah...) and then you'll take energy transfer from the epic pools in order to have a good melee attack, and then I guess we go with boxing, kick, and cross punch for the rest. It's tight, but a build that caps melee/ranged def can be done and you'll have good s/l resists. You'll still do decent damage and you'll not have to worry as much about recharge due to FS and siphon speed respectively.
