  1. If true, yeah, that seems like an oversight that should have been fixed many years ago. Like you said, you can point to other sets that work properly - Sonic is probably the most well-known in that regard.

For those discussing ice swords, what about other formed objects outside of the fists, like say mallets as in stone melee - ice mallets would hurt - and what else would you like? etc. My focus was on the activation time of ice patch because it really doesn't even 'feel' right let alone actual performance metrics. As far as accepting other enhancement sets, that's not unique at all sadly to several powers in the game. I could see slow, but disagree on knockback enhancements. That would just enrage the casual player as most enhancements would just cause the knockdown to become knockback by enriching its mag level - so no, I don't think that's a good idea. I assume this is for proc reasons?
  6. I think the idea there is the manipulation of those elements into whatever you want such as edged weapons, fists, elemental breath, etc. Mine is more real-play performance-related. It's like the mitigation it brings requires I get hit multiple times over and over first just because the activation is so long.
  7. I know there are other sets needing attention (hello Poison, Energy Melee, Trick Arrow) and honestly Ice Melee is so much better since it got its revisions. My only request is to speed up the activation of ice patch. When you run up to mobs, you are locked in that animation for just shy of 4 seconds. That is really, really long in practice. Please give it a try in development testing and you might see what I mean. Thanks!

  10. Also want to chime in and thank you for all your continuing work on this! I noticed something when toying with elec affinity on the weekly release: alpha doesn't seem to affect their hover numbers
  11. I noticed that when I am hit with Amp Up from another person, if I throw Ball Lightning, it only says 'Discharge' in orange letters above the main target I threw it at. It was difficult to tell if other targets were getting a gray discharge popup or if that was someone else, or if it is affecting everyone in the AOE. I did this several times and the only orange Discharge would always be the main target. As far as the Sentinel goes, I think it's been mentioned many times how it seems to have trouble going up elevators, so I am tossing that in here also.
  12. Well, even if you don't, they are still damage debuffed. I kind of wish damage debuffing had a more noticeable graphical effect. That would help other sets like kin melee and kin and trick arrow and so on.
  13. This is working exactly as intended, yes. You are expected to go to the stores and the management screen is just for updating what you currently have.

  15. To those who are playing: do you actually end up using Shock all the time? EDIT: good catch on that Vengeance issue - yeah that's no good. I totally missed it was active.
  16. Looking good. I wonder if I would mourn the loss of lightning bolt. If you want more recharge you could take the damage enhancements out of the purple sets since you will be hitting ED caps for damage without them and move one to Hasten, one to empowering, could always move the panacea proc to health and go with Spiritual alpha to get more healing and recharge. I dunno, just thinking out loud. EDIT: Nemu brought attention to the numbers without Vengeance running

  22. Reminder that the devs actually want more inf spent in general. Inf sinks are a never-ending goal of development, so asking that they be cheaper at vendors and such is unlikely to ever happen. It's healthy for the market and economy.
  23. That's why I argue for 6 slotting it at least while leveling. I am using it all the time - like nearly every time it is up while teaming. I can usually keep most at full end bars (including myself) this way. How does the recharge boost work in Energizing? Is the boost really that short?
  24. Yeah the entire argument about it not being a dedicated teleporter with the 3 tp limit is all that is needed, and granting it limited hover wouldn't break that limitation or reinforcement that it isn't a dedicated teleporter.
  25. Yeah he definitely stuns with the proc, but I am only 31 atm. Do you find Shock worth using? I know it's a nice damage debuff but I find I prefer attacking to using it a lot of the time
