  1. Yeah, I see what you are saying. I was not thinking the modifiers changed for defense debuff resistance. Having checked it out in game, there is a clear difference in SR's version for Brutes and SR's version for Tanks. So I can see your point.

  3. I have put out power set change ideas before and used my min max builds to prove a point on AT balance when talking about ice Armor. I was pretty much told that the Devs do not balance this game going off min maxed builds, so my argument was weak. I could respect that so I left it alone after that since the whole basis of my argument was coming from comparisons between different Tank sets and the stats of those sets after being min/maxed. So I am taking this in to account when I say, an all Defense Tank with almost no Resist to show for it will get slaughtered in say...the ITF and any other mob that comes with a hefty amount of -defense. EA only comes with (correction) 51% Resist to -Defense and that is only at level 50 and that does not go any higher if you slot it. Granted, 51% may sound like a lot, but it doesn't take much to wack your defense down to the negatives with multiple stacks of -Defense. Now, if you pick up the T9 you get another 34.6% Resist to -Defense, however, almost nobody picks up the Tank T9's these days and even if they do, that won't help much against mobs that stack -Defense. SR can pull it off because they have a TON of -Defense Resistance. And since we can't use Min/Maxed builds when discussing these types of situations, I try to keep that in mind when I say that EA on a Tank won't be anything like what people think it will be. I'm all for it though, hell, maybe I am wrong and just thinking in to this too much, I would love to test it out for myself and prove myself wrong.
  4. Ha, if they think it's too good and it needs to be nerfed before porting to Tanks, it will even be worse than I thought it would be. Before I only thought it wouldn't be what everyone thinks it will be, If they nerf it first, I am willing to stake money on the fact that it will be the worst set to hit Tanks yet...and I am not exactly a betting man, but I would sure bet on that one.

  7. I don't see any reason the Devs should do this. It's already on the CoH Modder Tool which makes it super easy to download and install. There really is no reason for the Devs to add this.
  8. I think people are seeing it with rose colored glasses. I for one think Energy Aura would be horrible on a Tank. I can see the ITF ripping it to shreds since it doesn't have much of a resist to speak of. Energy is better on Stalkers and Scrappers, and for Brutes, I think barely works. Putting it on a Tank I think would just be a huge fail and it would even be worse off than Ice Armor for Tanks. However, I am not against the idea...I just don't think it's going to work out the way people think.
  9. Ninjitsu for Blasters I think. Ninjitsu for Blasters is the least played set in game by a HUGE amount. After that is the Dark secondary. Maybe it was MA for blasters instead of Ninjitsu, I can't remember for sure but it was one or the other.
  10. Odd, that makes me wonder how that is happening. That should be impossible unless somebody placed a 2 in the place of a 1 on the hit command. Code Rant applies. It should only play once per target hit and I believe only stacks up to 3 or 4 times max. Any more than that would risk blowing speakers. This is just an educated guess of course having dealt with sound files and modding them over the past few months.

  12. You mean the thud stacking effect upon multiple targets or something else? I have been fighting tooth and nail to get all of our stacking effects back, so I am hoping this is not what you are referring to. *crosses fingers*

  18. Sorry, but that's not anything I offer. I offer Sound Mods only. You would have to ask a graphics modder that question. I honestly don't think that can be done though, I believe that is server side. We can only manipulate the things that are on client side.
  19. Thank you. I could have sworn at one time the path aura showed in the editor. That's why I was real hesitant on committing to the costume change. I didn't mean for anyone to be the test dummy, but I sure as hell appreciate it. 🙂
  20. What the title says. I went to change a few costume parts and noticed the Rainbow Path Aura is now different. It no longer leaves a trail? The one my character currently has leaves a rainbow trail behind me, when I went to change costume parts, I got a warning telling me I had invalid costume parts and if I change costume pieces, those parts would be removed. First thing I noticed was that I no longer had the rainbow Aura and it had been removed. So I click on the Path Auras, looked up the Rainbow Aura and realized the pathing aura had been changed in to a rainbow starburst centered glow rather than a trailing path aura. Is this a bug? If not, when was this changed and why? Does the new Aura leave a trail behind the character when he/she moves? If so, it does not show this in the costume creator. I don't want to accept any changes until I know the answers to these questions. So I have backed out of the costume creator until these questions have answers. Anyone have any insight to this?

  23. I would change Midnight Grasp to share the same animation and cast time as the Instant Cast Energy Transfer.
  24. Any AoE sleep needs to be redone. Sleep in today's game is now almost useless unless it reapplies itself much like the Elec version of the AoE Sleep. Otherwise it is just downright useless. I like the OP's idea because it gives the sleep power more function than just the sleep and makes it worth picking up. As of right now I simply do not have the power and have no intentions of getting it.
