  1. This one caught my eye as something different. All the other items are fairly self explanatory. Anyone know what this Teamwork power set is?
  2. I'm sorry, that was directed at WitchOfDread's build, not yours. The 3.95 is from Soul Absorption. If you turn that off you'll see the 2.94/2.95. It's not quite perma and you don't always have a body to hit.
  3. Another good one! But again, I worry about the endurance. Proc builds tend to be high recharge and low in slotting endurance. So each attack costs more than "conventional" slotting and your best, most expensive attacks are up more often. You also have 3 recharge slotted in Hasten. I see that it is required to get perma hasten, but +5ing two of them is only one second difference, and I think you could make better use of that slot elsewhere.
  4. Chunk worked! It looks very nice. Lots more recharge and proc-damage! My only concern would be endurance. You've got 2.94 end recovery and 2.95 end use, without Soul Absorption and Ageless. I traded tactics for focused acc for the lower endurance cost, traded Chords of Despair for Maneuvers, used the extra slot for the Psi proc in Aria of Stasis, and added the Kismet +tohit. Oh and I turned on the passive accolades. I assume that you will get them. I always do. You could also move the slot to health for Panacea or Miracle to help with endurance.
  5. Link doesn't work for me.
  6. War? Huh? What is it good for?
  7. OH SNAP!
  8. Wow. That brought back a lot of memories and trapped me for about an hour!
  9. I just went through all the pictures of the costume contest winners posted in the thread you linked. Not a single one was a copy and most of them didn't get anywhere close to a copyrighted character.
  10. I have not tried, but my friend, Hew, says that he slotted procs in Rev and was pleased by the performance. My concern was whether the procs would only work when Rev was using that particular type of attack, which is what I would expect. For example, my guess is that slotting any of the hold damage procs would work, but only when Rev was using Hymn of Dissonance or Chords of Despair, not any of the other attacks.
  11. Weird. Let me update and try again. Well, I see what you are saying now. I updated and opened it with the 3.4.6 version and it has no Symphonic Powers, just some wierd sonic vibrations that I can't remove, so I guess I will have to redo it. Bah! OK. I was able to re-do it rather quickly since I already had it in that other version. Let me know if this works. 13. Linea gives you cake? I'm contacting my union rep!
  14. 801s are the WORST farms ever. No inf, no XP, only death.
  15. I think the current TF settings system provides a nice balance between time, "difficulty" and reward -- you can set it low and go quickly, which maximizes merits/time or you can set it high and take more time, which reduces your merits/time but greatly increases your total XP/Inf. What I would like to see added is additional rewards for using the other settings: enemies buffed, players debuffed, etc. Most of those settings are played once (if at all) for the badge and then never again. If each additional setting provided additional rewards I think they would be used more often.
  16. While some of their game modifications can certainly give that impression, the devs have repeatedly stated they have no problem with farming and PLing . . . within limits.
  17. Point: made Moderation: immanent
  18. I agree with you that moderation is not always even handed. But, to be fair, "The Devs" are not a monolith, nor even are they all "devs." The people moderating the forums are the GMs. They do forum moderation and help you get that last critter stuck in a mission, but they have nothing to do with coding, tuning powers, or making content. That's what the devs do. And even the devs are broken down along those lines: coding, powers, art, writers, etc. There may even be more categories and there are a few people that overlap a bit. One of coding dev Faultline's favorite sayings is "I am not a powers dev." And even within those categories and between the categories the devs don't always agree with what should be done. So you shouldn't really blame the devs for moderation, because they didn't do it, the GMs did. And those deleted posts are really not deleted; they are just hidden from the public forums and the GMs and Devs can still see them on their end. And we should take some of the blame ourselves. I, like many of you, sometimes get carried away by emotion and might take personal offense at something and respond with a personal attack. We've all seen it happen. And when that does happen, you can't really blame the GMs for doing their jobs and turning down the heat by removing personal attacks and belligerent debate that is just a bunch of weirdos on the internet arguing the fine details of a game they've all loved for years.
  19. My suggestion for MMs and other misfit toys to organize their own one star ITFs. Everyone should have a crack at the new stuff, even if it's not turned up to 11. But what that also does is shows everyone on the team how valuable you as a player and your AT/Powersets can be. Once enough people see it done, they mellow out. And as your character starts finding 1*s easy, then go for 2*, then 3*, and soon enough you will be running 4*s with ease and showing those naysayers how wrong they were.
  20. Prismatics have diminshing and capped returns for running different content, not just the same one over and over. I'm not a fan either. It's convoluted and not intuitive.
  21. Adam Infinity was the Demons MM I mentioned in my post above. Somewhat related to MMs but also to all hardmode content: I have noticed that many players only cast their buffs at certain intervals, or when everyone is all together. While those are certainly great times to buff, especially the PBAOE buffs, better players are conscious of player and pets death and re-cast their shields on them when they rez or get resummoned. When you don't rebuff on rez, you frequently get cascade deaths -- one after another.
  22. I completed a 2* on Static Flea, my Thugs/ElecAff on a mostly PuG team. The first few missions weren't terrible as the team I was on was treating it as a steamroll. I don't know about you guys, but my MMs suck at stealthy speed runs. I did have to periodically resummon, but more often than not I had at least a few pets up. The ElecAffinity heal and absorb definitely helped the pets and the team a great deal. We also had other buffs, but I'm sorry I don't remember what they were. I've run a bunch this week and they are all blurring together. The final mission against Rommy was horrible for my pets, and me. Between Rommy's dirty tricks and aggro coming from Nictus, Barriers, and ambushes, I felt that I was constantly resummoning, dead, or running. But we kept at it and succeeded in the end after about 90 minutes or so. I ran a different 2* on my Nature/Sonic defender and we had a demons MM who thanked me at the end of another successful run stating that the buffs really helped his pets survive. So maybe the key is a combo of spammed heals and absorb to keep those pets alive . . . oh and your teammates too . . .
  23. It may not be super smart, but you can make it predictable. For example, if you open with the sleep from range then close in and start single target attacks to keep the group asleep and take them out one at a time with your secondary, Rev will only have the sleep available and will use it to refresh the sleep. If you then use Hymn of Dissonance, the single target hold, it will start shooting the hold. It may not choose your same target, or it may. All controller/Dom pets have that quirk. I just used the sleep and the hold as an example. You could do that with any of the powers. You just have to be judicious in the use of your primary and Rev will copy you. If you cycle through your primary attacks the Rev will too, but not necessarily in the same order you did. Here's a post from Captain Powerhouse that explains it a bit:
