  1. One of my favorite story arcs: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Viridian#The_Conference_of_Evil
  2. That makes sense in a rational world. But we don't live in a rational world. Even worse, we live in an irrational fictional world INSIDE an irrational world. In this crazy town you can find items that are not only less than the cost, but a mere 1 influence -- so low that the seller actually gets negative influence because there are minimum transaction fees deducted. You also have some people that purposely (rather than accidentally) pay more in influence than the equivalent "capped" merit cost. I hear there is even a magical rich dog that will send anyone 20 million influence just for sending it correspondence. CRAZY!!
  3. Crafting costs are also deflationary.
  4. We still need to get a good look at Praetorian Hammy! A TF or Trial that had us battling the Seed and Avatar as well as Hammy might be pretty epic.
  5. Four mill influence per minute? Maybe including drop sales, but not straight influence from farm kills.
  6. Hey Ukase, want to play with us?
  7. As a thought experiment, I made a Fire/Rad to HOLD EVERYTHING!! I counted a stun+immob as a hold, since that is functionally equivalent. Four holds, three hold procs, two stun+immob combos, extra +1 Mag with Control Core Hybrid, Extra AoE Hold in Cryonic Radial Judgment, Longer durations with Clarion Radial Destiny, and Rularuu Lore pets also have a hold. All that and soft cap to S/L, perma hasten/perma AM/perma Earth's Embrace.
  8. I ran Aeon on max level when it first come out to try it and get the badges. And then I run it from time to time at lower settings for fun or the rewards, especially if it's the WSF. I expect the same for ITF, although I think I may run that one more than Aeon.
  9. I disagree. Perhaps giving it a single, standard, non-mez. single-target attack may not be a bad thing or perhaps it needs other tweaks. But I don't think the entire idea should be tossed just because it's not like other pets. The fact that it is different is the reason to keep it! The Rev does indeed "do damage and other stuff" AS LONG AS "YOU ARE BUSY WITH YOUR CONTROLS." This is the only pet that you can dictate what power it uses and that allows you to get stacks of mez that you could not reliably get before with any other pet. It may take a bit for us to get used to it.
  10. The Yomo Jones Industrial Average?
  11. The only problem with asking for help in General chat is that a bunch of helpful people (like me!) don't monitor it at all. But ask away where ever you like.
  12. As I understand it, if you allow trades, they can be sold on the market and I don't think any of that should be sold on the market or even traded. What I do think should be allowed is transfer within accounts. Why can we transfer any kind of merit or salvage within an account EXCEPT for incarnate salvage?
  13. It's not that simple. The AFK timer only works in the "outside" environment, not inside any mission or bases, which they call instances. And then, even outside, you are not AFK kicked if you are in TF mode, which happens in TFs, Trials, Ouro, and AE. That code lets people get ridiculous badges by sitting in a fire taking damage, or letting yourself be mezzed, or AoE healing an army. If your suggested change effected badgers, I think they might not be happy. Another side effect would be having to kick a friend from a TF that is almost over because they had an emergency and had to leave. Right now, they can just park outside until the TF is completed. So while it may be possible to do what you are describing, it might effect other areas of the game, and it definitely wouldn't be easy.
  14. Actually, that's a great idea. You can get 2XP for free but 3XP is progressively more expensive and has the same zero influence. Creates a new influence sink.
  15. And yet, he DID take it into account in his analysis.
  16. I think that Rev is particularly "stupid" as it only has attacks after you use yours and only those for a few seconds. It may be having mean thoughts and wanting to attack but does not have any attacks and then gets stuck in that "there's nothing I can do" mindset even after it does have copied powers from you.
  17. My understanding is that AFK farming is closer to 500m /character. @America's Angel: What math are you using to get 20 minutes longer? How fast can you get from 1 - 50? (once again, not everyone will be as fast as you)
  18. I'm sorry if my post sounded unsympathetic or belittling. That was certainly not my intent. I was merely offering a work-around. I think there will be another tweak to the Rev's AI and hopefully that will fix it. I tested a Symph/Sonic Dominator and a Symph/Dark Controller. The /sonic dominator prefers to play in melee, so Rev would follow and sometimes get ahead of me and get in trouble. My /dark controller played from range and my build worked on getting extra range bonuses to make those cones even better. The Controller Rev almost never died as it tended to stay at range and I was able to buff it. But I did notice that sometimes I had to move a great deal to "unstick" Rev. It's very noticeable and reproducible on RWZ Dummies. STEPS: Get inside the firing range all the way to the back and let Rev follow. Then move up until you are in range and another little bit to accommodate the distance between you and Rev. Use ST and cone attacks, Rev will copy EXCEPT for Enfeebling Lullaby or unless he is slightly out of range. Now run up to the dummies. Rev seems to get stuck at one of the paper targets. He doesn't move until you leave the area entirely to "tug on the leash".
  19. You don't use "View Totals" like it says here? ^^^
  20. The trick to playing it, as it is now, is to get the Rev within it's range to fire the cones. So you need to move at least a few feet closer. Alternatively, if the AI could be fixed such that he moves just into range that would be even better -- not a suicide pet jumping into melee range and not a passive pet watching you while you work.
  21. [Bug] - Reverberant refuses to use Enfeebling Lullaby at range. If that is the only power he has active, he will not attack at all unless he is within 15 feet or so of the target. He seems to accept all other attacks and use them at the appropriate range. Steps: Create Symphonic Control Controller with Reverberant and Enfeebling Lullaby. Summon Reverberant Attack RWZ Dummy or critter with Enfeebling Lullaby 70 feet away or less. Wait a few seconds for Reverberant to attack . . . Use any other ranged attack Wait a few seconds for Reverberant to attack . . . Use TP or positioning to move Reverberent into melee range Attack RWZ Dummy or critter with Enfeebling Lullaby 15 feet away or less. Wait a few seconds for Reverberant to attack . . .
