  1. LOL Gonna get that done ASAP Thank you !!
  2. Pretty sure we were on the same one(s). Had the same exact issues same exact levels. I don't think there is an answer. I'm just glad that this game isn't character based critical. Which means if you have your core team everyone else can be a scrub as they will be doing something that causes DPS, heal, Buff or Debuff. My pets kept dying as well but it depended on the group. The first Raid group they did well. 2nd run many dropped off even the organizer said it might be rough with the current group and we could fail The 3rd run was almost as good as the first. But the FIRST run was really good with minimal pet loss in the bowl.

  4. How do you check the tags ?
  5. I think like with many games when you repeat a movie cut scene or story line from an NPC they allow you the ability to cut to the end. ESC to hit end the cut scene or an option that says I heard this before lets move on. I think something similar should be allowed with Pets. Just like a force field bubbler can now bubble once instead of individuals. Just like a kin and speed boost everyone. In the same vein of what your saying. pets die on way to mission map. You need to dismiss because aggro near door outside or inside ( you don't want to be the guy who pulls the mobs because someone coming into the map knocks your pets into aggro range ). You can't just summon one tier one or one tier two at level 50 right. It would be nice if something could be done. Just one summon they are there, count the number of pets that are being replaced and charge me. And cut the endurance cost. You summon and that is all you can do just about. You get aggro and you can't even resummon if they die at start of the fight. Like with my Robot Traps I don't mind because I am game god with them. I can solo 4/8 I can do it all. But other mastermind builds are not always set up that way. Just like many other archtypes are not. But again for a free game and guys doing this on their own time.. I can't complain. I wish I had a clue how to code beyond what I know. I don't even know how this is coded. Again I feel you. But I don't think there is much we can do here.
  6. The Hit Part is correct as I expected. The Damage part I THINK you are correct as well.
  7. I will make a few statements and would like someone to correct or confirm my understanding. When a power has 2 damage components types like Energy and Smashing for example The game will select the highest defense value between the two ( Energy and Smashing ) as use that to determine your defenses. Smashing and Lethal are the most common damage types in the game. Thus having Smash and lethal Capped defense wise and getting resistance in both smash and lethal close to resistance cap is almost as good as Positional Defense cap or at least the 2nd best option. Is there another option that might be 2nd best if not Smashing and lethal concept mentioned above ?
  8. Another concept. Thugs Mastermind last pet only. Thug Brothers Twins of Evil Double Chaos Costume is basically a twin of the last Pet. Time, Dark, Kin, Rad, Again defense cap. Last pet is melee so most powers have to be in that melee range. Rad seems good for that. But I need some sort of AOE damage power like Trip mines as I couldn't rely on the pet for killing. Let's see.
  9. Played around with all the ancillary / Epic pools. Because of the number of attacks added resistance numbers and set bonuses added it just ended up better best overall ( In my opinion). Fire was the highest in DPS but it only had 2 AOE attacks and the IO sets reduced the overall performance numbers. I also was being very mindful of endurance here as well. I can't tell you the number of times I tweaked this build but you can go back to the first and this one and totally see the difference to get an understanding how involved this can be. The other thing that help make some decisions was the update to Reborn which showed me I could add Sudden acceleration IO now to these sets. So everything became knockdown now. The other cool thing is the +recharge in Energy Torrent is now more viable because Energy Torrent can do DPS now and have a chance to proc. When it procs Trip Mine Recharge drops from 6 seconds to 4 seconds. So now. I have access to the following 7 attacks; 2 Range Attacks - Corruption and Power Blast 2 Cone Attacks - Crack Whip and Energy Torrent 1 AOE Range Attack - Explosive Blast 1 PBAOE Attack - Trip Mine 1 Melee/short range - Lash Opener is Trip Mine, Explosive Blast at PBAOE range. Followed by Crack Whip and Energy Torrent. Or setting up when needed. Triage beacon, Poison Trap for the AOE hold as they come in. Pull with Explosive blast. Trip mine once Poison Trap goes off. Caltrops to keep them in place and mop up. Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.1 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 10. No you don't Tested live several times on Traps. Acid Mortar produces the pets. 4 of them https://imgur.com/a/Dg9DpNz
  11. We were just talking about this. It seems many third pets have this issue. My Robot does this My Demon does this
  12. There were some comments where a player expressed a bit of disbelief about mastermind pet issues on team or disgruntle players related to MM. This is nothing new. Just discussing the douchebaggery that doesn't change in any MMO. And how some times leaving you end up with something better. Being an old time player I either go in last in the door or first and move out of the way ASAP. Demons yelling is a pain as well. That doesn't help much either. It drives me crazy as well at times.
  13. First, You misread the comment in the quotes. I did have pets, I think in this instance it would actually have been better if I didn't have pets. Further I am 100 percent positive you or anyone else ( Including Myself ) have no clue who you are teaming up with at level 50, what they have speced, or how poor their builds are or that they might not even be level 50. EG lvl 35 on an ITF team. I am also 100 percent positive that you do not need 8 people on a team to do any content that can have a max team of 8. So any Taskforce, Incarnate teams like ITF, Tin Mage.. ETC.. can be done with 6 and even less if you have the right people and the right specs. So if we agree on my comment about not needing 8 people are you really gonna complain and get butt hurt become someone is running around petless or whatever Archtype and whatever they are doing, but have some value to the team beyond DPS ? E.G. A some blaster takes up all the powers in the Medicine pool What if this petless mastermind was providing you with 600% of regeneration to the whole team, 20 points to ALL defenses to the whole team, Status protection to the whole team, -30 all defenses to enemies, -1000% regeneration to enemies. Because then your statement and stance this isn't about petless mastermind its more about any build that you don't think conforms to your play style or meet your requirements as properly speced for that archtype. What if the petless mastermind could take down a Pylon ? Is that the seal of approval ? Trust me I get what your saying. But there are so many variables you are NOT considering or can defend that your response is just off the mark. If you can tell me you know every build of every player that is on your team and league every time you play and approve of all their builds and can exercise some control over them and their ability to be on the team, then you got me. But the simple reality is you don't, you really don't look. You really don't care as long as you can complete whatever it is your doing. You really don't care that the blaster on your team with the whole medicine pool died a million times and ressed you the 2 times you did. Because your team was still able to complete that speed run ITF. If someone says Speed ITF and I can't do it with my build then I don't join. But if they are looking for a last player for 10 minutes I will PM that player and make my statement and let him choose to give me that last spot. Which by your statement you could never do a speed ITF on your mastermind because you would be useless. Or anything where pets are an issue.. EG TPN. Or just about ANY map where pets run around and pull aggro. And I don't want to make this into some big BS debate. I just think the response was a bit short sighted.
  14. Was on my demon traps (Getting him to 50 for the petless build) also on the team was thug mastermind. Cave mission came up, one player complained overall just being on the team with masterminds basically tolerating it but cave mission was the last straw. He left. Another member on the team ( the Tank ) complained as well. I expressed no hard feelings and left the team because I knew the team was gonna fall apart if stuff went bad in the cave. And I just really didn't want to be on a team where I really wasn't wanted. I took a screen shot to show the chat, but of course I found out later the screen shot via print screen strips chat window out of the picture. Jumped on the MSR running. Got 3 levels and 3000 V merits. Maybe the Thug Mastermind will read this and verify the incident.
  15. Funny I had a Robot FF Mastermind and I hated it.. But back then you had to bubble each one. and then Tankermind concept came out. Then I started enjoying him again.
  16. Hell on Earth I discovered works on any pet. I have accidentally used hell on earth on my Acid Mortar. On my Demon Pain Semi-Petless mastermind ( Demon Prince only ) I discovered that I could NOT keep him in bodyguard mode. Because he would just about instantly die or almost die on the initial attack. What I had to do was just keep him aggressive and attack a mob and point him at that mob. So basically I would attack. He would attack. Kin Build I have a DP Kin and I had a very hard time getting him close to defense cap. I don't know if Whips Kin would get you near cap. Would have to play around with the build. You still won't benefit anything for endurance until level 35 when you get Transference. The more I look at Kin the more interesting it gets. Because I know just saying Kin will get you a team all the time. Which Ancillary/Epic is the best for DPS I think the Ancillary/Epic pools is where you need to look and test which is the best for DPS or at least just overall benefit to a petless mastermind. Again I can see an advantage to both. Dropping mines even defense capped can be a pain in the backside. You 1 point of damage breaks the placement and I think you loose endurance as well. Oppressive Gloom stun really helps break that. But Field Master might have better attacks/DPS. Here is my Whip Traps Dark as a comparison to the Field Mastery. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1470;682;1364;HEX;| |78DA6594D94F135114C6EFB453B1506C2B94B21481B2145B1DA89AE89B89A246A54| |A82F1954C608049DA69D325821BE0F2CE1A8DF1D105DC9E707B52DFDC1ED59888DB| |1FA0F2E08B6B3DCC77A44D66D299DFDCEF9E73EE77EF9DDBD84897EBCEBE899D42F| |2EC8EAB994C5F4CCD64B5744237061C317548EFB70BBA4AE86E2AF4F4F5E61289A4| |A17469F4E4866E0CF98A2276E506079523693595F1EE3786B5B4666495FF2FE53DC| |9645CD9AB0F0D6729ABD46CF5A6346DC06DBE766BEA8096CE0CEB29AFD98EA9869E| |CAC5D5AC9E34027B527ABF52EC24998BB3E7D16A72D94AF7458FE02BEF10F3B2105| |159AC5B003D379837C1F5B798B7C151B928775232B5C629B0699A39C39C055BE6C0| |4B34AEC4B9D224EAD9A698D3A03CC39C655F73E071821DB9C2FED96E6A274873409| |31D0731C69A6E660C741D026B0F83973DD8AD150F258BA8BDF62EF31E587A9FF900| |743D044F129C3C9EF3A94D887A59B43D633E07432FC0C697A08D062B63DF6579BA8| |49D94727319F252F916CCA4DA2F99D1A7680437FA6C6E1F1C5756323DA04CF95E8E| |F1724C35C7D472CC69AA53C14E2B5EC1C9C6D7CC37CCB760F8A7CDCC09525D1FFBF| |24584A98598CDD4E7473D9BDF89F8CD4B60E33BD04B3135ECAB867D85D94F98FD8D| |91AF3A5EFDBA31688171E604B8E10CF32CF31C5841F5EB51DF517F05636EBACABCC| |6BCCEDEE6990B602DE536F02E3464A08D9397207B09FE82D6FC9BF987F9176CC933| |05F6EB911D276965AEAD41686D3BC0D076F031A19DD7B3FD073542B2887E47DF134| |284F727B204ADE33DF30318FDC8FC042EBB8450B89E3282EFA5E318D842F3EBE4F9| |759E87D740E1A4D26FE5CB0B5B944E8B12B5285B2DCA368BD26D51620525DF23AF9| |E7B2199BDDF4A49E1B988A3D8DFAA0392B9465F0B7D5C6BB938FA026657350D7EB1| |443B3DABFF14F97FED54FE34| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  17. Since I didn't see it mentioned. Super Speed plus stealth IO gives you stealth against regular mobs. So as long as you have SS running you can stand next to them with zero issues. Though high perception mobs like Rikti Drones and some Corsair mobs can see you.
  18. I would look at the thread down below this I just posted in.. There are enough AR Device builds there to give you ideas.
  19. To ME.. The best secondary is the one that gives me Range Defense cap and allows me to maybe get Melee & AOE defense capped via Hail of bullets defense buff. Without having to use a power that requires an Anchor to get a hit debuff like from dark as an example. Again that is MY personal choice. That being said. I had a semi- petless ( Last pet only ) DEFENSE CAPPED demon pain mastermind that I wanted to get incarnates on. I slotted SO in the build and did all my incarnates to get to T3. Never had an issue. No one ever looked at my build live in game and said hey you have not set bonuses. So my point is best is really objective. I would rather do 100 points less damage on a power but be alive all the time then trying to be a glass cannon for example. Because in big content your useless. In big content you loose defenses. In big content mobs are much tougher. Which means you won't kill them and they will hit you back and kill you because your not capped at all with a glass cannon. At least I can eat 1 or even 2 luck inspirations to shore up the debuffs. You get it. The glass cannon has to eat at least 4 luck. Personally when I see someone die several times I look at their build and look at their set bonuses real quick. Most are frankenslotting for recharge and dps. Which is fine. UNTIL you pull aggro. I had about 20 lvl 50s and I did exactly that, frankenslotted for best DPS and recharge. Then I seen another guy with a similar build and he was just crushing the content while I kept dying. I asked him and he said defense cap. I was what is this magic defense cap ? I went to the forums, did searches. Went to the Wiki pages and BAM... It all clicked in.. I was a born again defense cap players. I spent the next several months running content to redo my builds on all my toons that I could get defense cap on.
  20. Whip Traps, defense cap with Soul Mastery. Oppressive Gloom is good when defense capped. It just really clears up or stops a lot of that aggro that just makes dropping Trip Mines that much easier. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1458;672;1344;HEX;| |78DA6593C94F13511CC7DFB453B1A5486B293B02A5506C75A06AA23713458D4A950| |4E3954CE80093B4D3A64B0437C0E5CE1A8DF1E8026E27D7937A733BAA3111B73F40| |E5E0C5B5FE98EF4FDB64269D7EE67DDF6FF9BEF76662A33DEE5B7B26B70BC9B333A| |166B30331359BD33249DD883B62EAB03E68177495D1DD5A9C19E8CF27932943E9D1| |E89F07BA31EC2F89D8911F1A520E65D474D6BBD718D1329A9153FE3D54F4A552096| |5B73E3C92A32C9739EA4F6B5ABCD27CECD5D4B896C98EE869AF398EA9869ECE27D4| |9C9E321A77A5F541A5D4492A9F60CF63B5E43248F7798FE0ABE0100BB2105159AC5| |9043DD798D7C1B5379837C131B924774A32B59669B0758639CB9C0383F3E005EA2B| |71AE34857AB669E60C28CF32E7D8D73C78946047AEB07FB29BDA31D21CD064C77EF| |458D5CB8C81EE0360FD41F0A207A7B5E2A1EC366AAFBEC3BC0BBAEE31EF83EE07E0| |718293FB399FD884689245C753E63330F41C6C7901DAA85939FB2E2FD025ECA4549| |8DB50902A366125B53592197D823A5462CE56E987E3AA2AA6079429DFCB315E8EA9| |E5987A8E3949757CECD4F7124ED6BF62BE66BE01C33F6C664E80EAFAD9973F224C2| |DC46CA3B91AD4B3D53811BF71096C790B7A29A68E7DD5B1AF30FB09B3BF71F2D5C0| |BBDF300EAD71823909AE3BC53CCD3C03FAA87E13EA3B9A2EA1E786CBCC2BCCABEC6| |D81B908D6536E339F427316DA047909B097C04F686DBF98BF997FC0608129705E0F| |09EDBC1FED01681DDBC0D056F011A193F7B3F33B0D42B2887EC3DC634284CF27B20| |4ADEB1DF33D18FDC0FC082EBB8550B89E328AF7A5EB0818A4F575F3FABACFC26B63| |F14BA5DFCA9B17B628DD16256A51365B942D16A5D7A2C48A4AA14FFEFFDD0BC99CF| |DEA122C15247118E75BBD4F32F7E84B718E6B2D97469FC3EAAA67C0CF96E8BF1198| |FC15| |-------------------------------------------------------------------| ************************************************************************************************************************************************ Whip Traps Defense cap with Field Mastery. 21. @Crysis see in the OLD post you posted screenshots of the numbers. I am not grasping the numbers because MIDS / Pines is not adding up the numbers correctly. Though the screenshots are helpful in seeing the numbers. I guess what is the time interval you have to pop these powers to max. EG I have a similar Kludge on my DP Kin, where Hail of Bullets gets me the melee and AOE defense cap. But sometimes surviving to pull of Hail of Bullets can be an issue on big fights. Mostly Incarnate and AE Farms.
  22. There should be a Sticky on what just cannot be done in game. And maybe a rating of could be asked for based on difficulty / time consuming. The suggestions and Feedback is great but honestly what is the point if more then half are just impossible. Or maybe request a way for Suggestions to be listed.. EG the title should have a specific format. The first few lines should have a certain format. This way this data could be collected and reviewed. EG after 30 days the biggest request is about Base Storage. The 2nd request is about Blaster power sets and within those Blaster request a majority are about Knockback.
  23. Basically, this computer pulls all the data from the Salvage Storage Shelves and puts it all in one place. You still have to put the Salvage in on the Shelves but the computer allows you to PULL salvage and you can sort like you can in your personal salvage inventory. Rarity, Amount, ETC.. Or add another tab to the Invention computer where your salvage is. Or yet again the Invention computer pulls automatically from the Combined Salvage Storage. If you can make it, it is highlighted if you can't then you know out of all that storage you missing something. Currently I have Salvage stored on AH on several toons. This would be a great way to for me to see that within all the salvage I have 20 Lucky Charms stored but only 2 spell scrolls for example and I know I have 10 sitting on AH for storage. Currently I have to run from bin to bin. OR start breaking the bins down by color and alphabet. I do my house keeping but I would rather be playing COH instead of City of Base inventory.
  24. Yea As an example for everyone but Masterminds Dual Wield Endurance 6.86 Empty Clips Endurance 10.19 Masterminds Dual Wield Endurance 8.58 Empty Clips Endurance 18.98 As per MIDS/PINE
  25. See on any defense capped build I like Oppressive Gloom, especially on Robot Traps because it allows me to drop trip mines as mobs get stunned. Less mobs attacking. Less chance of streak breaker occurring. Less interrupt on trip mines. Everyone has a different idea.
