  1. Hell no and no again. Better to have no voiceovers than bad voiceovers, and bad voiceovers is exactly what you'd get with this. Not to mention the noise-stacking effects this game has when a power affects a lot of targets at once are already borderline ear rape. Stacking NPC chatter is a good way to ensure a lot of people never load up Homecoming again.
  2. Or we could do the intelligent thing and just give /Dev back its working capstone power.
  3. End drain and mez spam. Bad enough when you have one mob in a spawn that does it, but when entire factions have one or the other (or both, for Malta) as their entire gimmick ... ARGH! "You don't get to play right now" is about the worst thing you can do to a player. Seriously, what's the point of even accepting a mission when 30-50% of your button presses are going to do NOTHING?
  4. And that's different from any game/class with minions how exactly?
  5. "Make the game harder for no good reason." Hell no.
  6. The problem is, an ability that effectively says "press this button to die soon" is not an emergency button. It's a suicide button. If T9s didn't blow up one or both of your bars, they'd be valid emergency buttons. As-is, you're just opting to die in a later spawn instead of the current one, at best.
  7. Crashing armors are the same as crashing nukes: a waste of code at best, "click here to die" at worst. The only way to make these things worth taking is to get rid of the crash.
  8. Crashes are bad game design regardless of when they become available. You want to make T9s worth the code space they take up? Ditch the crash.
  9. To his deaf friend. Who told the legless person that ran down the street.
  10. Since everyone else has the mushy stuff covered already ... 'Nuff said.
  11. Agreed. Why does a mission-critical, EXTERNALLY PROVIDED gadget drain my stamina to use? It's idiotic.
  12. Such a heavily-reinforced structure also explains why the building is still standing after a string of battles involving super strength, high explosives, and gravity-warping.
  13. They put a taunt effect on one of the squishiest summons in the game, thereby guaranteeing it would never do enough to justify its End cost. There's no way in hell they didn't realize that was a nerf. Leave the naivete in the children's cartoons.
  14. Is it wrong that I saw the thread title and - just for a second - wondered why someone was compiling names of ballerinas?
  15. Pfffft. Even in countries that give a flying fuck about workers' rights, that's not gonna happen.
  16. Kinda ridiculous to finally make /Dev a useful secondary and then immediately nerf its capstone power to the ground. Even more ridiculous to pretend that nerf is somehow a buff. Scrap this garbage and give us back the REAL Gun Drone power.
  17. You have a REALLY broad definition of "problematic" if it's happening that often.
  18. This. FFG is basically worthless outside soloing because it can't keep up with the caster's base run speed, much less the "Leeroy Jenkins on crack" pace groups expect.
  19. More hair options, especially longer hair, and separate hair from headwear. That should never have been a thing. Not everybody who wears a hat has a buzzcut! Speaking of hats, ballcaps would be nice. Also sombreros and other large hats would be good for laughs.
  20. This is WAY overdue. Certain sounds in this game are outright deafening, and no, turning down the volume EVEN FURTHER is not a viable solution, so STOP SUGGESTING IT! I am sick to death of being accused of having my volume too high when any other game on my PC would be inaudible at the settings I play CoH on. If your idea of fun involves damaging people's hearing by spamming Foot Stomp or whatever, you are on my shitlist. If that offends you, you deserve it.
  21. You're imagining things - there is no power named "Serum". On an unrelated note, the Mercs primary needs a ninth power to bring it in line with other MM primaries.
  22. Seriously, prestige can go straight to hell and stay there, along with anything resembling it.
  23. Khelds do not even come close to being strong enough to justify having a hard counter pop up randomly among otherwise normal enemies. Quants are an artifact of the same design paradigm that had characters struggling to take down 3 minions, and it's past time they joined the rest of Jack Emmert's stupid ideas in the garbage heap.
