my signature on the official forums had the line "What this team needs is more Defenders" I need to figure out how to add that here. -
each AT here has a breakdown of usefulness, I don't feel like converting to 0-255, but I pretty much agree with it. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Archetypes Also, you have to look at specific ATs, Tanks, for example are going to have better Armor than Stalkers.

remember, it's Endmod/Increased Recharge. Drop that sucker in Stamina (if you're not slotting for something else) and bam, permanent. that being said, I think it's mostly useful on toons like Stone Tanks/Brutes. -

Repeat Offenders has an entire super group dedicated to Rad called Faithful Fans of Fallout. Unfortunately full teams of rads aren't as common as they were on live, we can call out for them in our global channel and can usually get a few together. -
I usually slot SMotT in the first two powers, as those are the ones you'll be firing off more. you can usually get 2 stacks of them that way and with any luck, 3.

what is your end goal with the build? Fissure and Seismic Smash really need to be 5-6 slotted to be great powers I don't know a whole lot about Ice control, so I can't suggest powers from there, but without removing anything, here's a build with a lot more defense Controller - Ice Control - Electrical Affinity.mxd

that's not giving a sense of accomplishment, if anything it's giving more of an incentive to farm, since that's the most efficient way to get purples.

The only thing I want to see buffed (or perhaps its a bug, never got word on this) is that I want it to work on pets. I've tried casting it on Animated Stone several times and never seen the Discharge text.

I don't have too much of a problem with original teleport. Here's a video I have from live of me doing a click-only (no bind) teleport from one corner of IP to the other, took just under 6 minutes... Try that with another travel power https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXYYZ9ysToQ Sorry for the poor quality, as I said, it was from the original game on live, so resolution sucked. I haven't seen Jaunt, so I can't speak for that, and I certainly wouldn't complain if the animation was to speed up, but I don't think it's *that* slow -

Oppressive Gloom is a great power for survivability, and it takes a minimal number of slots (though you can do some cool things if you actually slot it). A lot of times I 1 slot it with just an Acc/Mez HO and call it a day. I haven't played Spines/Dark (way too end heavy for my preference) so I really can't comment too much on a build.

I've been working on an Elec/Regen build. Essentially I was told this is possibly one of the worst powerset combinations in the game, which naturally drew me toward it. I have 2 builds, one that I've been actively working toward and the other which is significantly more expensive but provides a lot more damage mitigation. My question is, which build is going to put out more damage. To me, it appears the build I was given does not have a full attack chain, meaning less damage, but perhaps I'm missing something. I'm going to agree that you don't need that much recharge. Just as a comparison, here is my Bio/Spines build, it caps E/N/F/C defenses and give s a touch more S/L resist at the expense of non-S/L resist. Just to throw this out there, the origin powers for technology and magic do energy damage, which will ignite OSA

Not sure if this is a bug or if it's intentional, but Amp Up does not seem to work on controller pets, I've used it for a good hour on animated stone and have not seen Discharge once and the hold from his attack doesn't seem to be any longer.
