  3. I think my issue with damage is not the 1-time hit and do a bunch of damage, it's the DoTs that hit really hard that bother me, because they avoid the anti-one-shot code. These seem to be more rare, so I'm not complaining about them, just saying that is a bigger issue than the Total Focus/Knockout Blow/Energy Transfer powers.
  4. I'm not sure if this will do it or not. 1. Log into a villain 2. Log out to the character select screen 3. Choose "create new character" I know if you log out of a villain, you'll hear the villain music. I'm just not sure if it will carry over to the character creator.

  7. I've got a kinetic/energy brute. Probably my first toon to get fully T4'd with incarnates. Although KM is considered weak among melee sets, it is still perfectly functional. If concept is king, I think you'll find KM/Energy to be a fun combo. Necro/poison may be another story, however. My experience with poison on non-MMs is pretty good, but I don't have much experience with it on MMs. The biggest difference (other than debuff strength) is MMs get Noxious Gas, as opposed to Venomous Gas. NG gets cast on a pet, has a long recharge, and none of the debuff is enhanceable. VG is a pbaoe toggle where the to hit and defense rebuffs are enhanceable. NG really needs some love.
  8. If you remove SOs, you're just going to end up with people above 35 having empty slots, which doesn't sound much fun.
  9. Against clumps of Cimerorans you're dealing with stacks of Phalanx Fighting, which is going to make hitting them harder. But that's going to be across the board, not just to one damage type. BS has a base accuracy of 1.05, which is the same as MA and Katana

  14. Going to have to disagree, @tidge Venomous Gas is basically the reason to take poison at all. I have mostly done poison defenders, so I don't really know it on controllers, but VG is basically the entire reason my poison defendets *can* solo.
  15. Hydra do toxic damage, which is Electric's big hole. If I remember correctly, ELA get 0 toxic resist.
  16. You're confligrating things and I think you're confusing people. The power Stealth gives a bonus to stealth (55 feet in PvE) this is not slottable/enhanceable It also gives defense (depending on AT modifier) Both the stealth radius and the defense drop "in combat". The stealth radius becomes 0 feet and the defense drops to that of what Combat Jumping or Hover provide. It *sounds* like you're saying the defense bonus goes into "in combat" numbers, but you are saying its stealth is dropping. The defense dropping would likely be because of this line in Stealth's data source.EventTimeSince>CommandedPet > 10 There are also lines about dealing with pseudopets which might have something to do with it.
  17. You can't enhance recharge bonusus, recharge enhancements would only affect the recharge of Shifting Tides. similarly, you can't enhance the +damage bonus, slotting damage will only improve the damage that Shifting Tides has a chance of doing.

  20. To my knowledge, time defenders aren't soloing AVs without incarnates/temps. Rad defenders, however can and are. Base, Radiant Aura can heal 16.73 HP/second at level 50 Base, Temporal Mending can heal 11.53 HP/second at level 50 So Randient Aura actually heals more over time than Temporal Mending

  22. That is the expected behavior. At T4, the Barrier Core has the same duration and recharge. Therefore, if you set it to auto-fire it will be permanent.
  23. I certainly wouldn't complain if it got changed, but... It's nothing new Disruption Field, Sonic Repulsion, and Enflame are 3 examples I can think of where this also happens.
  24. You haven't addressed the issue of people who *want* to play on low population shards.
  25. Yes, disintegration and scourge are tracked separately, so they can both trigger at the same time.
