  1. There is always something urgent happening in Paragon City... The real question is why are the cops in the station so nonchalant about it?
  2. I would put TA into the first category. With the (not so recent) buffs to TA it is a great set for soloing and teaming. FF is better than it used to be for soloing with the 2 -res powers now, but I don't have much experience playing it since the buffs that happened in page 5, so I don't know if it should be in the first or second category. I would probably lean towards Traps as a primary if you want to solo. There are no teammate only buffs that would be pointless. My BR/Traps Corruptor is the only toon that I have soloed a GM with. Traps/water or Traps/Dark would be good for solo since both of those secondaries have self heals. Water gets Dehydrate earlier than Dark gets Life Drain, so probably point to Water.
  3. @Area Man Terrify (T8) does good AoE damage while being Mind's "every encounter" power. There are 2 problems with Terrify though. 1. Mass Hypnosis is your only reliable way of setting up Containment for it and 2. Terrify doesn't set up containment for the rest of the fight. I haven't played him since before Page 5, so my tactic will likely change, but my Mind/FF used to start every fight with this combo Mass Hypnosis->Terrify->Repulsion Bomb. With the FF changes, I suspect the new start should be Force Bomb->Mass Hypnosis-> Terrify The reason for this change is that Force Bomb now has -Res to it, however, since the damage got lowered, you want to use this before MH so you don't waste the Containment potential of Terrify (which I slot with Dam/Mez HOs).
  4. Some melee power sets do have a ranged attack. What powers would you have removed to fit in a ranged attack on other sets? Also, there are ranged attacks in a few pool sets you could always use. A third of FF targets enemies, additionally there is a toggle that affects enemies. Hurricane, Gale, and Tornado are all part of the Storm Summoning set.
  5. If you want solid solo play, look at the following primaries: Dark Electric Nature Poison Radiation Storm Time Traps Trick Arrow All of the sets will perform well on teams. As for secondaries, pick whatever sounds cool/thematic to your character.
  6. You're in the Corruptor forum; therefore, Corruptors are better than Blasters.
  7. I haven't run my Mind/FF for a while, but it was my namesake on live. Before the buffs to FF, I would say that it was an underrated combination. So take that and include the buffs to FF and you've got yourself a winning combination.
  8. This is what I want to see, though I suspect it would take a lot more work than it's worth.
  9. I think the Mu Mastery version has double the recharge of the Electric Mastery version though.
  10. Level 1-10 gets free costume changes.
  11. Don't use double XP. BAM! fun time doubled.
  12. There is a Google doc in the first post of this thread it shows pictures of the various tier 4 lore pets.
  13. I got a badge on logging in to my toons.
  14. Santa Claws
  15. I never got a SS very far until this guy. He originally had Rage in his build. I ended up not using it like ever because it turned out I didn't like the mechanic, I later Respec'd out of it. I've got several Street Justice toons, I like the set but it doesn't quite have the same crunch as SS. EM seems to be the only set that has comparable crunch to SS, at least for me.
  16. Ice/Storm corrupter. You get Ice Storm, Blizzard, and Freezing rain for lots of numbers popping up.
  17. Doesn't sound like the OP is looking for another either/or situation, but is instead looking to rearrange the power order in the set. To which I have to vote no
  18. I use the defender ato with the chance to heal in one of my TA/A's attacks. Healing Arrow FTW!
  19. This was my first thought as well
  20. Are you talking about the phantom pets? They are based around the original phantom army pets in illusion, and I happen to use them in just that way. So I'm against changing their look.
  21. Anything you happen to deem cool, regardless of how powerful it is.
  22. I partially like the ground punch varient
  23. That's actually very interesting. I wonder why there is such a large discrepancy between Savage Melee and Psi melee
  24. Ooh, another one! I find DP/Ninja training satisfying too.
