I'm sure that build will work, but here's mine for comparison (currently level 42 and a beast)

I would tend to go Defender, but in the case of TA/AR I think I would go Corruptor because AR's secondary effects won't be impacted by the higher defender values (ie: AR is basically 100% damage). This is a combo I've always wanted to do, ever since AR was proliferated to Defenders, but for some reason I never have run it... hmm, perhaps it's time for another alt.

2 things... In Before Lock Can I have your stuff?

Disable Destiny Incarnate (Barrier) visuals?
Psyonico replied to Autumn's topic in General Discussion
nope. -
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but here's my build, has a bit more F/C/Psi resist than the one above (but slightly less S/L/E/N) and at 38 I don't have too many end issues, not relying on One with the Shield or Recovery Serum. I've also squeezed a bit more defense into the build to act as a buffer for -def debuffs.
-
I've wondered about Acid Arrow... do you need to fire it before Flash Arrow for the -res to take effect, or if you go Flash->Acid will the debuff still be stronger?

Wild Growth - 90 seconds Overgrowth - 60 seconds

Ok, I just copied a character over to the test server to find out exactly how this functioned, it appears the Fortunata keeps it active for about 10-15 seconds then it turns off and you wait for the 15 second recharge before it gets activated again.

Stealth grants you enough +Stealth to not be seen by (most) enemies Infiltration is a Movement power akin to Athletic Run/Ninja Run, however, it also grants some stealth (about half of what Stealth gives) Grant Invisibility is a click power that grants a teammate enough +Stealth to not be seen by (most) enemies.

AoE Confuse comparisons - which one is the best?
Psyonico replied to malleable1's topic in Controller
There is no such thing as Wind Control in Homecoming. Electric control is a bit of a weird thing, as the confuse is a chain, so you have to wait for it to chain across enemies if you want its full effect, which teams won't do. Arctic Air in Ice has a *chance* to confuse, so it's not really something that's all that reliable, and requires you stack other controls on top of it to really get the full effect. It's still a good power though. Mind Control... I love mind control... but Mass Confusion is not up every group... your every group controls are Mass Hypnosis (mostly useless in groups) and Terrify. In most of my mind experience I switch between Total Domination and Mass Confusion and then if the group is really running fast, Terrify as my 3rd group power giving the other two time to recharge. -
Looking at the Fortunata pet in game, it says it has Mind Link as a toggle with a 15 second recharge. Does the pet keep Mind Link on most of the time or does it toggle it off and on again regularly?

AoE Confuse comparisons - which one is the best?
Psyonico replied to malleable1's topic in Controller
Plant probably comes out on top mainly due to the Recharge to Duration and lack of an accuracy penalty. Mind is my favorite because it does not notify enemies, meaning you can cast it aggro free. -
Your name becomes "Generic123456" or rather a random number, and your costume gets set to the basic cleared. I'm not sure if there is a penalty for multiple generics.

Sorry, but I dislike the change to Invisibility
Psyonico replied to Weatherwoman's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Stealth provides the amount of +stealth needed to be invisible to anything that doesn't have a perception bonus now. I don't quite understand your issue. -
While I'm not necessarily against the idea, considering you can only have 1 patron pool, I don't see why it really matters.
-
Just remember that you can be influenced by a comic book hero, but if it's too close, you could get Generic'd

Deities and Demigods and where are they at?

I literally just rolled one of these last night... On Live I had a Stone/ELA Brute though and he was fairly solid. I re-rolled as a tank last night because I wanted to try Elec armor on tanks and the numbers look pretty good, you can cap resist to everything but Toxic and Negative energy with the right build, so it should be pretty unstoppable in most content.

I haven't played EM on a stalker, but here's the way it works on Tanks: Total Focus stores up a charge, this can be released using Barrage: gives a 100% chance to stun (mag 3 I think) and gives the attack -100% regen Energy Transfer: decreases the activation time significantly (I don't know the exact number).

I've got an Ice/Spines and a Bio/Spines both incarnated... they aggro about equally and survive about equally. TBH, I haven't found a tank combo yet that really struggles too much with Aggro and/or survivability, though I'm always up for a challenge if someone says "this combo is garbage!"

Yes, if a hero wants patron pools, they have to turn villain, run the arc (or at least the last mission of the arc) then go back hero... they can keep those powers. Here's my SD/Rad build, he's only 31, but doesn't have any end issues since slotting Panacea/Miracle Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.7.2.10 https://github.com/Crytilis/mids-reborn-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build!
