  1. Here is what I came up with, I moved a few powers around because I'm leveling this toon, so I wanted to have certain powers taken as soon as possible. I'm also debating between Defibrillate and Maneuvers, as a little extra defense is always good. I opted for Super Jump/Combat Jumping instead of Fly/Hover because Hover is pretty slow without the extra slots you had in there for movement speed. Thunderdome Referee - Controller (Ice Control).mxd
  2. I like the idea, and I'm going to steal it, just want to make a couple changes to a few things. I don't necessarily see a whole lot of things to change, but I would like to fit Cold Snap into the build. I think what I'll do is drop Chilblain, take Mental Blast instead of Indomitable Will, and take Cold Snap instead of Chilblain. Then steal slots from Fly/Hover to slot out Cold Snap. I know I won't have capped F/C resist anymore (at least, before the Scaling Damage IO kicks up more than the 3%) but the extra control of Cold Snap just seems hard to pass up. I'll work on the build then post it here as well.
  3. Veles is tough, but I played that arc with a mind controller once and found her was a lot easier with the Grave Knight confused.
  4. That's really not true. Most Tanks can get a cone or PBAoE by 20
  5. Gauntlet's power doesn't have a to-hit check, however, the attack you use has to hit for gauntlet's AoE to fire.
  6. Poison plays best in melee post Venomous Gas though. I agree fire/dark would be better than fire/poison, but you would have 2 PBAoEs with fire/poison.
  7. Depends on what your want to do with it... I've been eyeing an Earth/Cold for a couple days, myself.

  10. So, remember, you can't enhance -recharge in powers. So you might be able to floor movement speed with something, but recharge will still have resistances. That being said, PBU + benumb is a thing of glory
  11. Confounding Chant. A word of warning, however, as that plus the fear are the two main AoE controls you have. So you may do more damage, but the mobs might become un-stunned before you defeat them.
  12. Like every other controller set, Symphony doesn't do much damage by itself. Mine is only 27, so I don't have any high level experience with it yet. The damage in the confuse and Arcane bolt will make up most of your damage. You're going to want to team with it, especially if your secondary is /Sonic.
  13. I'm running Linux and the export function doesn't work right. You should be able to open the mdx file with something like notepad though
  14. Here's my first pass at a Symphony/Sonic, soft capped S/L/E defense with respectable N/F/C defenses, should be moderately successful at damage as well. I'll probably keep tweaking the build a bit more. Controller - Symphony Control - Sonic Resonance.mxd
  15. Yeah, they are the 7(?) Lost leaders from the various lowbie zones.
  16. Venomous Gas + Weaken (hitting splashed targets) can do ~22% to-hit debuff without slotting. With slotting you can get pretty good numbers on that for splashed targets. That combo also provides about 36% -damage to splashed targets. Really the only thing that poison particularly needs is bigger AoEs for Envenom and Weaken.
  17. Toxic Dart is actually a pretty good attack. It's very fast animating. The thing is, it's a long DoT.

    Here is some food for thought on secondaries (in no particular order) Sonic - the resist debuffs added to Sleet and Heat Loss will help your team kill faster. Additionally, the page 4 rework means your boss have good AoE damage Dual Pistols - Chemical Rounds means your team is not only getting hit less because of your shields, but are taking less damage when the do get hit. Dark - the to-hit debuffs mixed with your shields will help, you also get a self heal.
  20. Once Mids is updated, I plan on quickly making a build for my symphony/sonic and then I'll post it here.
  21. And TA has oil slick arrow, unfortunately, both come at 35, so it takes a while to get your damaging help
  22. As @Carnifax said, Ice control does very little damage. I tried soloing my ice/ta the other day (which has arcane bolt) and was pretty painful. that being said, ice's control is now way better than it was, so you'll be able to solo safely at least.
  23. I don't remember seeing any info on when it would happen, but my guess it's it would be in the next major update. Which went live in November of last year. If that's the case, and looking at the time frame between page 3 and page 4, you probably have several months before that happens.
  24. Interrupt time is a thing, and it's really annoying.
  25. Sure, but if you're pugging, you're not always going to get 2 colds.
