that's what I thought, I haven't been converting up to this point I am running a Katana/DA scrapper on reunion named Ghost Legacy.

This thread is already 13 pages. Are we allowed to inspiration convert? I don't think that was a thing when I started. (Issue 4)

I never really paid attention that closely. But because Empowering Circuit is a buff power from the secondary, meant to buff the robots, I just assumed the Gaussians would give them a BU when it fires. EDIT: No you're right, it gives me the BU. I just checked.

My thought as well, with 3 battle drones vs. 1 assault bot, I would think it would fire more therefore seems like a no brainer. I always boost the Assault Bot with Empowering Circuit, which has a Gaussians Chance for BU in it.

My Bots/ElecAffinity pets are slotted with these special procs: Battle Drones: SoulBound Alleg Chance for BU; Sudden Accel KB to KD; Superior Mark of MM Endurance&Pet +Resist +Regen Aura Protector Bots: LotG Defense + Global Rech; Sudden Accel KB to KD; Sov. Right +Resist; Superior Comm of the MM Pet +AoE Def Aura Assault Bot: Sudden Accel KB to KD; 5 slots remaining with Expedient Reinforcement Set which includes Pet + Resist Aura Elec Affinity Secondary is a Resistance and Healing set. Deploy Faraday Cage all the time. It makes all the difference.

This toggle power can slot End Reduction, but doesn't appear to cost any endurance to run. Is this correct? What should I put in the base slot then?

Don't be seen first. Do not become targeted or attacked prior to firing off your first attacks. Be proactive with your inspiration usage. Whenever I fail as a blapper/blaster it is because I neglected those first 3 truths. EDIT: Once you are attacked, make the foe regret the decision to come and melee you.

I have never felt the need to obtain Task Force Commander on any of my characters. (I think on live, I only had it on one, perhaps obtained through blind dumb luck, who knows) The reward is not worth the effort, obviously. Perhaps a new reward that would make us WANT to complete the TFs? No idea what that would be and not sure if I am in the minority here or not. Could a new reward system even be implemented easily?

COH is the most customizable game ever created and still outshines anything now out there, nothing comes close.

This is a necro posting from when I was first starting out with my Brute. Sounds like you're in the same boat I was in.

That's what I am coming to realize. Fold Space is ideally suited for a melee character, like a tank, scrapper or brute. Less so for a squishy corruptor.

Yeah I know. I just assumed that Fold Space had the same functionality when used on a single target. My character is a Traps Corruptor. I was thinking I could set up a Trap area out of sight, then TP the entire group into it. I can still do this, but only in a big room. Stealthily, but maintaining line of sight. Far enough away that Acid Trap wont fire, but within 100 ft. See? It'll work. Yeah I'll keep telling myself that.

OK so where TP Foe used to be able to stand around a corner out of sight and tp one foe to you, now its line of sight, and within 100 ft It will fire all every time even if nothing is within 100 ft. (No out of range warnings) ok got it. Not so sure this power is for me. The old TP Foe was much better, IMO.

Does this power WAI? I have a traps corruptor that took it. I set up a trap zone and try to Fold Space a small group of mobs into it and it never pulls anyone. What a dud power. Do I need 3 acc to make it reliable?

I am trying to revisit all the old stuff, but not all on the same character.

To say there is one optimal slotting that is best is really a naive undertaking. It depend on all your other power choices. It also depends on who you want to fight and what they are bringing to the table.

One toggle you all forgot: REST

I convert 95% Empy Merits into Rare or VR components, but will sometimes convert 1 or 2 into threads when I need common components and Ive run out. Also I check to see if I have enough Shards to convert into threads, sometimes I can do that and then I wont have to waste an Empy Merit. Last resort and all.

My only complaint and its not really a complaint, more of an observation.. On the mission where you have to beat the Freakshow EB (forget his name ATM sorry) on the old Freakolympics map. He has a sonic power to knock you back HARD and used it twice against my ice tanker. I was able to beat him with a Sentinel, a Corruptor, a Controller, and he never tossed me about, until I used the ice tank and I was like woah where did that come from? I didn't even know he had that power in his arsenal, then I wondered why he didn't use it against my other alts. Just hates Ice tanks I guess.

Release Candidate was superb. Just completed it with my Incarnate lvl Bots/EA mastermind. Kudos!

Just did #31010, on my Bots/EA MM. It was awesome, really enjoyed it. Final EB not too tough. Did die once in the last mission prior to EB fight, because my henchies went a little wacko with the aggro, but it happens sometimes.

Don't discount Ice Armor. I remember having a blast in the early game.
