  1. A stun + slow is almost as good as a hold.
  2. I play a character until he gets defeated, then rest him. Sometimes I need to put the character into a completely different situation, just to make it interesting again. For instance, I have a lvl 50 Fire/Savage tank that I can easily get burned out(yuk, yuk) doing fire farms, So I will exemp him through Ouro to say, lvl 19, and go burn up Lost and Trolls in Skyway. Just so I can remember what I loved about the combination. I do that instead of starting another Alt. (I only have 20 total over 4 shards). 11 of my 20 Alts are at some degree of incarnate. Playing only high level stuff gets boring. Incarnate power I am afraid trivializes too much. Then a defeat seems like "out of the blue, the game just cheated me, unfair". Time to do something different. This game is too good to get mad at because I got defeated once.
  3. I have 3 MM's and one dominator. All of the MM pets can be pushed out of the way or walked through. But of my Dark Dom pets cannot. Is this true for ALL dominator pets? or just Dark?
  4. I agree with the Sudden Accel KB to KD proc in the bots. I'd also put a stealth fly into hover. CC is a good pick(it'll be like Entangling Aura from Nature) for standing right with the bots, I think it'll still work if you hover close to the ground. (it's been a long time since I played a rad/rad defender, though, I might be mistaken)
  5. Boomtown would be completely rebuilt by now. And whatever that was in north Steel Canyon might have become part of it.
  6. I'm not voting Best or Worst here, just stating: My Bots/EA uses Charge Mastery for the hold, thunderstrike, and ESD. The hold is most useful. Thunderstrike is of course weak sauce, but it fits theme. ESD recharge is excessive but I do use it. I just found out that AmpUp doesn't buff my bots, so I might take Hasten to reduce the EMP recharge time. My Beasts/Nature uses Field Mastery for the TI shield only.
  7. I have 2 tanks with 6 unlocked incarnate slots. RadArmor/WM: Alpha - Musculature or Vigor Lore - Knives or Storm Elemental (just for the funz) Destiny - Ageless Interface - Preemptive Hybrid - Assault Judgement - Ion IceArmor/Stone: Alpha - Musculature Lore - Vanguard Destiny - Barrier (overkill?) Interface - Diamagnetic Hybrid - Melee Judgement - Cryonic
  8. Here I was casting AmpUp on my Assault Bot thinking it did something. Oh well, as a thematic power it works. (Just pretending here....role play and all that) If I was teaming with another MM and cast AmpUp on his pets, would it do anything then?
  9. A badge for badge-avoiding. You went to the Top of Atlas statue and did not get the badge. Therefore, here is a badge.
  10. Bicycle Repairman is saddened by this news. Heal up quickly hero! I will be here to tighten your spokes.
  11. I currently have 3 lvl 50. Rad Armor/WM on Indom. Ice/Stone on Everlasting. Fire Armor/Savage on Excelsior. A lvl 30 Elec/Elec on Torchbearer. All have their strengths/weaknesses, depending on who I am fighting. The Ice/Stone is my best build.
  12. I have a beast/nature that I fight right along with in melee. I know the beasts do all the damage but its all in the feelz. I even took 3 PP attacks to make a melee chain I could live with. My Bots/ EA is just set them to attack and then buff and heal them. My pew-pew gun is tres weak. But I add splash damage to stop a few stragglers from running too far. I just started a Merc/Poison that I'll probably delete as it is just too much like Bots/EA. No reason, really to continue.
  13. I only go in there to help kill the 2 GMs and then hopefully punch Sally once on the way out.
  14. Isn't that what inspirations are for?
  15. Just make it so you can't use it when you're dead.
  16. This is why I rarely respec, and when I do, I take a picture of my trays with my phone so I can put them all right back in the right order. To add to the discussion: If it hasn't been stated in the previous 9 pages (sorry if it has): Get rid of TO, DO, and SO origin specific enhancers. Make everything Generic IOs to start. Then make upgrades for the IOs to go up 5 levels. For instance you start with a lvl 5 ACC IO, you can slot at lvl 2. At level 7, upgrade it to a lvl 10. Repeat. As often as you need to get it to the number you want. Then when you get to lvl 40ish start replacing generics with IO that have set bonuses. A lot of players dont even slot TO and DO unless they drop. To replace those drops, just drop ingredients you need to upgrade the generic IO. Call them upgrade threads. Level 5 IO + 2 Upgrade threads ---> lvl10 IO. Level 10+4 Upgrade Threads -> Level 15 IO. Obviously still allow the normal way to create a lvl 30 Acc IO from normal ingredients. So when you get to adding that lvl 28 power choice you don't have to start with a lvl 5 IO enhancer and upgrade it 5 times.
  17. There just aren't a lot of options for MM. I 4 slotted it on my Beast/Nature. Which I play like as a Tankermind. It just does KD and not KB, so you just slot it for Acc and Dam and I fit some range in.
  18. Wall of Force is a decent choice for a melee MM. (yes there are some) For a Scrapper, it looks abysmal.
  19. 19 Alts/10 lvl 50s (3 Tanks, 1 Controller, 1 Sent, 1 Dom, 1 Brute, 1 Blaster, 1 Stalker, 1 MM) Only one is T4 incarnate x6 (77 Veteran Levels, last I checked) Half of the remaining are at least +3 lvl shifted the rest have at least Alpha t3 (+1 lvl shifted) All these level 50 incarnates, you'd think I'd join a TinPex but have never done one. Of the remaining 9, 1 (a second MM),I am for sure taking to 50, 1 Corruptor and one Defender who will probably never reach 50. The rest are just to join low level teams to help. What my play experience tells me. I enjoy teaming at low levels much more that post 50. Once I get to a certain point, I just do it myself. However, I can count on one hand the number of DFB I have done. I don't do many TF's. I always join in on Giant Monster kills though. More for the badge than for the Merits.
  20. Puts your KB right to sleep.
  21. OP many times. Thats why I don't do huge respecs anymore. I use my phone take a screenshot of my build, take a screenshot of my power trays. Respec to move that one slot that I accidentally over-slotted to another power. Move everything back. If I decide that I dont use a certain power, I might change it to another power that I think I would use more as long as I don't have to take slots from something else to make this power good enough to use. I used to play to 50 and then respec into Tough and Weave back when that was a thing. Now its really not, with incarnates and everything that can be boosted to ungodly strength with purple recipes or 50+5 enhancers.
  22. I looks sorta like a hockey puck underneath a blanket.
  23. I just did the Faultline arc for Penny Yin so I could unlock Mr. Yin's store. I had not don't that on any character on HC to this point. So...yay! lvl 17 Defender came in handy.
  24. Here's my perspective and what I can add: I never played a Brute on live, I never played Energy Melee on Live. I created an EM/Inv Brute on HC and he plays the way I think a Brute should play. Relentlessly attacking and punching foes in the face to build and maintain fury. With that said, he was tremendously an endurance hog leveling up. I could not really constantly attack and build and maintain Fury in my low 30s. Always stopping to rest just kills Brute momentum. All these ST attacks do not need to be this End heavy. Something felt way off leveling up. For instance. ST blasts on a blaster dont need ENDRDX, why should ST melee attacks on a Brute? I have played Scrappers that could attack constantly in their mid 30's, but not this Brute. NOw that he's incarnate its not an issue, but it was leveling up.
