  1. My Main is still my first character I played on live. Then he was an Invul/WarMace tanker. Now he is fully incarnated RadArmor/WM tanker on Indom. I made another Main as an Ice Armor/Stone Melee tank on Everlasting. All have/had the same look. Costume. Phrendon Largo is always going to be a tanker. He just has different flavors on each server.
  2. Level 50 Praetorian Family(the ones with the beam rifles) have to be some part of the zone, trying to control the goings on over near the sports stadium that's being built, perhaps in a battle with the Syndicate for control. Rogue Vanguard popping up instead of Malta. Hiding in back alleys and dark doorways.
  3. I still have my nerf bat. It'll be a set.
  4. My complaint about Darkness Control pets is that they block you. They cannot be moved or walked through to get through a doorway, for example.
  5. I dont fire farm, I energy farm. Same tired moon map. I do it because I don't have to seek it out. Its the easiest way to get inf to email my alts so I can play them the way I want to. I don't even care if I am the least efficient farmer, using the wrong map...etc. I found something that works and Im sticking with it. I definitely don't AFK farm.
  6. I am having a lot of fun with an Ice Armor/Stone melee tank. No sets so far (lvl 30) although I have added procs slow-smashing damage, End Mod + End. the typical stuff. I don't really worry about soft capped defense, I just eat a purple and use a blue drone if its not attacked prematurely. Cleaned out Boomtown in my mid to late teens, Warriors, Tsoo Freaks. Terra Volta Trench in mid to late 20s. Now 30 and in Crey's Folly. Just street sweeping and owning.
  7. I am working on Ice/Stone on Everlasting. Soloed him to 24 in about 3 days. Icicles baby. Slot that puppy up!
  8. No Ground Zero or Meltdown? hmm I start every fight with Particle Shielding and Ground Zero.
  9. If I buy it before lvl 50 I attune it. Some of the lvl 50's I plus 5 them if I think it will make a big difference. For instance, if I use a Dam/EndRdx, and thats the only end reduction in the power, I will +5 it to get the maximum End Rdx out of those slots.
  10. I have Kick, Tough, Weave, and Cross Punch from the Fighting Pool on my Energy Melee/ Inv Brute. CP is quite a good attack. Kick is the rarely used, filler attack, the Fatigue it causes is negligible. I use CP right in my main attack chain. If you recall EM's last couple of powers are long recharge attacks. I didn't take Haste on this character so I needed some filler, and CP fits the bill for me. Is it Optimal? I doubt it, but thats boring.
  11. Rikti know you hate it when they attack, that's why they still do it. Use reverse psychology, give them a hug.
  12. Welcome back. I play on Indomitable and Everlasting.
  13. I organize my tray when I can, but in mid mission, it gets impossible. Depending on if the character is resistance based or defense based, I keep oranges or purples stocked mostly. Anything else will get combined into oranges or purples eventually.
  14. It doesn't matter what character I am on, if I am passing through Talos, and I see a Yellow Ink Man, I punch it in the head. This goes all the way back to my first character I ever played on live. He was an invul tank, and I didn't understand that I needed my status resist yet, and I had to fight Tsoo missions and kept getting slept.. So yeah....I still hate Yellow Ink Men.

    Most resistant

My main is Rad/WM and he is a beast. Use orange inspirations. Learn to combine to stay stocked up. Don't need Tough. WM needs Hasten otherwise nearly a perfect build can be made with just Primary and Secondary. Take em all.
  16. I use it on my BeamRifle/Ninjitsu Sentinel. Love it.
  17. Dark/Martial is fun for me. Use Heart of Darkness with Caltrops, they wont wander far. I skipped the AoE Immob and AoE hold in the Darkness primary, focusing on being a single target focused Dominator. When I get too much aggro, then I bring out the pets. I took all the Martial Combat powers.
  18. I bought it and tried it, Experience Marksman Fast Snipe then immediately removed it. You lose your sniper damage ability. I guess if your are a PvP only blaster, this might be useful. For me, no thank you.
  19. One slot, I personally slot it for range. It improves its usefulness for me. Of couse, Im one of those old school tankers that still pulls on occasion.
  20. The yellow ring signal lets you know the snipe can be used in the middle of an attack chain and not be interrupted, it wont do as much damage, however.
  21. I tend to favor missions vs. Skulls-Tsoo-Freaks-Crey-Carnies-Malta. Just sick of Council, Rikti, Nemesis. The new TF that starts in Kallisti Wharf was great until I got to the end and realized I forgot to turn off Solo AVs. Capt Castillo as AV just silly soloing. I like the DE as a foe. The missions really need revamped. Those caves, after caves, after caves. Yeesh. Yes some are made of rocks, but some are plants that need sun, don't they? Outside, hint! Harvey M. and Indigo/Crimson I try to do their missions on every character. RWZ arc are so tedious. Except for Number 6. I have one character that like to do the FBZ missions and the Kora Fruit caves. My Ill/TA Controller has the tools to Battle the Rularuu.
  22. The games is not too easy, because I cannot solo +4/8 without inspirations. I can solo +4/8 with one character, using inspirations, but he is Tier 4 across the board. That seems like it's just right. I cannot say he never dies, because if I do not keep up with my combining, and judiciously use my buffs and self heals I can die. Things have to go just right. With that said, I usually run that one character, when I use him as a farmer, at +3/8 because I do not need it to be THAT challenging. It is challenging enough with my lesser characters, running at lower settings. I feel like this game is right at its sweet spot for most tasks. Some characters cannot solo well. I look at defenders, at least the sets I have chosen. 0/0 is a slow slog just soloing, but defenders really shouldn't solo. With that said, when the defender gets on a team of 8, I feel he looses his identity, he blows through content and doesn't need to use his powers correctly. So it's just not as fun for me. Therefore I just do not play defenders all that much. I dont know if this is a popular opinion, but it is what I observe. I play this game by feel, not by number crunching.
