I always like more options. I am a character creator. Give me limited options and there is only so much I can do. With CoHs many ATs, power options, and costume design choices there are many opportunities I wish there was MORE customization available. Fore with a secondary effect of -resist instead of +damage. Energy blast with a secondary effect of +damage instead of knockback. Etc. But the poor old games coding can probably only handle so much and the Devs time is a gift that is not infinite

I would like to welcome you to ROFLSTOMP play. This is by no means new. It is pretty much the final (current) evolution that started with Redside and Brutes If the above irritates you sorry. Not sorry. Ot is not the Brutes fault. They was built that way. You see back in the day Brutes were a LOT harder to play. No inherent fitness meant soaking valuable power picks into health to then pick stamina. Two picks required for a travel power. Mez protection not available until 14-18. Your only real ability was DAMAGE. Taunt was a luxury you could not afford. So…. To pump damage to the max you needed FURY. This was a bit harder to come by as well. And it decayed fast. So Brutes learned to cannonball fresh spawns to keep Fury pegged and damage at a good level. Teams followed the Brute. Period. Got no idea what the Tanks excuse is…..thinks they are a Brute? Addicted to ROFLSTOMP? After learning the ROFLSTOMP playstyle there is no going back. ROFLSTOMP is a helluva drug When you say “kill most” that means different things to different people. I will always love the original Mercy Island. Not the watered down version we currently have. The grim sordid petty little place where you busted out of prison and then started becoming a villain. Fort Darwin, my home, lost in time. I was quite impressed with Goldside. With a better understanding of the game, more time, more tools, the Devs really made a great environment there. I hate the political nature of Goldside. But the zones? Fuggedaboutit.

Always been a dream of mine that we were allowed to join multiple SGs. Happens in the comics all the time Then you could have a storage base and a social group. sigh.

I love your idea about "Found" and I would suggest you consider writing a short piece on the leadership, organization, and any early interior political schisms of the found. the group in a nutshell. from there you can build the group outwards, leadership (AV? Hero? GM???) and how the group communicates, and basically gets stuff done....

you can kickstart certain events in game by doing things like completing a LGTF. So.... But I am unsure of any event before Halloween. Seems a long way away.

No one is interested in making this type of MMORPG now. No one with cash. You are not going to find it. This reminds me of someone who wants the experience of travelling through the wild wild west. But they want to do it in a six wheel drive 30 ft camper with plumbing and a home entertainment system. I can relate. i hate sleeping outdoors. But the wild west only exists out there. they are not making any more of it and recapturing it is really just recapturing a thing that seems like a thing that someone thought was the wild west. It is gone my friend.

After listening to the feedback (and hopefully fixing the sliders) i have moved things around a bit. The Recharges in Dull Pain are placeholders for D-Sync Hamis Heal/Rech I am going Cardiac Core Alpha. Between that, Dark Consumption, and Conserve Power I (hope) there will never be an endurance issue. I shuffled the frankenslotting to bump Siphon Life's accuracy a bit. It looks like that barely affected the recharge on two powers. As both a hard hitter in the attack chain and a health sustain i want that hitting every time. Midnight grasp lost its purple set and got Superior Blistering Cold. This pumps the defense numbers at the price of a little Psi resist and a damage proc. But, tank first damage later for this build. If you get with a good crew then things like Dr Aeon (on easy mode) and ITF etc are remarkably fast. (like 15 min each) but i understand that can seem long sometimes too. and learning to do it that fast rather than just be dragging in the rear can be frustrating

i think it means progressively harder content. maybe the evil hard levels of Dr Aeon and 801 AEs? I run the game to run a super, so i avoid stuff that makes me feel like a Blaster in a Tankers world

they would probably kick me down a few hundred mil if i asked....they got some ebil markseteeers in the dugout. But they showed me how to make so much that i don't need it. you can only run so many dozen fully kitted out 50s before they all start to seem real similar....

This is an idea that I have played around with....forever. The core of this is a Hyperstrike durable template. then I started noodling. Two notes: The order of the power picks may change. Sigh. mids. Once you start it is horrid hard to rebuild if you change your mind. Secondly, and more important. The Dull Pain Random HOs are placeholders for D-Sync Hami O rech/heal. very important. If anyone could look this over and see if I missed anything, if they have a way to make this EVEN TANKIER or anything else I would appreciate it. I do like the conserve power a lot by the way. There are certain Incarnate Trial effects that are annoying. Also, any End drainers out there? Seriously? Drop fighting. While great for CoH it detracts from your goal. Not every comic book character is super tough. By picking up fighting you are leaning into game mechanics and away from concept. My two cents. Use those pools to get more stuff that enhances the concept. Take Magic pool. You get flight and teleport in one power. BAMPH. Now look at other pools where you can get as many powers as possible to reflect the everysupereverything concept as fast as possible

Having a well regulated voice channel, being necessary to the security of a free place to express oneself, the right of the people to keep and arm bears, shall not be infringed. Seriously though, I really appreciate the Cosmic Council Discord. BECAUSE it is so well regulated. There are officers who monitor what is going on and organize publish weekly events. They do a ton of work. They lead content. They (with amazing deftness) nudge conversations away from dumpster fire territory without insulting anyone. In doing so they attract a real comfortable crowd of people to Leroy Jenkins content on. Oh sure, they use strategy and tactics. But I mostly run Brutes and Blasters. I have heard there are meaning to such words. I have my suspicions though.

This is why I never joined Discord/ventrillo etc. Then I stumbled upon a SG with rave reviews that required it for badging incarnate trials. At least to be listen no talking required What I found us a mature (okay I am a tad childish but someone has to be) group that is fun to game with. Yes, some food tastes bad and some is hot garbage and bad for you. Other stuff is nutritious and wonderful. Why judge everything by the crappy diner on the corner?

If you just want to type there are about a zillion options built into the game. Form SGs form TF channels. Form anything. Ise the in game public channels. Wtf is Discord without talking to people? I feel like i’m taking crazy pills. Its the same thing! Cant you oeople see this?
