  1. being a prisoner of war. Military get 30 days paid vacation a year.It is not available "any old time you want it" being subject to the needs of the command. But 30 days a year to do whatever. including logging into the game. That is if your assignments have you under non computer access situations the other 11 months. (non stop nuclear submarine parking lot drills?)
  2. Thanks. Been practicing (a lot!) with Dark/Dark. I chose it for the theme but it is a solid set. When forced into PB range you do get stronger with Soul Drain and Dark Consumption available. The sustain is good, and at low levels helps complete story arcs. Snipe main (usually kills), hold flunky 1, fear flunky 2, kill flunky 2, kill flunky 1....done. Of course as the missions get tougher or on a team you have to adjust. But once you realize that Touch of the Beyond can incapacitate and get into the habit of using it that way the world gets easier.
  3. In discord “invite Clowny” one minute later “i cant find clowny” ”it has a zero in it i think” one minute later “ have clowny send me a tell” after another minute and resolution “oh i see it has a one and a zero in the name. Okay” net result 3 minutes lost for 20+ people. Thats one hour of gaming gone
  4. Actually i have 95% of the names i want/need. But i see SG mates struggle with names. Or league leaders trying to invite someone and struggle. Because clowny is spelled c10wny but it takes three minutes to figure this out
  5. So… I need to do everything in Ouro to get all Praetorian badges. Cool. Can do Now there is the alignment badge I still have a question on. I seem to remember from live that you choose one alignment in your first morality choice. Then in the next (5?) you choose the oposite and that nets you the rest of the badges. Does that work the same in Ouro?
  6. I build a bit. I shop really good builders products like i am planning for Black Friday months in advance A top notch Farmer tends to be expensive due to use of Winter sets A Dominator tends to be expensive due to use of Purple Sets chasing Global Recharge after that it depends on AT/build goals etc. Hyperstrike built me a SS/Invul Brute when I found Homecoming. It is bulletproof. It uses a LOT of really expensive pieces to achieve a nearly seamless build. It is great. You could achieve 75% of the effect pretty cheap because SS/Invul doesnt have a lot of seams right out of the box Most builds are a mix of expensive and cheaper sets. I slap cheap sets in about 50% of most of my builds because they work best at what i am trying to do.
  7. “Wherefore art thou my moniker?” - Will I Am 5I-I/\K35I*3/\R3
  8. There have been a great number of folks who have wandered through Homecoming servers. Many creat dozens, even hundreds of characters. Glad to have all of you. For those who stopped in but have mot logged in for two tears or so…. Do we really need to save their character names for them? Really? Because…..
  9. Hmmm. Good conversation. I am still lost somewhat though i was hoping for a clear path to get all Goldside badges available for doing missions in the LEAST number of steps. Most of the responses here seem to discuss doing ALL Praetorian content 1-20 that is in Ouro. Is that necessary?
  10. I badged Goldside a couple (three tops) times on live. Long ago. Doing the weird alignment badges and stuff. It was long ago. My memory is not great on it. Now I have a level 29 that I want to badge 1-20 Praetoria in Ourro with. Then fo First Ward. Experience is shut off. Does anyone have a guide or suggestions on how to go about this? What contacts/choices etc? I have all the location/plawues/river rat etc. Just need the mission and alignment badges. errr, i think. Thanks.
  11. you love the auction? your suggestion was to delete the auction... you only delete the ones you love.
  12. You can do this. It is called console gaming. You obviously are not enjoying the mmorpg experience seriously though. Find a crew, start running activity you enjoy and soon you will be swimming in Inf. Then this entire thread will seem like arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin
  13. These are the people who successfully kept a secret code server running for years. There are spy organizations that cannot guard a secret that well. I am not going to second guess their backup plans. I am not going to try to get them to divulge more than they want to when they want to. If the game implodes due to internet attacks or legal attacks I am sure this will all go poof. But somewhere....
  14. For my current run yes. I am also going to be doing all Gold mission badges and alignment badges as well as Blue mission badges in Ouro. All TF SF and Trial badges. On this run also doing all First Ward and Night Ward. Running 25-29 content now. Almost done Red stuff then start Blue/Gold. 702 badges
  15. lol. I said Live but I meant Homecoming. Undead life? Life again? Anyways, yes, these should be enshrined. Then sold lol
  16. I think those date to my first run back through on live....2-3 years ago?
  17. My current run is slightly more organized, leaves off VEAT, and only has 1-29 covered....
  18. Sorry for the stains, photo quality, and the wear and tear of unlife. These things bounce around my crypt forever.
  19. I have not found one. I do this about once a year. I turn off exp to do so. I keep a handwritten log (updated each run) that guides me. The current one I am working off of is 5 1/2 pages long. It was generated by clicking on each contact in the Villain contacts, writing down name, level range, who they introduce, how to unlock. Special notes like Arachnos VEAT contact, SSA contact, Strike Force contact etc. In my mind someday I will put this on an excel spreadsheet. But I do love pen and paper. Very tactile. I have done some drawing and painting. I even write stories a little better with a honest notebook than on the computer. Sigh. So old lol.
  20. I re-"vamped" (get it? get it?) my elec Blaster into a Blast Tank based on watching a new player use a Blaster in a fire farm and abuse Force Mastery. I came up with this strange beast. It will not compete for damage with a Fire/Fire. But it stays at Range, and has TWO insanely powerful "Oh Crap!" buttons. Force Mastery's Personal Force Field and Concealment's Phase Shift. 21. But it is the end. Sort of. Until Ouro
  22. Why? Why do you raise the pain (and aching realization of no fix EVER) of Invulnerability's Tier 9, laughing called "Unstoppable" Gauranteed Stop. Mike Drop. Well played you evil person.
  23. That is really important to know thank you
