  1. Since i never ran Blueside it all looks new to me lol. Then it all starts to look really…really…really old. Just finished 30-34 Blueside. Croatoa was nice. The 5 major origin contacts with 30+ missions each….not fresh. Like last months bread soaked in cat urine
  2. I very rarely do. I have a Farmer I use a farm build, that build is USELESS in normal content, so I slapped on a semi generic I/o build that works fine. On my new main, an Invul/Dark Brute that I am soloing the game with, I have a 1) Solo Build. Stealth. 2) Team Build. Taunt 3) at 50 I will put in a Aeon/Tanky build. Lots and Lots of hard armor, including probably Rune of Protection and possibly Unstoppable!
  3. if you really want to crank your forum numbers just make random responses. to anything. anything.
  4. Force Mastery has two powers that make you very very tough to put down. Force of Nature and Personal Force Field. i combine these with Stealth Phase Shift for 3 in my Elec/temp/Force Blaster who is fully ranged and rocking 50+% ranged def. Only in caves and small maps do i ever need one of those short term fix everything powers, and I have three.....
  5. I do not fear them. They would be wise to fear me.
  6. Why? Super Strength is irrelevant (if I must point out, in a Super Hero game) unless you have a Rage Monster concept or...more accurately....want a double stacked Rage PvP build (which is why this will never be fixed) So, again, why fix anything?
  7. You are welcome For my current “main” Dark/Invul Brute I am running two builds as I level. A “stealth” build with invisibility and no taunt for soloing. Then a “team” build with no stealth and the Taunt power. At 50 I will add a third build that will have Rune of Protection and possibly Unstoppable for serious Tanking. Also, over the last year, my thoughts on Touch of Fear have changed. This is a very valuable power not just for the AoE but for the crowd control. I will be looking at squeezing that onto builds where I can But this is the build I ran last year. I like a high recharge high accuracy build. A great source for all things Invulnerability is Hyperstrike. His thesis and templates on the armor set are the cornerstone of many a strong build
  8. here is the build I ran until I switched to Dark/Dark. I will be slapping D Sync Hamis into Dull Pain now (Heal/Rech) This Villain build was built using Mids Reborn 3.0.5.7 https://github.com/Reborn-Team/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 9. I just solo’d gold on Invulnerability. I have run Invulnerability off and on for years. I find it to be an incredibly sturdy set with none of the downsides of Stone (movement/damage) nor the lapses of lopsided pure defense sets. It does not have a damage aura. It does have some of the finest layered protection in game
  10. I mained Brutes for years. I am back on a Brute now as my main. I am soloing the entire game (every contact blue/gold/red) on a Dark/Invul Brute. To me this is the most survivable character that has almost no penalties and does good damage (specifically single target, AoE is meh) I run this as a high recharge version of a Hyperstrike Invulnerability build. High recharge supercharges the synergy of Dark/Invul and brings up the big buff power to near perma. Happy Bruting!
  11. Blizzshear? Keeps the original “feel” says cold as heck, and has about 99% chance of availability
  12. Psi Blizzard
  13. With much merriment have a nice Friday
  14. Put this where an enemy will walk on it
  15. Take the orig acct. get your farmer. PL the second acct toon to 50. A few hours work tops
  16. You want to look at Hyperstrike info. In my opinion the definitive word on Invulnerability and has provided templates
  17. I ain’t got no feelings
  18. Oh I will be using Unstoppable on my third build only. I have a solo stealth build, a team taunt build, and the third build will be going for maximum tankiness for stuff like Aeon
  19. Yes. I can easily hit 100+ on S/L on an Invul Brute. But Energy? Oof. Most of my builds hover on the 60s. This is where Rune of Prot, Oranges used strategically and reconsider running Unstoppable starts to be design possibilities
  20. From my addled memory this whole topic in my head is tabbed on the Dr Aeon TF. There is an ongoing discussion in the Brutes forum on it. My current project is soloing all old content so my attention is not fully on running Doc Aeon endlessly. But according to my understanding (shaky as that is) yes. Yes, the full resistance value acts as resistance to debuff of resistance (there has to be a more eloquent way to say that) This works everywhere and specifically is effective against the crazy Brickers. But I brought this topic up because really good gamers I know personally either thought this was not true or had no idea. My first interest in the topic after years and years in CoH was in relation to the Dr Aeon. I run Invulnerability because it is not only tough, it resists debuffs. So my 1st question was “is there a way to resist having your resistance debuffed?” All the data and feedback I have seen says absolutely. I have not tested it myself. Also I have seen some odd comments on the data that leave me with questions. But by and large all feedback points to 100% resistance acting as 100% debuff resistance
  21. This is a definite confirmation of the re release of CoH. Just glad we were able to see it in time to make plans…
  22. not sure where i got this in my head. but now i want answers lol it is my understanding (again...why?) that Resistance level is its own Resistance debuff resistance. if you run a Brute Tank with 100% s/l resistance you get credit for 90%, the hard cap. but if someone tries to debuff your resistance then you have the 100% debuff resistance any attempt to debuff your resistance any thoughts...data?
  23. it was my understanding that resistance was its own resistance debuff resistance. awkward sentence. so 100% res would be proof against resistance debuff... looking for where that got in my head now lol
  24. Cull the herd. What is left is much healthier
  25. It is hard to think of any AT/Build that is not improved by Hasten.
