  1. Click Mez Protection sucks because then you can't auto fire Hasten !
  2. Here is the build I am currently playing. I got it originally from a user name Omega-202 Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Like I said before, I never said this wasn't already doable, I said it needs significantly more work to do than just rolling a character and modifying costumes on it. Phantom army are clones of yourself, not at all what I was describing at all. Seriously though guys at this point you are just being obtuse for the heck of it. It's not hard to understand why the devs would not want to waste their free time moderating costumes more than they already are and dealing with unnecessary tickets and complaints because you want to be able to have a minor cosmetic feature. It's not going to happen guys
  4. The issue is that the devs and mods on Homecoming are all unpaid volunteers that have better things to do than play costume police. This would increase their workload significantly if they had to deal with people being shitty because they allowed a new level of degrading costume options in the henchmen customization. I would much rather the devs work on actual improvements to the game than open this Pandora's box
  5. AE a mostly secluded area of the game where you have to know which maps are which to see the full breadth of positive and not so positive content. I would assume 99% of the people who do AE do fire/sl farm maps and never look at the rest of the content. Doing that joke with a couple friends needs coordination with said friends. If it was so easy to get a bunch of friends agree to do a tasteless joke like this you would be seeing it, and we are not because it's just not as simple as rolling a character and modifying a bunch of costumes. Yeah it's possible but it's not EASY that's the kicker here
  6. I could make a Mastermind dressed as a pimp and have my pets be dressed like hookers. I could make my Mastermind dressed like a priest and have my pets dressed like little boys and so on
  7. Í'll see to posting it here in 4 or 5 hours. It's based on a build I found around here on the forums that I modified for my needs. I tried finding it to share but I can't remember for the life of me in which thread I found it.
  8. I can see why they would not let us do entire costumes for these guys but it would be nice to be able to change the colour schemes at least
  9. Good point, I hadn't brought it up because I only use the crabpack powers since I got to higher levels but thinking back it was one of the reasons I decided to go all crab without any of the rifle attacks
  10. I have never done a DPS pylon test for this guy (and I don't intend to SoA is IMO a team character), but I have never had the impression that I wasn't doing enough damage. Of course it's not Blaster level damage but combined with the 6 pets it's respectable. I also use Leadership Assault in addition to the TT Assault which helps with an extra 15% damage. For ST damage from what I remember off the top of my head, after Venom Grenade, Longfang will do about 90-100dmg per tick + procs and Mu Lightning will hit for 250-300 (I'm still testing this power, I have just started incorporating it in my rotation so I can't say if this dmg will be on all targets but in the s/l farm map I was in it did significantly more damage than Channel Gun)
  11. I like my Crab Soldier, he is super fun, his powers are nice, I like summoning spooky spider bots to bite the ankles of my enemies. What I don't like is not being able to change the colours of the Crab legs on the backpack that I am required to wear ! There are some parts of it that can be changed but there are these little teal coloured lights at the base of the legs and the ends where the evil comes out that is always red/orange. Would be nice if there was a second customization line under where you select the model of crabpack you want to use with 2 colour options to change these 2 aspects. Pack Model with it's existing 2 colour options Pack Accent with the 2 colour options to change these static elements of the pack (one to change the lights and one to change the lazers on the ends) Also being able to change the Arachnos Symbol on the base of the crabpack and being able to change the colour of the energy weapons would be nice !
  12. I don't have my build on hand cause I'm at work, but my AoE rotation doesn't look like that. I'm playing more of a Crabbermind type of build and I use Mu Mastery. My AoE rotation looks like this: Venom Grenade > Frag Grenade > Suppression With perma hasten I can just cycle those powers For Single Target rotation I use : Venom Grenade > Mu Lightning > Longfang > Mu Lightning Once again, with perma hasten I can just cycle those 3 powers with no downtime. I used to use Channel Gun instead of Mu Lightning, but I realized last night when actually looking at the floating numbers over the mobs that Mu Lightning deals a LOT more damage than Channel Gun. I will keep looking how this goes against more enemy types to see if Mu Lightning is generally better or not and if so I will probably need to switch up my enhancements between the two so that Mu Lightning has the procs and Channel Gun is the mule Disclaimer: This is just how I figured what a good rotation looks like, no science has been used to determine if this is optimal or not
  13. I wouldn't suggest that they play buff sets, because you get very little positive feedback from that. Kinetics is very strong that's for sure, but you get next to nothing out of it yourself. Most people want to see those orange numbers floating up over the heads of the enemies. I would go and suggest that somebody like that plays a Sentinel instead. You get the durability of defensive sets while still being ranged so you can just follow the team around while always keeping a more global view of what is happening in the fights. Sometimes when you are melee and the camera gets real close in when playing in tight areas it can get messy at times and I can see how that would upset people who aren't used to that kind of thing. Staying at range, while still being almost tank level durable which is very forgiving on "newbie" mistakes, like nuking before aggro is set, would be why I would suggest Sentinel above a buffer.
  14. Ahh thanks for that ! I did not know that it was capped at 5 ! I guess I would just drop it from Scorpion Shield and get the 6 piece set bonus of Red Fortune. I'm at work right now so I'm not sure if those bonuses would be useful yet. Either that or drop the slot from Scorpion Shield to put it into Rune of Protection for another recharge IO I'm sitting right now at level 35 I think, doing well although I haven't been playing that character much in the past 3 or 4 days, been rocking on my Crabby Soldier that I recently got to 50 doing ITF, Apex and Tin Mage to get those incarnate slots unlocked ! I will certainly be playing more of the MM though because it's a real fun combo and I'm just getting into the part when it opens up
  15. I changed up the build a bit because I wanted an EPP that had a shield toggle in it for more durability, I also ditched Weaken Resolve and Snow Storm in favor of going down in the Sorcery pool to get Rune for Protection for the status protection here is what I came up with Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 16. Does anybody have a build for this ? I am looking to make my first Dominator and Dark/Fire seems like something I would enjoy
  17. Titan Weapon all the way. One glaring problem with TW on a Tanker is how late you will be getting your good powers. If you can get through the initial hump though it's really great, especially considering the target cap buffs TW got in the Tanker patch, 10 target Arc of Destruction and 16 target Whirling Smash? Yesplz
  18. A clock aura. Make it so that you can have full body, head or hands
  19. Agreed on this, Mace is very good, especially on Tankers with the recent buffs, having Shatter constantly hit 5+ targets is amazing
  20. The reason he gets facerolled so bad right now is because he is likely the only guy on your squad that has any AoE ability. Once you get your Enforcers spamming their Uzi cones and your Bruiser Foot Stomping it won't be nearly as bad
  21. Until you get the rest of the Goonies Squad and upgrade powers to give others in said Squad some AoE powers of their own and some of the other CC/Debuff powers from /Dark you might as well think of it as a ritual sacrifice to appease the Dark Gods
  22. You don't need to be redside to roll a VEAT. When you get to the page where you select your "Playstyle" or whatever it's called, the one where you select support or damage, just skip that page all together from the tabs on top and it will bring you directly to the Archtype selection and you should see all the archtypes
  23. Yup, that's it, and on top of that Steamy Mist will give a 3.5% def (i think ? not 100% sure on the amount) while in combat
  24. Phased is a state that happens when you are in another dimension. This is what happens when you cast Black Hole from /Dark or Dimension Shift from Gravity Control. Only Target Self is a state that you are in when you cast something like Detention Field from Force Fields or Phase Shift from the Concealment pool Stealth is something different all together when you are invisible but can see be affected, affect others and detected if the target has enough perception. Shadow Fall works the same way as Stalker stealth, /Cold stealth, /Storm stealth and Concealment stealth. Long story short, Shadow Fall does not interfere with Supremacy and it shouldn't because it's a stealth class power
  25. Supremacy will only not affect your pets if they are out of range, if you are phased or if you are in an only affecting self state. Shadow Fall is a stealth power which doesn't toggle any of these conditions, similar to the stealth from /Cold and /Storm
