  1. Can't even be bothered to turn on a toggle, why even bother trying to help this person ? Seems like he is fully content playing at -1/3 difficulty
  2. Thanks for the tip! I usually just frankenslot all the def/res aura IOs on gang war, it frees up up a lot of space on the actual pets for procs and such. You build seems to want to actually use gang war for something else than damage mitigation so it might not be right for this build though
  3. You're right, my Fortunata doesn't have fighting pool, such a dirty fibber I am Weave give a decent chunk of +Def all and you can 4 slot your boxing/kick and drop in a 4pcs of Kinetic Combat for some extra juicy set bonuses
  4. I have yet to play a character of any AT that doesn't have tough and weave
  5. Focused Accuracy costs 1.17 end/sec
  6. Thanks, I didn't know that good info !
  7. Pets are on aggressive, that's all there is to it
  8. The P2W lady sells literal jetpacks for 5000inf/hour that are as fast as Fly no need to do any missions
  9. Do a Final Fantasy spellcaster type that has the 3 main elemental magic schools from the game to play with. Something like an Ice / Electrical / Fire Controller or a Fire / Ice / Mu Blaster
  10. That's right, all those frankenslots I put into the T1 bots in addition to the MM ATOs in the other pets are +def and +res auras that affect your pets. The rest of the set bonuses from the various sets will not affect the pets, only you.
  11. You can buy Enhancement Boosters from the merit vending machine for 5 merits that sell for about 1,500,000 inf each. You get 8 merits from Positron TF part 1. Money is extremely easy to get and you should have no problems what so ever getting the money you need just by doing TFs and selling off the merits like this. The only expensive one he listed is Panacea, which goes of around 10 million. Miracle, Performance Shifter and Numina's Convalescence also give +end procs and are all around 2-5 mill each
  12. I never take travel powers, Sprint + Ninja Run and a P2W jetpack combined with Oro portal and base portal are all I need. It would be pretty sick if it was free though
  13. The problem here is that you are probably not setting your pets to passive when traveling so they will attack anything that crosses their path if they are on agressive, or anything that attacks you if they are on defensive. I really like the MM numpad keybinds, not particularly the truncated version that tidge uses, but the full on numpad commands: 0 - selects all 1,2,3 - selects the tiers of pets 4,5,6 - agressive, defensive, passive 7,8,9 - attack, follow, go to / * - summons the pet tiers + (enter) apply the buffs For a full breakdown on how to create the bind files, please see here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/6503-the-homecoming-of-sandolphans-mm-numpad-binds/ So with this setup when traveling you would hit 0 on the numpad select them all, then 6 to set them to passive and they should stay alive between missions no prob One of the main reasons your pets will get shredded is if you don't have the proper resist and defence IO enhancements. If you want to function properly you need to have the following in your pet slots either T1,T2,T3 pets or in the secondary pets that Demons, Thugs and Necros get (Gang War, Hell on Earth and Soul Extraction). The IOs you are looking for are are in: Command of the Mastermind Mark of Supremacy Sovereign Right Call to Arms Expedient Reinforcements Edict of the Master These will give stacking +Def and +Res auras that will affect all of your pets making them extremely more durable and are basically mandatory if you plan on doing anything above difficulty setting +0/1
  14. Seriously just play whatever you want, nothing is strictly needed, I'm not exaggerating when I say that ! You will rarely if ever see someone spamming for a tank or a healer. Also you have 1000 character slots to play around with, personally I must have made 20 different characters before I got one that stuck to 50
  15. City of Heroes doesn't really have a rigid meta that needs to happen to win at Taskforces and such. You can have a run with mostly tanks/dps and everything will blow away so fast that it doesn't matter. Reversely you can have a group with only support and no melee/dps and everyone will be so buffed and the enemies so debuffed that it doesn't matter. When I form a group to do a piece of content, I literally invite the first 7 people that msg me and it works every time. You can play what you want with whatever powersets you want and it's all good as long as you have fun playing them
  16. Here is what I got for a Bots/EA build, I know you don't really like the Vial and the Dart but I really do XD Personally I really dislike the Robot attack powers ( I actually dislike the attack powers in every MM set) so I went with Dart at the primary attack, since let's face it you will be busy using your EA powers anyways and the smidgen of damage you would be doing isn't going to make a difference (Could also sub in Nemesis Staff and Blackwand here. I'm aware they are not great but Tactics helps them hit a bit more but if it's only to pad out an attack chain every once in a while I find they they do the trick and usually hit harder than any MM attack. I've gotten a Demons/Dark MM to 50 with only the 3 P2W attacks as my attack chain and it went surprisingly well since I was mostly busy controlling my dudes and using my support abilities). I slotted some -res and some knockdown to Corrosive Vial to give it some extra utility on top of what it does already and added some KB protection to Speed of Sound for an extra layer protection when you are out of the Cage. I'm not 100% sure how the -res stacks with Annihilation and Achilles' Heel, I think they just refresh each other so that could be changed, possibly to add another dmg proc or something, maybe somebody can clarify. I fit in the 5 LotG things without using stealth pool. The Defences to S/L are now at softcap and the resistances shown are with Faraday Cage OFF meaning that you will cap S/L resistances when you are in your cage (which you should always be when in combat since the CD on it is so low it can be easily moved around a battlefield). Feel free to change Hover for CJ if that is your cup of tea, it will take the same enhancements I sacrificed Defibrilate and Discharge to get here though, but honestly I find Discharge to be marginal at best, it's only real use is when fighting AV/EB and you can buy some poisoned daggers when you get there to do the same job. Some people like to use Defibrilate to sleep and sap enemies but I get by just fine not sleeping mobs and sapping is basically useless anyways. I also got rid of Power Boost since I am not a fan of it at all in a set that already has 2 heals on a very short cooldown, Rejuv Circuit is at 3 seconds and Insulating is at 8 secs, you should be good to just spam those no problem. The thing with power boost is that you would need to use it in a pinch, but if you have to activate a borderline useless power BEFORE setting off your heal, you might just slip on the heal and loose your bot, much better IMO to just throw out the slightly weaker heal. Ya I know it stacks with Empowering Circuit too but I really don't think it's worth it, especially on a 2 min CD Lastly since S/L res is capped in the Cage, it might be a good idea to drop a Sovereign Rights IO from Battle Drones to give them an Explosives Strikes damage proc to give them a bit more oomph. Or possibly drop the 2pcs Celerity set from Sprint to add an extra slot to Vial for some better recharge bonus. Possibly a second piece from Ragnarok, Acc/Rech, to get the end rec set bonus if it is needed to pad out end problems if they are present Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 17. That's right, it calculates how fast the skill takes to animate vs the damage it does. Based on a straight damage per click value, Pulse Rifle Burst would be stronger than Toxic Dart but Dart is still better then Pulse Rifle Blast. All 3 are pretty weaksauce though since your base modifier is at 0.55. As for Vial, the Achilles Heel/Annihilation -res proc is a pretty large damage increase and should not be underestimated, from some great info I got in this thread, Achilles adds around 40dps by itself
  18. This info might not be 100% accurate as it is taken from mids ( as I don't personally have a robot mm) and it is known to have some inconsistencies but at base value, unenhanced: Pulse Rifle Blast has 16.36 Damage per Animation Second Pulse Rifle Burst has 26.82 Damage per Animation Second Toxic Dark has 37.16 Damage per Animation Second About the only thing you can get that hits harder is Knockout Blow at 48.83 Damage per Animation Second and that's a melee attack from a PPP that has a 40 sec cooldown. Also for the sake of comparison, Fireball from Heat Mastery EPP has 38.09 Damage per Animation Second Agreed on that 20 is expensive, but it shouldn't be that big on an issue with some end reduction IOs on a EA character since you can give yourself end back. It can also take Achilles Heel, Annihilation (-res) and a bunch of other super useful IO procs to make it into a really strong power
  19. 250,000 inf per merit is lowballing it. Enhancement Boosters go for 1,500,000 inf each and they cost 5 merits to buy, comes out to 300,000 per merit. ATOs cost around 10mill, which comes out to about 33 merits. Much better to buy Enhancement Boosters and sell them, then buy the ATO you want. Sure you lose a bit on market fees but you still come out way way way ahead than buying them for 100 merits
  20. This data is from March 2020 and only covers characters that have made it to level 50. You can see the full breakdown for every AT and more on the General forum in the pinned posts
  21. FF isn't the least popular Defender set by a long shot. Traps/AR is where you want to be if you wanted a bottom of the barrel Defender
  22. I looked at it the other way, I voted for Kinetics, the set that is borderline weaksauce except for 1 power which makes it a god
  23. ok I didn't know that, but EA still offers full coverage compared to the others
  24. Repair is a very skippable power. Not much point to it since you already have 2 heals in EA, not only that but it's single target and has a 120sec CD so it's usefulness is highly dubious at best. The beam rifle/grenade powers are also skippable since they will be doing very little damage and will mostly be pulling aggro to yourself. The MM damage scale being at 0.55 you can't really rely on it for damage. You could just rely on the P2W powers all the way to 50, Blackwand, Nemesis Staff and Sands of Mu and not be in a too bad place since like you mentioned EA is a click heavy set and you might be busy with those powers a lot. If you want some actual powers to throw at the enemy, I would suggest going down in the Experimentation, Toxic Dart is pretty good with a low cooldown and Corrosive Vial applies a -Def which will help your pets hit better and can fit in a bunch of different procs notably Achilles' Heel and Annihilation -res. Most of the powers in EA are good for a MM, the only one I would consider skipping would be Defibrilate since it's useless for pets, but it's useful in groups so it really depends on how you play, if you mostly solo or group a lot. I have a /EA Corrputor and I have to say that it is a set which can get by with very little slots in most powers. Shock, Discharge/Galvanic Sentinel, Energizing Circuit, Empowering Circuit, Defibrilate and Amp Up are all mainly 1 slot powers that do well with either a Cooldown reduce or a single End Mod. on mine I actually put a Perfomance Shifter end proc in my Energizing Circuit but I'm honestly not too sure how good it is, might be best to just leave a single end mod in it.
