  1. I'm so excited to see this come to fruition. Thank you all for the efforts on behalf of our HC community.
  2. Welcome to the game! As a long time mastermind player I can assure you necromancy is a most excellent primary power set. Check out the mastermind subform for ideas about combining with secondaries and how to play. Overall enjoy your first time through. One teams level up the old-fashioned way, avoid fast XP farms, you really only get one time to do the new experience. Blue side has the older content, red side has the newer content and generally the more interesting story arcs, but there's good things to find on each. Maybe run a character on each side. And of course gold side but that's a little tougher to do solo, and gold side ( The going rogue expansion) is best done when you've got a little more experience under your belt. You won't really make money for your characters until you have level 50, and that wouldn't work too much about it. Honestly necromancy/dark miasma is an excellent starting combo it requires very little investment to make work well, and gets even better once you start to work on your build at end game.   8. So, I've long wanted a great base, but lacked the artistic flair to make it happen, particularly one built 'outside' the base itself. I've settled for somewhat functional for many years. Thankfully, with help from some of our base builder community members I've got my new base up and running on Everlasting. I started with a 'Bat Cave' concept that quickly expanded and grew into a subterranean hangout for rogues and vigilantes, staffed by a bunch of androids grown in vats, relics of the previous, rather mysterious original inhabitants. But who can say no to a fully staffed new base on a vigilante's pay? So I present the Rogue Underground (ROGUE-30559) on Everlasting. Thanks to @Easter Bunnyfor guidance/support and @Etchedfor the building itself! Would have been impossible without them 🙂 In my head cannon the base is underneath Port Oaks, accessed through a sewer. I'll post pics to follow.
  9. Base is finished! I want to express my thanks to @Etched and @Easter Bunny for their help in making that come true. I'll post pictures to the Base thread, and anyone who wants to visit what ended up being an underground hangout for the rogues and vigilantes of the Isles (and staffed by androids grown in vats) can come visit on Everlasting at: ROGUE-30559.
  10. It's a non issue. I'm mostly on incendiary. Occasionally I swap to cold ammo for the range boost. By itself cryo mostly negates the sentinel range penalty. With +range from IOs/Alpha, you can get some great distance. Useful on certain fights, like Battle Maiden on TinPex. And was Frozen Burn said, the swap mechanic is as easy as clicking a button. No animation.
  11. Sentinels don't suck now, and yes, this is a great idea. Low hanging fruit, I say.
  12. On my home office at my gaming desk my wife bought me for my birthday. I play alone. No pets. Usually only when my family is not around. 15 minutes to several hours, just depends. Headphones. In game sounds or Cape Radio/music.
  13. Maybe higher demand? All I know is I was grateful to get a builder to help, and one with talent, too.
  14. I run my alts to 50 on xp teams, kit them out, then run them through the Oro arcs from 1-50 so I can play with full slotting and have an enjoyable time instead of the leveling slog. Also for badges and missable content.

  18. Cashews, cheese n crackers, or apples n peanut butter. With water. Or hot black tea. If I'm lucky, lokum (Turkish Delight).
  19. I have both ATO sets on my sentinel and should be getting +20% range boost...but on power inspection / tool tip, it shows the base range. Is this a new bug? I swore when I last played my sentinel last spring it did display the new boosted range upon inspection....any thoughts/experiences? Thanks.
  20. I currently enjoy sentinels after the recent buff. They are at the right spot where I feel they do not eclipse blasters nor scrappers, but do well enough at their own niche. As was posted above "kind of a ranged scrapper". I'll take a small hit on damage to not chase things in melee.
  21. Sentinel Regen for scrappers. This is a no brainer. It's only complicated because reasons.
