I've begun adding some of these to the very nice calendar we have now.  I've got about a month and a half in so far, but you can now view the events and add them to your calendar much more easily.

From GM Amittai on the homecoming Discord:

"Weekly Strike Targets change at Midnight UTC on Monday (what a lot of people generally think of as Sunday night), which was 6h48m ago as of this moment - your start time was 1:53AM GMT, nearly 2 hours after the Weekly Strike Target changed, and was completed at 5:58AM GMT, just under 6 hours after the change. If the LFG tool was still showing Explorers and Exploiters as the WST when you began, that's an error carried over from the Live schedule and we'll report it to our dev team so they can hopefully implement a fix to prevent any further confusion. You can visit https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,1398.0.html to see the dates that WST targets change through the week of 4 Nov. We apologize for the confusion on this matter; I know it can be frustrating to not get the reward you were expecting."

Okay, so it DOES go by server time and the live visual is a UI bug.

For what it's worth, I just did this last week's weekly, starting at 11:07 p.m. Eastern, ending at 11:57 p.m. Eastern, and did get credit for doing the Weekly Strike. So apparently the new weekly doesn't start at 12:00 midnight UTC after all, but 12 eastern.

Interesting!

Still looking for the OP to be updated with current (it's listed, just a few weeks out of date), and a header in that post with time of change-over would be useful... Especially since we've got conflicting information on it, now.

Death is the best debuff.

Yay! This info is awesome. But..serious question...WHY would DrQ even be in the rotation? Sure, hero side has way more TFs (hint hint, lowbie vill SF please, and some focusing on each patron?) but Q is literally the worst content in the entire game, at least to me. It is stupid long, repetitive, and, sin of sins, BORING. Boring, so so very boring. Maybe it would be less annoying to navigate the missions with team tp but still just..boring.

Dr. Q is a Shard task force. It is part of the cycle. Also, the game now provides a ton of different ways - Ouro ports, Team Teleports, temp jetpacks - to make Dr. Q TFs run faster than ever before.

It used to take 8 hours of dedicated game play to finish Dr. Q. Last time I ran it, with ALL those shortcuts available, we got it done in 3 hours. It's good now. Learn it. Live it. Love it. DIE FOR WITTY! Wait, sorry, that shouldn't have been said, lemme refresh...

A faster DrQ is STILL a DrQ. And an utterly boring time with no excitement or payoff (other than the finish line).

Other than being the single largest lump sum of merits you can get in the game. 120+ doubled to 240+ merits, for three hours or so of work, isn't a bad payout for three hours of boredom.

You could do better with 3 hours of DA story-arc flashbacks heh.

Also could we change Apex/Tin Mage to later? My two absolutely favourite pieces of content are the WST during the International Film Festival =p (just my luck hah)

Properly organized (such as everyone has a team teleporter power) Dr. Q can be done roughly an hour. 240 merits in an hour is a GREAT return on investment. Granted, expensive for first characters for those teleport powers.

DrQ is a pleasant evening compared to Apex.  I suspect Katie Hannon (and Ernesto Hess) don't appear in the rotation because they are locked behind certain mission badges.  This suggests that Apex and Tin Mage should be taken out of the lineup as well.  They are locked behind endgame achievements that many players haven't gotten to yet.

When heroes are stuck with DrQ, villains get Virgil T, which is relatively short and fun.

244 merits is a very very good incentive to run it for me. Just because you (or even many people) find it boring isn't a reason to entirely rule out a particular task force from being a strike target, I'm sure several people will still run it for the merits, the badge, or both.

Agreed.  DrQ is not like it was back on Live.  The first time I id it on Live it took 7+ hours.  Now, with all the temp power (ATT, Mission TP, etc.) it is pretty quick to knock out DrQ (~1 hour).

I'm not sure how you get 1 hour. I mean, I buy the Team Transporter for the entire team when doing it as a matter of course, and it still takes me 2 to 3.

All 8 have the Team Transport an the leader goes down the list calling out who's up next to teleport everyone to the next mission. By the time you get through all 8 the leader's is back up and the process continues. So 0 travel time or zone hopping except for the Hunts which, granted, add some time.

Does the Nov 4 repeat for Nov 11 or is the ITF on Nov 18 supposed to be Nov 11?
