Hey all! Been lurking here a while, figured I'd finally show my face with a few chars of my own.

 

Captain Ironheart - Invuln/SS Tanker. Generic flying brick guy.

Sigma Orionis - Fire/Atomic Blaster. Some sort of plasma creature that claims to be a living star.

 

Doctor Machina - Bots/Elec MM. Evil genius who uploaded his consciousness to a robot body.

Happy New Year all! Finally I've created a character to go with my namesake's costume I put together over a year ago(!)

Here is the Azure Angel (AzureAngel on Excelsior)

I'm really happy with this one. I was working on new costumes for another character, when I inadvertently stopped on "Spectrum" while selecting new pants. That other character's two main colors combined into something amazing with Spectrum and I had to use it, but it wasn't suitable for that character. So naturally I had to roll a new guy.

 

This is alt #115, Mind Flame, my first new alt of 2022. He was a nuclear scientist, working in Galaxy City when the meteors hit and destroyed his lab. Radiation was released, vaporizing his body, but somehow his consciousness remained. Latent psychic powers sustained his mind, and as those powers came into focus they reached out and formed a new body made of pure nuclear energy. Combined, the two energies - psionic and nuclear - strengthened each other and allowed him to control both. (Psychic Blast/Atomic Manipulation blaster)

My latest rogue (and hommage to blue-collar thieves) : Lightheist (Ill/Traps) !

A disgruntled Architech Entertainment engineer who, feeling his technoloy and "genius" weren't appreciated enough, decided to use his advanced holograms to make himself rich (mostly, by robbing banks and corporations).

Love this one.  I am biased in my love for heist themed villains though!  I really like that he has a cool AE architect engineer backstory and the look to match.  Good work!💰💰💰

Much appreciated, thanks! I find it very hard to use this face without it looking goofy, but it's also one of the only faces with visible stubble... So I had to find a way around it. 🙂

Long time lurker, first time poster. Here's Athosin, my Peacebringer. Recoloured the PB powers to Hasten-gold. Tried to go Captain Marvel/ Superman feel.

Introducing the Night Fang (Claws/Nin) : an orphan from the 'Row who eventually joined the Vanguard as a Sword operative, until his hierarchy disavowed him for his extreme methods. Now back in Paragon, he has taken it upon himself to clean the city of its criminals under the guise of the violent viper !

 

  

 

He later upgrades to a more advanced costume, outfitted with his original Vanguard gear :

Main: Without Pause Claws/wp brute. Name born out of Rebel without a Clause

Younger sibling: Sneakers StJ/ea Stalker. Name came from wanting to do an anit-cape character.

Template: Back on live a known player on Freedom and some other servers I believe had something very similar to this. Needless to say I have copied and modified this look more than I could imagine.

Variation. Greyed Out StJ/shield Stalker. This version is from the idea of making a character look like they are on a B&W TV. 

Variation #2: Brian Blaze Fire/ea Sent.

Variation #3: Ghost Striker EM/ea Scrapper. This and the previous one should likely have a different color for the bottom of the boot. Sometimes it matches with the gloves, sometimes not.

Variation #4. Outsmart Fort. First time I used four slots before I was happy with the look. One I considered a good look for a lower level thug, but the build is 50 and nearly complete so, yeah. Yes, he needs a cape. I didn't know the default Widow options could be bypassed, so it took some slots to get where I wanted it. 

Variation #5: Power Sign: Time/dp Def. Inspired by all of the protests and such which where going on in the US at the time.

Without Remorse Dark/ea Stalker. I found out the "trick" for making a tattoo look on live so had to do it here.

Female tattoo variation. Without Hesitation Claws/ea Scrapper. Alt slots are used for changing the color of her top and tattoos. It just depends on what I feel like. 

Template #2. Blame watching Arcane. I haven't figured everything out, but I loved the looks in the show and having something with the blue Hextech via a weapon/power feels like it needs to be added.

This is super slick. I think combining the gloves/boots from the first costume with the tights pattern of the second would really give it the feel of snake scales.

 

I keep messing around with both snake- and spider-themed characters but they never come out the way I want, so I might just have to straight-up steal this. 😈🐍
