We really ought to be able to exchange or share Incarnate salvage (shards, threads, etc.) either via email to ourselves or in base storage so our alts or friends can have the ability to use the salvage if you have extra. Thoughts?

I have a ton of extra threads that just sit on my mains because I'm such at a high level incarnate, and I've crafted to T4 on all the Incarnate powers.

If there is one thing that should stay as a per character system, it’s the Incarnate system. Besides, you can transfer the big toys and just burn excess threads on those super inspirations.

Under no circumstances should Incarnate salvage be tradeable.  (My main has several T4s for each slot and has a bunch of extra salvage, and I still prefer that it's character-bound.)  I'm not even thrilled with Empyrean/Transcendent Merits being mailable to alts, but I understand the concession the devs made to altoholics.

Pretty much this, with enough alts you can pool emp merits and +3 out as fast as you can craft after hitting 50.  Tier3 incarnate abilities are good enough for me, rest gets pooled

I actually support the ability as a minimum to exchange any salvage to include incarnate within an account. In my case, that is a special since I am an Alt-o-holic.

In general, I also support letting us sell incarnate salvage and add that to the market aspect of the game, it certainly will bring new life to that part of of the game. At one time, when the company made money out of time-sinks, the limitation made sense, it was a business must. But today, the game is free, and the business model has shifted from tedious time sinks to simple player enjoyment; a change I am all too grateful for. Long gone are the idiotic travel torture, even the TFs are being changed to remove brutal stupid tedium, so it only makes sense that incarnate stuff should now be sellable; in fact it would be a very very cool thing if the various incarnate slot items (t1,t2,t3,t4) for the various incarnate powers be craftable and sellable; but if any, as a baby step, just happy to be able to sell and buy materials to make such slot items.

I don't think it would be BadWrong to be able to transfer iBits to other characters on your own account... but I'd draw the line at being able to auction house them, or trade them between accounts.

Doing the work yourself on one character and having it benefit another of your crew doesn't seem terrible to me, in other words, but having someone else entirely do the work for you? That would be an issue.

How about just letting incarnate shards and threads be acceptable alt currency for certain things at the P2W vendor? Or some special version, like 100 threads/20 shards for one of the Buff Amplifiers?

Give an extra set of badges for going to P2W and rejecting shards/threads/incarnate salvage?

I don't care for this, either, but as long as it all remains account-bound it's not necessarily bad.

If it's even acceptable at all to convert:  It takes 340 threads (equivalent; 4 Uncommons + 100 threads) and 25M inf to make a Rare (= 8 Empyrean Merits), or 1,360 threads (equivalent; 4 Rares) and 200M inf (4 Rares + 100M) to make a Very Rare (= 30 Empyrean Merits).  So it should take at least 40-50 threads (42.5 just to cover the Rare conversion, not counting inf cost) to make one Empyrean Merit.  I'd leave the down-conversion where it is (1 EM -> 20 threads).
