  1. Yea, that's what I meant by "We have to ask" The system doesn't send that back as default and I don't know how much extra DB call happens to enable that to happen. And a call to local files for your notes section if you want the stars to be shown.
  2. Hmm, tried this with the lead at +4 and one other char who entered while the lead was out of zone. Both level 50s. Dark Astoria Ephram Sha - stuck at +4 Synnapse - stayed at +4 So, didn't happen with that. I have seen it happen, though most people wait for the team lead to be in zone often enough that it's been awhile. I know a patch note said they fixed it, then noted it still happening, so I think they fixed some instances of it. Probably figuring out how to make it happen will be helpful to the devs. There are quite a few more test cases to try out. I suspect different levels could be a factor.
  3. New to Healix, but you are correct, nothing different from last year during the event. Some new stuff to buy with Aether though coming "soon"
  4. Might not be a very clean interface. I do notice that the only time it updates a note with known local names is if you say Edit. And we don't get global name unless we ask for it. If feasible, putting it in the search window might not be bad depending on how many queries that would be for. I suspect the interfaces are not setup for group grabs of the global.
  5. I'd place Water/Ninja Blasters with the moistest crits. 😉
  6. Problem with most of those tests, they're set at +4/x8. At +0/x1 it barely matters. Honestly, the biggest obstacles are some of the EB fights and outside that any AT is fine.
  7. My next soloist will probably be a sentinal though I haven't decided on what sets I'll use. Previous solo characters have been tankers, brutes, scrapper, and stalkers. The mez protection is the main draw and I've done enough praetoria where it's even more important. As others said, pretty much anything can be done at base levels.
  8. The contact levels are correct in the wiki, but the various neighborhood level ranges are not. And the zone has contacts up to level 20, though those mobs will of course only be in mission. Tangent: Hazard Zones; What signifies the classification? I thought it were the zones that were not on the tram lines and normally behind a security gate (or some other step like the Abyss submarine) And Trial zones tend to be similar.
  9. Yep, had similar issues. Had to rotate the base layout which meant moving everything.
  10. What you might want to do afterwards is make a copy of your Homecoming folder and do a fresh install. Then copy over the directories that have info you still want (accounts, architect, costumes, powercust, screenshots, settings for example)
  11. Depends on the league leader if tip teams split off completely, or if they set it up as one of the six. I've done both. As long as someone doesn't just run off to do a tip mission without warning. However, if everyone on a team has the tip, it does go quickly to get all those badges at once since with stealth and some form of TP it's a quick mission. Longest bit is switching alignment, so if I'm doing the PI Motel, I tend to do the redside rumor first and switch to blue before the motel, or after everything else since the tip doesn't go away until used. (Still have a couple characters with the tip from years past) Pretty much all the etiquette rules boil down to "Will this screw with other people getting rewards? If so, don't do that."
  12. I thought it was said explicitly in the RWZ. Oh well. Maybe because of a multibox running thru to a mission or something in the zone, but there should be wording about MSRs. I think the only multibox that made sense in a ToT setting was the few times that there was a lack of 50s and someone would get an anchor for team until it wasn't needed. (Come to think of it last year at least one league leader had the incan return point to the motel by a second. One other thing during the Motel League that I didn't see mentioned: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Whispered_Rumor If you get this tip, see if the league can set up a team for running these. Every so often, you'd get someone below 50 start the mission causing the whole team to drop level.
  13. Just noticed this: Three of the Glowie sound modification are listed as "Glowie - X" and and we have "Double Loud Glowie" and "Loud Glowie" Would be easier to find if they were all: Glowie - Annoyingly Loud Glowie - Double Loud Glowie - Loud Glowie - Music Box Glowie - Ping (v1)
  14. I think they sanitized it?
  15. DP/Martial does seem to be a popular combo. (I have one as well) Martial is one of my favorite blaster secondaries though. I also have the typical AR/Dev Blaster. They play different, but both are fun. Like others have said, AR is more range, DP is close in. I'm not sure which one is the higher DPS since they're both still being kitted out. The AR is a later build, so it's a bit more planned. And when I'm solo, the AR can be risk free just with a few trip mines. On teams, I rarely bother with the mines.
  16. Yep. Client only is known. Let's just say if I have a character with that costume on, I don't want someone going "yummy" because of the mod. It's creepy enough without. And, looks like in the file, the costume is bikini_2 which is "Bikini 3" in the costume creator. And Eden seems to be skin_bare.
  17. I might do a pass on my characters and take out those costume bits. I suspect I don't use either. (ack, two characters if I go by their saved costumes, but at least they're wearing skirts)

    Halloween Badges

Looks like with the current stock of characters, I'm at 31 complete, 52 with at least the Aether, and 16 with none. Pretty sure 15 of the 16 will get at least the Aether plus others, we'll see how many of the 52 finish up. And of course, there may be a couple new chars in the mix.
  19. ITF does lend itself for some fun teams. Did a Chaos run with everyone doing tons of KB.
  20. Very small SGs on a few servers shared with three other people. They were the ones i played with on live that still play. Decently sized friends list which is one way to figure out who else is on at times (or via discord) And usually sending messages that are of the "That's a cool name!"
  21. I assume "not slow", but depends on team composition. And if the lead wants clear to objective, then that's the pace we'll go at. They're the one who put stuff together and I prefer to encourage people who lead. KM on ITFs are pretty standard just because that's a mine of XP. Heck, you can get nearly a level just by clearing after defeating Rom. Speed runs can be interesting when you've done specific content a bunch of times and you want to see what can be shaved, but again, the lead sets the pace. Add: I tend to wait until the lead exits the mission to exit.
  22. I try not to use "shoot" & "capture" in my photography due to the influence of one my mentors, and since I mostly do animal photography, it's less confusing when I'm talking about it. However, this mug is great.
  23. Thumbs up for a thoughtful post, even if I disagree with it. played since Beta and didn't really see a Holy Trinity. I saw people advocating for team composition, but that was also when if you weren't an Empath defender, you'd get passed over if playing a different defender. I like that you can put together any composition and tackle 90% of the content, or do solo stuff when you just want to chill. Also this makes it so that sub-optimal builds can be played.
  24. DP Ninjitsu Blaster perhaps.
  25. I think it's from when you level. I think I noticed something like that, but I don't remember what I found out.
