Honestly you'd probably be better off asking (or "also asking") folks who can mod the game to see if they can create, alter or disable the animation. If the devs create an alternate animation, they'd likely have it as a power customization - which means the person using it would have to change it, and there's no way for them to know "oh, I'm going to be teaming with so and so" (and even if they did, no guarantee they'd change the animation... or wouldn't use it on purpose. With Sonic's original graphics, once it became known it was triggering migraines in people, some ... *individuals* took great joy in applying it, *especially* to people who asked them not to.) With a mod (via city mod installer) it doesn't matter what they do, you'd see the mod graphic instead.

Depends on the badge and if the location's appropriate. They do have bits of lore tied in with them after all. -
AOEs tend to be effective (as in an actual weakness) ... I don't recall if it was vs. Nemesis or Rikti Drones. One of the two annoying groups. That and using Sleeps to shut down defenses and armors in general. Seem to recall controlling the Patrons/Heroes in MLTFs/LRSFs with sleeps so we could just handle them one at a time... without any special slotting, perma-ing, etc. They're really underrated because people only seem to see "they get broken with any damage." yep. But they wake up without that armor/bubble/tohit debuff patch available.

Except... incarnates aren't the "top level" by far. They're borrowing power from the Well - which was, after all, being threatened to be "eaten" (for lack of a better description) by the Batallion. And we were supposed to have more powerful entities to deal with, such as ascended (of which Prometheus is one,) and at *least* one other level was mentioned past that... Incandescents, Fluorescents, and so on. -
I'll take XP debt over the million other ways other games deal with it (see: "You are now less powerful by x %... and if where you rez is in range of the enemy that killed you, you'll get killed again and be less powerful *again* by even more..." or "You lose equipment and have to try to run back or lose it all - plus whatever you lose by getting killed while runnign back unequipped." )

Nobody knows if you have debt unless you tell them. Nobody cares. You still "gain XP" just like everyone else - yours just goes to eating away at the debt partially. It doesn't affect anyone else. You don't *get* debt under level 10. Basically, if someone told you otherwise, they were wrong.

Sooooo... don't look at those channels? I don't get why they were changed either. Honestly more annoyed at the "have patrol XP for it" than any location swaps, though.

Ingredients ▢ 6 medium apples (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, or other good baking apple), peeled and cut into chunks ¼ inch thick ▢ 1 cup water or apple juice ▢ 1/3 cup brown sugar , packed ▢ 1 Tablespoon cornstarch ▢ 1 Tablespoon lemon juice ▢ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ▢ 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg ▢ 1/8 teaspoon salt For the batter: ▢ 1 cup all-purpose flour ▢ 1 cup granulated sugar ▢ 2 teaspoons baking powder ▢ 1/4 teaspoon salt ▢ 3/4 cup milk ▢ 5 Tablespoons butter , melted ▢ ground cinnamon for topping Instructions Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch pan lightly with cooking spray. Stir together brown sugar, water, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a saucepan. Stir in apples. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring. Pour mixture into prepared pan. In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter, just until combined. ... you're still going to have to be more specific on what you want, then. Since honestly I'm not sure why you're not considering beast a "nature" set when everything in it calls on and buffs things from the natural world - animals. You obviously don't mean "natural" as in the origin, even though that somewhat sounds like what you're describing with the "If I want to roll a mage, I've got fire, ice, etc." (Which... you can also use the nature themed sets for that, as well, and the ones you listed for most anything else - they're fairly generic, so as to let the user come up with their own explanation as to why the player has that ability.) So... let's tackle this differently. There's nothing as far as melee that I think anyone can call "nature based." What would you want in a "nature melee" or "nature armor" set? What would it look like? What *about* that Nature Sentinel or Nature Blaster? Describe what would fit what *you're* looking for.

Only real main concern I have on here is just how it'd interact with the SG system, portals, etc. given the spaghetti the game is built of. I don't know that I'd take advantage of it, personally - then again, I have a friend who's more than willing to build bases and apartments, so if I want a "home" space, I hop in there via base code. And it already has an "invite your friends (team) along" functionality to it. Personally I'd think, as far as "souvenier contacts," that'd better be handled via a terminal or computer that can show more detail than just the souvenier window - otherwise, given the number of arcs, any "Home" or lair would get fairly crowded. (Plus, as far as a home, it'd be ... "WHY is Positron here, along with the leaders of the Vanguard divisions, a ghost from Croatoa, a Rikti....") Actual souveniers (a sword, an N fragment, etc.) would be less problematic, but ... still could look clutter-y. All that aside, more *themes* for bases and some basic pre-set layouts there would be nice. Not the same as what's being proposed, but still.

The entire post is meant to be humorous, using the results from an image search for "kama." It's referring to a song from 1983 from a band known as "Culture Club" on the album "Colour by numbers," and their only Bilboard #1 in the US. The song itself is called "Karma Chameleon," with part of the chorus going "Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon," which resembles what you'd hear if you read the captions for each image quickly enough, at a similar speed to what the song uses. (Example at 0:45 in the video linked above.) This is meant to be a joke, aka something said or done to evoke laughter or amusement. (American Heritage dictionary 5th ed.)

Two points: One, not everyone runs max team, max level (and/or exemped.) Two, the buffs start when you get them, and can expire partway through. If you're a low-to-midbie running stuff, don't have all the fancy (say) END boosting IOs but are at a point where powers are being used enough to make that an actual consideration, being able to stack them and *keep* them just because you joined a TF that was forming right now would be nice... instead of having to check their duration (if you remember) and/or hold up the team while you run back to base. (And if you're in something that's a *bad idea* to leave partway through - such as getting into an MSR, where the zone can be filled and you *can't* get back in, well...)

League Running, Scaling Enemies, and Annoyance

Pretty much the only (real, versus imagined) reason to give the star to a 50 would be Incarnate powers - and *possibly* slotting, depending on what they've done to their sets. (Edit - and actually *having* all their powers. I know I'll occasionally be thrown if II'm so used to having some power available, hop into a crowd and "... crap, I'm exemped down past that power ow ow ow ow ow.") -

Never said they did. But if someone wants to throw something at a teammate, these exist already without being (too) troll-y/disruptive.

Frisbee and Snowball exist already. (As do the arrows of romance/jealousy, which at least give a friendly target a buff.)

There's a limit to where "that makes the game too easy" really works as an argument. Everyone having judgement, team or league wide buffs, etc? Yes, that certainly does and has become OP, sure. Not having to run back to base in the middle of a TF to recharge a tiny buff, at the cost of salvage? Not so much. These buffs already exist in game. The proposal isn't to make them more powerful or be able to stack potency, just to save a little time for what's essentially the same duration.

It's already costing salvage, and still time limited. This just saves a little travel time, if anything. Not making it cheaper or more powerful.
